Day-22, #dungeondrawingdudes. Balfo the #undeadbard, he was an average musician at best. Then he was lost in the woods and found a interesting piece of wood, turns out it was a piece of the underworld and when he touched the wood it killed him. In his new existence he shaped the wood into a guitar and gained unearthly talent. The Prince of Time in the Land of Sadness and Death

You have to admit, you were expecting something like the planets that others on pesterchum and tumblr have posted and written about; something with snow or sunlight or floating rocks or bubbles that floated from island to island. 

But holy hell, your land is the most depressing place you've ever been in. 

It's fortunate that you had an umbrella with you when you entered the medium, because the pouring rain would have soaked you to the bone almost instantly. The rain had stopped soon after you started exploring, but your poor sneakers were still soaked. You had to deal with the squishing noises they made every time you took a step.

The sky was a dark gray, adding a dreary aura to the already depressing scene. There was hardly any vegetation anywhere; nothing but a barren wasteland. There are dead trees scattered around the place. It was devoid of life in nearly every sense. As you push forward, you think you can hear people (or creatures) whispering, "Is that the Prince? Has the Prince come at last?"

You have no idea why they're calling you a Prince. Your sprite had called you the 'something of Time'...maybe he/she/it meant Prince of Time? Regardless, you didn't feel very much like royalty; soaked sneakers and pants legs, wandering around a place that you could very well get killed in? 

But you had to wonder...your sprite managed to get the name of your land for you (how you don't know). Apparently it was called the Land of Sadness and Death. You could certainly see the 'Sadness' part of it...but how did Death fit into this world? 

Hours into your exploration, night falls and the strong scent of smoke and something burning enters your nose.  Was there a bonfire of some sort going on? Sure enough, you soon see ferret-like creatures circled around a large bonfire. The smoke rose up like a tower into the sky, which had very few stars and a large, blue moon.

Some of these creatures appeared to be crying, and you briefly wonder why. You squint, hoping to see what was so special about this bonfire. 

And then you see two of the consorts carry one of their own - obviously dead, if the large gash on its chest was any indication - and throw the corpse into the fire.

Fear, shock, and horror claw their way into your heart as you make the chilling realization. They were burning the dead. 

You're pretty sure that princes don't pass out when they see something like this going on. 

But since you're not an actual prince, that's exactly what you do. The last thing you remember before you black out is surprised/joyous shouts about how "The Prince of Time is here! At last we're saved!"

You can destroy the fabric of time, or you can destroy using your time powers.
