Danny sighs in exhaustion, rubbing at his eyes with a too-long sleeve. He was honestly getting really tired of getting de-aged. It was annoying, and even if he did stuff differently there was still a lot of stuff the same. Not to mention that being partially alive (and unkillable) meant that it couldn’t be reversed, he just had to wait for his body to grow back up. Urgh. 

At least his babysitter- even if he doesn’t need one- is pretty nice, if a bit quiet. They’re not too busy, especially for being a reaper, and honestly it’s always nice to meet another of Clockwork’s kids. Which if someone had told him that CW had a habit of adopting anomalies to the timelines, he probably wouldn’t have believed them. 

But hey, he guesses Mr Speedforce-Death is his big brother anyway. And it’s not too boring, kind of nice to just chillax. Oh- the cowl-thing is going on and he’s getting an offer of a shoulder ride. Guess it’s someones time to die- hey, maybe he’ll be able to befriend their ghost!

Day 5 - WAR ARC WAR ARC WAR ARC

(I’ve said it before. I’ll say it again. FUCK CAMOUFLAGE)

we’ve had some real bangers since last time but I still REALLY love the war arc. Obviously the spotlight on tella is a big plus for me. But the gun fight between Billy and Fuuko is also one of my favourite scenes, I think it’s really cool great badass billy moment. Plus this is where Loop 101 really gets into its “we’re gonna have a massive cast now” era, which is a real delight.

(Also I find it deeply funny that one of the side characters in this manga is canonically like… a war criminal)

I love the delayed reveal of tella adapting his ability in the space of a few minutes. Before finding out a couple chapters later with Sean that negator abilities are super difficult to adapt. Like UGH. He’s such a guy really. He really really wants to protect his boss (boyfie).

Whumptober Day 4 - Forgotten (REPLACEMENT PROMPT)

Back at it again. For proper reading experience, please read this while being screamed at by one to five 3-4-week-old kittens. We're borrowing Jay from @zombiebugbites - she's from the Everlasting Primordia AU, and giving us a lovely opportunity to bring up fun aspects of The House Is Established's universe that won't come up organically in normal AU posting! Very exciting.

Ink smeared on the word count lettering a bit, but it's fine, nothing's perfect. We will now go try and finish the Day 2 fill so we can finally dedicate our Carousel pen to something else and/or work on Day 5. See you... soon.

I have so many questions about Astarion's birth family that it isn't even funny.

I wonder what sort of relationship/dynamic they all had before his death, I wonder how they reacted, if they knew he was "alive" as a spawn the entire time and just ignored it because that creature wasn't their son/brother/nephew anymore, how they would react if told he had spent 200 years suffering. Most of all, I wonder if they would accept (or be proud of) the man he became at the end of the game.

because the Ingellvar background says that Rook was found and raised by necromancers, but I think I'm more entertained by the idea of my Mourn Watch Rook Marcus having been literally raised by the undead.

As Fuuko and Julia ride off toward Brazil, Fuuko tells Julia that she would have told her about Juiz regardless of whether she won the bout or not, but Julia kept insisting on trying to win before she could tell her that.

Julia then gets a little embarrassed she might have caused her school gymnasium to collapse for nothing.
