im sorry,is it just me that feels like millie's insecurity came out of no where? sure,she is a country imp,i get where the feeling of being loved only for your strenght comes from,but i think it would have been more fitting if her problem was not feeling recognized for the work she does,like we alredy saw in ep5 s2 "unhappy campers"

she wasnt upset because moxxie was seeing only the strong,unbrekable part in her,because he saw her only as a muscle.She was upset because the work she was putting into this mission and her talent wasnt beign recognized by her own husbad

Vivzie could have easely made millie blitz's best friend because he recognized her talent and saw her efforts and appreciated it and it would have fitted in the lore perfectly,cuz now unhappy campers feels more of an episode for blitz development than for millie and moxxie

tbh,It feels like Viv went like "how do i make millie interesting..mhh..ah,yea,lets make up an issue that was never hinted for the character to have and appeared out of nowhere!",its kind of disappointing.

Mentioned this to to @/roseofcards90 already but I just realized Why I don’t think Amane would be exactly like Kotoko if she grew older and lost hope.

The answer is Es Quest would happen but more specifically- It’s cause Amane as a character is fundementally built on this iron-clad faith and hope in both the world and herself. “Unstoppable, unbrekable Magic” its one of her most defining character traits. Amane’s will to fight is Built on that Hope. It’s deeply important to who she is a person.

Kotoko is disillusioned and hopeless (especially when it comes to concepts like love and mercy) she’s deeply cynical in that sense, but she fights Anyway because even if it is Hopeless she has to try anyway. That’s where she builds her will to fight.

An Amane that loses hope is one who’s given up on fighting.
