DIGIFAKE WEEK ‘17 - DAY 6

Only one prompt today, but I wanted to talk about re:ACTOR a little bit, and this was a great chance to! re:ACTOR is going to be a short (like, ~13 chapters) mini-project I want to do after re:CONNECT is done-- so not for a while yet, haha. i hope this still fits the theme-- it’s a hybrid of human and digimon, so. ;v;’

The basic mechanical concept going into re:ACTOR is that, because of Plot Stuff, digimon can't digivolve normally, and so digimon seek out humans with whom they have a ‘reaction’, allowing them to digivolve to a higher stage to deal with Plot Stuff. (just champion level equivalent, because it's a short series).

So Avidramon, who I’ve posted before, is the higher level of Ryokomon and his human [tentatively named Kaworu], who I’ve also drawn before! There's one other main human, a girl with an insect-like digimon, and they're super fun, but i only had so much time

attacks rocket dive engages the engines in its wings to fly at max speed at an enemy, tackling them at full force or slashing them with claws as he passes. it has to be careful not to set anything behind it on fire. fuse cannon ignites the jet fuel stored in its body in order to breathe fire. it can either use this like a flamethrower, spewing a jet of fuel and then igniting it for a stream, or as a concentrated fireball. if it tries to charge the fireball for too long, though, it might backfire catastrophically. jet barrage the 'claws' on its wings reveal the rockets they conceal, which then fire in a barrage that homes in on enemies. this is more effective against one enemy, as they tend to have a hard time deciding which target to attack in groups, and are susceptible to becoming friendly fire. about a jet-plane-like dragon that can fly at incredibly high speeds. it has great power, but almost every one of its battle techniques can be double-edged swords if it isn't careful. it is renowned for its heroic personality and deeds.

There are 4 themes you can choose from each day and you can check them here or under the cut. Doesn’t matter which type of fanwork you use, everything goes although we want to keep this blog SFW so please, please don’t do porn.
