CLASSIFICATION OF SCHOOL RECORDS
The school keeps many records which could be classified into two:
1) Statutory Records
2) Non-Statutory Records.
Statutory Records
These are records prescribed by the education law/edict. They are records, which must be kept in all schools in the education system. Statutory records are therefore mandatory and each school is expected to present them on demand to constituted authorities.
Non-Statutory Records
Are records considered useful by the school for Internal consumption. They are not mandatory but voluntarily kept by the school, because of their functional value. It is not legally binding that a school must keep them but it is used for the day to day running of the school.
The Statutory Records:
1) The Class Attendance Register
The register is a book in which the presence and absence of pupils/students in the school is recorded on daily basis.
2) The Dairy (Teacher's Record of Work)
Used for recording what has been done at the end of the week and what is recorded is actually what the teacher has completed. It is a weekly assignment.
3) The Admission Register
This record is been kept by the head of school. It contains details of every child admitted by the school.
4) The Log Book
This is a confidential record, which is kept by the principal or school head. No unauthorized person has access to it. The log book is the most secret book taking care of the teachers and students and what they have been doing.
The log book is used in recording events like absence from duty by any staff member including the head and visits to school by important personnel. Since the log book contains vital and confidential information or records, it must be well preserved. When properly kept, the log book serves as a historical record.
5) Staff Records
This record contains staff details such as name of staff, sex age, permanent address, qualifications with dates obtained, area of specialization, date of resumption of duty, marital status, number of children, present salary, promotion tabulated in years, date of resignation from school, salary on leaving, reasons for leaving, last pay certificate (LPC), state of origin, local government area of origin and home town.
6) Corporal Punishment Book
Corporal punishment refers to punishment by whipping, beating or inflicting physical injury on the body of the child. This is to protect pupils/students from unnecessary or unreasonable punishment by teachers. The book also protects teachers from being unjustly criticized by parents, education authorities and general public.
7) Financial Records
These include cash book, receipt booklet, account book, account ledger, invoices and receipts for payment.
8) Official Correspondence File
This must be kept by the school head for security purposes. All official letters received must be file accordingly, and photocopy with acknowledge copy of letters sent out must be filed.
9) Student Academic Records (Continuous Assessment Records)
This an essential conventional records that must be kept for every class in the school. The record contains information on performance in class tests, assignments, terminal and annual promotion examination.
10) The Time Table (Master Time Table)
It regulates the school heartbeat. It is also an invaluable piece of paper in which subjects taught in the school and each class is documented, break period and when the day's work is to end. Also, it shows the time and the lessons for each day of the week and the teachers to teach those subjects.
11) Examination Records
These records contain all examination taken by the students both external and internal examination.
12) The School Budget Book
This is not available in most schools because of obvious reasons. Schools hardly budget, so why keep a budget register? The budget states estimated income and proposed expenditure.
A school that fails to make a budget, lacks financial control.
13) Lesson Notes and Plan
Just as the scheme of work is drawn from the syllabus so is the lesson note or plan drawn from the scheme of work.
Lesson notes/plan demand that teachers should select topics from the scheme of work and write very clear lessons with specific and measurable objectives. It demands that teachers should show evidence of previous knowledge possessed by pupils, which are relevant to the new lesson (entry behavior). A breakdown of the lesson content into step by step logical sequence and indicating the expected pupils/teachers activities in the course of the lesson (content development).
14) Time Book
This is a simple register which provides columns for date, serial numbers, name of staff, time in, signature, time out, signature and remark. It helps to check truancy, punctuality and the duration of a staff in the school for each school day.
15) Visitor's Book
This is a book in which the visitors who pay any visit to the school may sign on arrival and before leaving the school.
16) Testimonial and Transfer Certificate Book
Is a record that keeps the testimonial and transfer certificate of each student who is leaving the school.
17) The National Policy on Education
This document is a compendium of the nation's objectives, educational philosophy and goals. It spells out clearly the ends to be realized at each level and type of education and prescribes how those ends are to be realized.
18) Minutes of Meeting
This should be kept in files or in note books provided for that purpose. Minutes of meetings expected to be kept in schools include staff meetings, board of governors or directors, PTA, etc.
19) Conduct Book
It covers punishment and commendation records on pupils. The punishment section of this record usually covers the date, name and class of pupils, offence covered. The conduct book protect the child from aggressive teachers and protect the teachers from noisy parents.
20) Records of Pupil's Personal Hygiene
This is a record of how pupils take care of their bodies and clothes. The cleanliness of the month, teeth and nails; in fact, the entire body and uniforms worn are assessed and recorded.
21) Ex-Students' Records
An ex-student might come visiting the school in search of testimonial, referee report or statement of result. Non availability of records on the student or difficulty in supplying the information sought can be frustrating and disgusting.
22) Records of Clubs
Clubs activities, list of members, coordinating staff and patrons should be itemized in detail.
23) Duty Roster
Duties assigned to teachers and prefects should be documented, as well as the problems encountered in the discharge of the said duties.
24) Staff Movement Book
This is a record of the movement of staff for each school day. Provisions are made for serial number, name of staff, date, time left, destination, time expected back and signature.
The document is useful in accounting for the whereabouts of school staff, especially during the visit of school inspector/supervisors. It also helps the school management in locating staff incase of emergency.
25) Fees Register
This register can be physical or computerized. It reflects fees collected from each child per class.
26) Inventory or Stock Book
This includes the record of movable and immovable assets, consumables and non-consumable items such as school library, laboratory, furniture, game facilities, home economics, building and teaching facilities.
27) Weekly Report Book
It is used by a teacher on duty in the week to record down what happened in the school compound during the week.
28) Inspection Report Book/File
This records should contain discussions, observation and recommendation and conference held between visiting supervisors and school staff. This record represents an important reference point for school Improvement.
29) Record of Building and Physical Development in School
Each school is expected to keep a copy of the school survey and building plan. There should also be a site plan that shows all survey posts or pillars to demarcate the school boundaries against land speculators who may have trespass intention.
30) Records of Games and Sporting Activities
Records should be kept on each sporting activities offered in the school. Special attention should be paid on student's performance on each game, including sports' records for each sporting year.
31) Progress Records
Each class should have a progress record. A big book is often used this purpose. The record shows the list of subjects offered in the class, detailed of the performance of each student in class tests and terminal examinations in all subjects, marks scored in each subject, total marks, average marks based on the total number of subjects offered, students position in each subject and student overall position in class.
32) Individual Record Card
This contains a comprehensive information about a student. It contains the same kind of general information found in the admission register. If a student transfers to another school, a copy of this card can be sent to the new school.
PROTECTION OF SCHOOL RECORDS
These school records mentioned above can be protected.
However, school records must be protected from fire hazards, theft and deterioration. Their importance is so great that often a time, it is prescribed by law for their preservation.

The Change
Written by: @alliswell21
Prompt 59: Growing up Peeta started loving her. It was a gradual thing that happened throughout his childhood and into his teens. But something changes when he hits puberty. Her scent has heightened, he can spot her from miles away. He gets a bit possessive. But the biggest thing is when his body starts to heat up and even just the thought of you gets him hard for days. He finds out the family secret of his werewolf genes, something his parents thought passed him. How can he go by with his day and be with her without scaring her away by humping her because of his heat. [submitted by @animekpopxx]

Author’s Note: I really tried to write this as a one shot, but since the quarantine brought my husband and kids to work/do schooling from home, I’ve been busier than ever… and I really wanted to have something to post before the exchange was over. So here’s the first part of this story, around 2500 words.
As always, thank you to the moderators of the Exchange, you ladies are terrific as usual. Thank you to @animekpopxx for her awesome prompts, I swear your prompts are my catnip and kryptonite rolled into one.
Heads Up, there’s no verbal interaction between Everlark in this chapter.
Stay safe, everyone. Enjoy!
Chapter One:
Is ten fifteen in the morning when I start feeling feverish and thirsty. We’re in the middle of a social studies test, and I can’t keep from squirming in my chair, shaking the whole desk everytime I try to hold on to it for stability.
I catch the teacher’s eye and wince when she screeches in her affected accent for me to stop twitching.
I try to tell her I can’t help it, but before I get one word out she’s flying upon me from her own desk at the very front of the class.
“Mr. Mellark, you have exactly 5 seconds to—“ she gasps when her cold hand grasps my shoulder like a crow’s claw. “You’re burning up, Mellark!” She sounds concerned for a Capitolite, but by the way she extracts her bony hand from me, I have to think I must be burning through my thin cotton shirt. “Why did you even come to school if you were so sick, boy?” She snaps eyeing me suspiciously.
Against my better judgement, I roll my eyes. “We have a test, Ms. Greer.”
“A note from your father would’ve suffice.” She snips.
“I didn’t feel sick this morning.” I explain, embarrassed when my voice cracks lamely and the other kids try to hide their quiet chuckles, so the teacher doesn’t turn on them. The boys in my year have already grown into their adult voices, and some of them even have facial hair. Not me. I still sound and look like a baby. “I don’t feel sick right now.” I almost whine, which actually disproves my statement, because I’ve never whined about anything; whining it’s a sure way to get on my mother’s bad side, so is the first thing we Mellark’s learn to suppress and avoid at all costs.
Ms. Greer huffs impatiently, “Well, you have a terribly high fever, and you’re starting to sweat all over the place, Mr. Mellark. I’m going to have to ask you to go home until you are well again. The last thing this district needs is some epidemic tearing everything apart.” She sniffs out the last phrase, probably more concerned about missing her fat paychecks every week she stands here feeding us Capitol propaganda that’s supposed to pass as schooling, than actually worried about the district’s well being.
I try to protest about the missing the test, but this time Ms. Greer rolls her eyes and waves me off, saying that I can make it up with a two page report on coal production and its impact in District 12’s economy… as if she herself doesn’t know that our local industry is a joke, District 12 is still the poorest district in Panem, even after the Reformation a few years back, when the Capitol dissolved the Hunger Games and promised to open fair Inter District negotiations. It never happened, at least not with us, yet the whole country uses our coal.
Ms. Greer’s glaring at me though, so I pack up and start shuffling out of the classroom, only stopping to grab a note she hands me to bring to the front office.
As I footslog to the door, strange things happen that startle the shit out of me: first, a rush of smells like pine needles, sun and wildflowers invade my nose leaving me disoriented and frenzied; is a combination like nothing I’ve smelled before, but somehow, instinctively my eyes lock with the gray orbs of Katniss Everdeen, who somehow I know in my bones is the owner of the aromas filling my nostrils— I already knew she was sitting there of course, I deliberately chose my seat so I could steal glances at her long, dark braid, during class, but… I’ve never stared at her so boldly and openly, and for a moment I think she is staring at me with some interest… concern, maybe? It’s gone as soon as her gorgeous eyes fly away. That’s when the third thing happens. I growl deep and low at her dismissal, a possessive and animalistic sound that rumbles in my chest, making the rest of our classmates stare at me… great! As if the other kids need any more reasons to giggle and whisper behind my back.
I’m the shortest boy in my class; I still have what can be considered as baby fat in this District, holding on to my thick frame, and while my older brothers are wrestling champions, I’m too heavy and uncoordinated to wrestle myself. Is not that I’m at any risk of being bullied or anything, I learned to be witty and funny a long time ago as a self preservation mechanism, and everyone likes me well enough, but I still don’t want to give anyone any munition to use against me.
Yet, I can barely control the noise rumbling in the back of my throat, an worst of all, I’m fighting this unbearable urge to stomp to Katniss’ desk and plant myself there until she turns her eyes back to mine and acknowledges me.
She scowls at her notebook and rubs her nose with her knuckle. There’s a spike of some strange smell— reminds me of discomfort, I think— mingling in with her original scent, and that’s what finally makes me snap to reality, and force my legs to trudge to the office to get me an official excuse for missing school for the next few days.
I’m loathe to admit it, but I’m itching so badly all over my body, I’m glad Ms. Greer kicked me out of class for having a fever. I don’t feel sick, but the itching is just killing me, and I want out of my clothes now… maybe a layer or two of my skin as well, but that just sounds kinda gross.
To my surprise, when I arrive home, Mother’s hands stay put at her sides instead of flying up to scoff the side of my head for skipping school, as if I where stupid enough to come home if I was skipping for real. She looks at me oddly though, almost like she’s sad or disappointed I came down with this fever.
Father on the other hand, looks mildly alarmed for a moment, but after feeling my forehead, he cups my face and pulls the skin under my eyes downwards with the pad of his thumbs, tilting my head around like he’s checking their health. Then his thumbs let go of my cheekbones and hike up the skin over my upper lip, bearing my teeth to him. He tilts my head again studying my mouth like I’m some prized pony he’s hoping to buy. His thumbs slide the length of my canines and then prods the tip for sharpness. An uncharacteristic blank expression takes his face, then he nods seemingly done with his examination or whatever he was doing; he lets go of my face and asks in his usual, quiet voice, “Are you hungry?”
My stomach growls in response. I’m surprised at the sudden feeling of voracious appetite unfurling in my belly. “Yeah.” I mutter, watching him pin the school note to the board by the bakery door with all the operational permits, just in case someone comes asking about me missing school. The Hunger Games might be abolished, but school attendance is still compulsory and any unauthorized absences are punishable by hefty fines, no one can afford to pay.
Father points at the dining table with a thick finger, and I sit down heavily in my usual chair. I’m very surprised when out of nowhere, my mother plops a plate heaped high with food— mostly fresh stuff too— but I ignore the serving of vegetables and the freshly baked roll, in favor of the few meats lining the plate. I know Mother keeps certain meats she can reheat and repurposed in other meals, so it’s disconcerting seeing this abundance in front of me.
I only pause to look up at my parents standing side by side near the wall, watching me eat with some strange interest.
“Eat, Peeta, before the food gets too cold,” My mother orders without her usual verb when they notice I’m staring back.
I dig in unceremoniously, inhaling first a piece of goat meat, then a pigeon leg, and lastly a bite of fried squirrel that somehow makes me growl as soon as my teeth sink into the morsel. There’s an overwhelming taste of pine needles and flowery woods mixed in with the savory flavor of the squirrel; my mind is suddenly full of images of a long, dark braid swishing against a brown leather jacket.
“More squirrel!” I demand in a grunt.
My father’s eyebrows arch for a second, and again my mother is the one to bring a piece of meat, no bigger than the pigeon leg I just ate, and tosses it on my empty plate.
I throw myself at it like a savage beast.
“After you’re done eating, you can go lay down.” Says my mother flatly.
  Well, now I’m worried!
My eyes snap at my parents, anxiously. “Why?” I ask cowed.
The last time my mother encouraged any of us to rest during a work day was… never. They did send my middle brother to stay with our aunt once; he had chicken-pox. My brother got to stay in bed for as long as he wanted, until he wasn’t contagious anymore and Mother dragged him back home.
My father sighs, “So you can sleep off your fever, son. You can’t handle dough while you’re sick. We could get fined for a safety code violation. If the peacekeepers think you’re working while sick, we could get in a lot of trouble.”
“Oh… okay.” I’m relieved. But I still have to ask, “And you’re both alright with that?”
My mother snorts. “Eat up, Peeta. Then go to bed. We’ll see how you do in the morning.” She crosses her arms over her chest and shakes her head, dislodging a few blonde hairs from the tight bun at her nape. She leaves the room muttering to herself something about not being ready for any of this shit, leaving my father to stare at me alone.
We just stay there, mutely watching each other for a second.
“You like the squirrel meat best?” He asks, awkwardly pointing at the piece of food still clutched in my fingers.
“Yeah. I mean, everything is tasty, but this stuff is just great.” I take a big bite out of my piece to illustrate, and as soon as the flavors invade my mouth, I shudder involuntarily, even body parts that usually lay dormant during meals stir at the thought of the huntress this particular animal came from.
My father makes a noise at the back of his throat, then he asks, “How are you feeling? Any weariness? Tiredness? Lethargy?”
I shake my head, “Nah. I actually feel great. I feel like I should be outside chopping wood, or running laps for wrestling practice.” It’s true too, even the itchiness driving me insane earlier, is gone.
  Father’s eyebrows arch, “Wrestling, huh?”
I shrug and go back to finish up my lunch. It’s the first time I’ve actually voiced my interest in the sport, but I don’t know why it should come as a shock? After all, everyone in town knows Mellark’s are somewhat legacy wrestlers.
“Well, we can figure it out if you still feel so energetic after your nap.” Father says before making his way back to the bakery, leaving me to my own devices.
I finish up my meal, returning to the icebox the vegetables and bread I didn’t eat, then wash my plate and put it away. Sick or not, Mother would throw a fit if there is a dirty dish in the sink when she comes back to the apartment.
I lay down, not expecting to find sleep since I’m so wired up. I’m tempted to fetch my sketchbook— really, it’s just a bunch of scrap paper I’ve put together in an ancient folder I keep under my mattress— and draw for beat, but I’m a 16 year old boy… lay in bed, idly. My mind wanders back to the stupefying smell I’m convinced belongs to Katniss Everdeen, and as usual, thoughts of her lead to stirrings in my nether regions, only this time my body heat increases to furnace temperatures, my mouth goes dry as a bone, my skin itches like crazy and I’m trembling with aching want like never before.
I don’t understand what the hell is wrong with me, but I only start to panic when my dick starts swelling in my trousers, and it keeps growing and growing and growing, until the crotch of my pants feels like it’s shrunk three sizes on my body. I tear at the buttons until the fly is open and hastily try pulling myself out of my boxers, but goddamned near impossible to do, and I desperately shove at bottoms freeing myself after squeezing and twisting like a maniac.
I’m a little disturbed at how purple and swollen my dick looks. There’s some kind of protuberance bulging at the base of my cock. I’ve never noticed it before, and I’m freaking out it may be some nerve end or some of those tiny veins that pop when pressured… I silently beg the universe my I didn’t break my dick while pawing at it to pull it out. I’m still pulsing with want, and my brain is screaming to go back to remembering the aroma of pine needles and freedom that’s Katniss… but at the same time, I can’t unsee the strange meaty ring at the base of my dong.
I bring my fingers to it apprehensively. I’m curious, so I poke it and hiss at the zap of pleasure I felt as soon as my fingertips grazed the turgid skin.
I chance another touch, just to see if I can recreate the sensation, and moan pitifully at the feeling. The head of my cock bobs dripping precome. I close my eyes and wrap my hand around myself, so I don’t have to look at how angry red my penis is. Images of Katniss come unbidden into my mind’s eyes, and before I know it, I’m pumping my fists and groaning like a wounded animal, lost in sensation.
I can’t keep a rhythm to save my life, but as soon as the heel of my hand makes contact with the strange, swollen ring around my cock, my body jerks violently; I double over at the waist, gasping, “Katniss!” Just as cum starts pouring out of me like a fucking fountain.
I saw a kid in school convulsing once, it scared the shit out of me then, and the way I’m twitching and spamming in bed right now, vaguely reminds me of it. I wonder if this is what it would feel like to convulse?
My cock is still spewing ribbons of semen in every direction, but my erection keeps hardening and swelling; I try pinching the head of my penis to staunch the flow of cum to no avail and I’m getting anxious and scared enough, I consider calling my father for help, but the mess in my bed is embarrassing, and I can’t stop eyaculating. Suddenly, out of nowhere my mind is conjuring up memories of that sweet smell of Katniss’.
The phantom smell of pine and flowers tickles the roof of my mouth and start panting into my pillow. I’m lightheaded and out of breath, copious sweat covers my entire body and an overwhelming need to squeeze the base of my cock takes over my body. My hand wraps around the weird protruberance above my pelvic bone and I fucking howl on contact.
My vision goes dark, and I only have one more thought before passing out: “I have got to hide this filthy mess from Mother.”
  To be continued…

It’s finally here! Here’s my piece for the BNHA Flash Bang. It’s an Asylum AU where UA is an asylum and BNHA Canon is just Izuku’s hallucination. Needless to say, this is pretty dark so please take heed of the warnings carefully. Read at AO3 for some story notes.
Many thanks to @bnhaflashbang for organizing this bang and to @creativebluegalaxy for working on the wonderful art for this fic! ^^

Title: corrupted lens; [AO3 link]
Summary: Midoriya Izuku’s life changes when the Number One Hero tells him he can be a hero. Taken as his protégé, Izuku trains under All Might and manages to get into UA—the best hero school in the world! But that is just the beginning, for a big evil is rising from the shadows, threatening the world of heroes.
(Aizawa Shouta is tired. Of all his current patients at Ulysses Asylum, no one gives him more sleepless nights than Midoriya Izuku, the boy who was kidnapped and tortured by the infamous serial killer All Might—the boy who went missing for ten months and never came back.)
Rating: Teen and Up
Ship: None
Warnings: Mentions of Rape/Non-Con, Underage, Injury, Implied/Referenced Child Abuse, Kidnapping, Violence, Implied/Referenced Torture, Stockholm Syndrome and Mentally Ill Characters

When Izuku wakes up, he doesn’t expect to be greeted by the familiar white walls of the infirmary.
He could only blink sluggishly, disoriented as he is, trying to remember what happened before he fell asleep. Did he get injured in another battle simulation? Izuku winces at the thought. If that is indeed the case, then that means he broke his promise again. Didn’t Recovery Girl say she won’t use her quirk on him if he injured himself again? All Might must be so disappoi—
(A body destroyed by a fierce fight, sickly and emaciated, yet still standing tall.)
All… Might…
(An arm stretching outwards, worn from battle but never wavering.)
All Might?
(An ever-present grin, somehow embodying both encouragement and promise.)
Where are you—?
(“You’re next.”)
“All Might!” Izuku screamed.
The sudden influx of memories is nothing short of torturous. Not only do they remind him of the heavy weight of the mantle his mentor has left him to carry, but the fact that the reign of All Might has ended fills him with despair.
One by one and all at once, Izuku can’t tell which emotions emerge and where they end. Anger, sadness, heartbreak—fear like no other. All Might is gone. His hero may not be dead, but already the world feels bleaker; Izuku can feel the gaping hole the Symbol of Peace has left behind deep in his bones.
Izuku can only cry and cry, grieving the loss of his hero. He mourns the man who saved his life, who encouraged his dreams when no one else did, who believed in him no matter what, and who taught him how to live for other’s sake—how to be a hero.
His mom, his teachers, his classmates—not a single one of them believed he could achieve his dreams, that Izuku could be special. One by one, they broke him down, until only a sliver of hope remained.
But All Might gave him a chance, and as hard as his training was, All Might had given him more hope than anyone else has. Now that he’s passing on the baton, Izuku shouldn’t cower—he should bravely answer his call.
Now more than ever, the people need a hero to look up to, to keep them safe; they need a Symbol of Peace. Determined, he bats away the fear and loneliness that restrains him from moving forward.
With All Might’s power residing in me, I can’t lose.

“… to break curfew but Kacchan was in danger, Sensei. We had to save him, and it was the only way…”
“We managed to put him under.”
Shouta looks up at Shuuzenji-san’s entrance, pausing the video. Her usually immaculate hairdo’s in disarray, probably from rushing to Midoriya’s room. Shouta was just watching the recording of yesterday’s session when Midoriya, who was asleep, suddenly started screaming.
“Hopefully, this doesn’t happen again,” she continues, “but if he wakes up this violently once more, we’d have no choice but to restrain him in his sleep too.”
“Did he hurt himself?”
“No, but he did manage to punch the orderlies holding him down and wake the other residents.” She eyes him sternly. “Speaking of sleep, when was the last time you had some, young man?”
Shouta sighs, fully aware of what she sees. The panda eyes, the scruffy face, the littered coffee cups and strewn out sleeping bag—the room has all the evidence for a typical Aizawa Overnighter. He’s been up for almost 57 hours, but she doesn’t have to know that. He just has to last a few more hours before he can finally pass out.
“Had no choice,” he grunts, resolutely turning back to the computer. “Someone has to keep an eye on Ward 1A before the patients try to break out again.”
He hears her sigh behind him but she doesn’t argue further as she sits next to him. It’s hard to put up too much fuss when this is already the second incident this week. Patients escaping is already a cause for alarm, but a mentally-unstable criminal breaking into their facility? Even worse. No one even realized he was in the building until the guards were alerted that someone unauthorized was attempting to access Midoriya’s room.
Shouta clenches his fist, immediate anger springing up at the thought of the vile man. Hasn’t he destroyed that boy’s life enough?
When Shouta first took Midoriya Izuku as his patient, he never thought it would be easy—but he never expected it to be this hard.
Shouta first heard about Midoriya in the news, whose case had blown up in the media. A fourteen-year-old boy who vanished on his way home from school, the police were notified of his disappearance a full week after he went missing—and only because Midoriya’s teacher called his mother to inquire about his absence. By then, it was assumed the boy committed suicide after evidence of bullying and domestic violence (to which Midoriya Inko is currently serving jail time for) came to light. But when investigators found no body, the missing boy’s estranged father Midoriya Hisashi insisted on continuing the search.
That’s when the letters started to appear.
Signed by All Might—the serial killer most known for the Musutafu Massacre where he videotaped himself laughing as he set off multiple bombs placed under a commercial district, killing hundreds and injuring more—the case got more notorious. For the first time since his apparent “retirement” five years ago, the criminal once again resurfaced like the boogeyman. He sent pictures and videos of him “training” Midoriya to become his “successor”, laughing menacingly as he repeatedly abused the boy, both physically and sexually, until he passed out.
It took ten months before they found him, and even then All Might was already long gone. Evidence of malnutrition, incorrectly-healed bones, head trauma, multiple lacerations, and fresh traces of semen were found on Midoriya. After his brief stint at Musutafu General Hospital, he was immediately placed in Ulysses Asylum (better known as ‘UA’) by his father, in the hopes of his son’s recovery.
Shouta immediately knew something was strange during their first session. Midoriya’s eyes were slightly unfocused, despite the sedatives having already left his system. He spoke of “quirks” as special abilities instead of behavioral habits, of becoming a “hero” and defeating “villains”—concepts that Shouta knew to be fantasy but Midoriya believed as truth. It’s like his brain has been completely rewritten to view the world as a superpowered society—like a corrupted lens that obscures his eyes from the full truth.
Though he’s aware of his surroundings to a point, his brain filters any fact that doesn’t align with its version of reality. Midoriya would talk fondly about his abusive mother making him his favorite food, gush about his kidnapper helping him make his dreams come true, about the patients in Ward 1A and how they’re all training to become heroes.
Midoriya Izuku views the world like a comic book where he is its protagonist—the once powerless boy who will become the greatest hero. After the abuse and trauma he experienced, it’s the only way his brain could cope.
Aside from that and a self-sacrificing streak that borders on self-harm, there’s technically nothing wrong with him. During his stay, he’s managed to demonstrate his high IQ, make friends, and encourage a few tight-lipped patients to open up more. Though there’s been little progress in realigning Midoriya’s “worldview”, the fact that he’s responding well to his stay here is already a big leap forward.
That is until five days ago, when All Might broke into UA. More than ten people in the staff were injured driving that lunatic away from Midoriya, including Yamada, who Shouta usually switches shifts with. Hence, the ridiculous overtime.
At least the bastard’s finally in police custody, Shouta thinks, recalling the reveal of the man’s identity on the news. As unbiased as he should be, seeing Yagi Toshinori in cuffs brings both relief and vicious satisfaction. It’s a big cause for celebration everywhere—to finally have the monster responsible for many murders right where he belongs.
But that doesn’t mean all is well.
Seeing Yagi must have triggered something in Midoriya; why else would he have tried to escape after months of clean behavior? And now it seems like he’s beginning to act out even more. The only question is why.
Shouta sighs. The Midoriya on the screen just looks at him beseechingly, wrapped up in the straitjacket they put him in after leading an escape attempt with some of the other patients.
This problem child will be the death of him.

Spring Gala
Good day and good evening, Fellow Students!
The 9th marked the grand Spring Gala of the Eorzean Garden, during which a number of announcements were made.
The first and foremost, Headmaster Cardief proclaimed that the theme of this semester is to be, drumroll please...
TEAMWORK!
This was followed by a reminder of the general rules, marked as follows:
-Check weapons at the door -You can both earn and lose points for your house
He went on to welcome Sakiyo Daisho and Vincent, a former student as members of the staff with the former teaching Alchemy and the latter teaching Magitek.
From there, the Headmaster turned to other news. We are pleased to introduce a new rank this semester; Junior Captain. The rank is a trial position meant to help cultivate students to be ready to be house captains. The positions may change at any given time and new students may express an interest in these positions by talking with their house supervisors. They will take one additional person from each house into consideration. Junior captains will assist the House Captains in their duties.
Next on the roster was a call for members, as the Garden Committee has openings. They are responsible for planning a monthly social for the entire school. Please consider signing up if you like parties and socializing!
The Headmasters final announcement for the night was one that sparked many a confused and concerned mumble amongst the crowd. He can be quoted as saying "After consideration from SeeD and the staff on the Academy side, the five Garleans that were captured will be enrolled as students starting this semester. Please welcome them, as we would any who needs to catch a break in challenging times. Thank you."
What this will mean for the future, is anyone's guess.
Akira took the stage shortly after, and introduced himself as a graduate and Captain within SeeD. This semester, it seems he will be assisting in mentorships alongside the standard SeeD members. While not tied to a specific house, he will offer lessons based on personal experience. He will also continue in his capacity as a Captain.
Lt. Commander Tua spoke next, introducing himself as the head of Cobalt Leviathan and invited Z'tasia up onto the stage with him. After a short speech on the purpose of Cobalt, he turned the floor over to the House Captain. Z'tasia can be quoted as saying it was a privilege to help the students gain the knowledge to move them forward in their studies at the school and in life in general.
SeeD Captain Finriel, the head of House Onyx Ouroboros, stepped up after to deliver a speech of her own and invite Gelsey - the House Captain of Onyx - up with her. Together, they proclaimed Alexia to be their Junior Captain.
Commander Laguna Lestrange spoke next and requested House Captain Regi to join him on the stage. Together they named Serali as their Junior Captain.
There was a brief interlude for food, and the deviled eggs were particularly delicious.
Once the interlude was concluded, the Top Brass went into greater detail about house points, which will be summarized in the following points;
Gain
-Win competitions -Personal achievements -Turning in assignments on time -Being to class on time -Providing assistance to new students -General good behaviour -Volunteer -Be respectful
Loss (1-5) -Not wearing your uniform to class -Insubordination to superiors -Unauthorized weapons in spars -Disrespecting teachers and staff -Defacing property (School or otherwise) (2) -Unexcused absences. (5) -Cheating on class assignments and competitions (10) -Unnecessary killing
Once this was clear, it was time for students to be sorted into their houses! This method required mild attunement to a crystal, which then turned the colour of the appropriate house. Once everyone was sorted, the Headmaster had a few final words for the evening!
"I don't want to take up any further time tonight, but please do know that I am very much looking forward to the coming semester, and I'm really looking forward to getting to know all of the new students. So please, enjoy the rest of the evening together and getting to know each other. And don't feel shy about dancing! Enjoy and welcome to Eorzea Gardens!"
What followed was a night of dancing and feasting, the likes of which come naturally once a year.
Pictures to follow.

10 BIG REASONS WHY YOUR COLLEGE NEEDS A CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
As the needs of the education industry change, we see a trend in schools and colleges adapting and upgrading to classroom management systems to keep up with the demands of the current times. Selection of a robust state-of-the-art classroom management system can be challenging for a college administration. Long gone are the days when there were debates on the need of a college management tool to manage a college; with new and the globally acclaimed best institutions using technology for their administration and management, there is a rising trend for the others to upgrade themselves on one.
If you are an academic institution, the key benefits and features that you should look for in a solution should be ease of use and organizing the daily tasks of administration and teaching staff and something that helps the college management to make decisions. The scope of a platform should not just be limited to the internal administration and management but also the college’s transaction with the students and parents to build transparent, effective and easy communication.
Here are the top 10 reasons why you need a classroom management system:
Easy to use An integrated college management tool is user friendly and can be accessed from anywhere and , both online or offline. Web browsing and a mobile app makes it easy to access while on-the-go. The increased dependency on mobile phones is on the rise, and with this, your college management tool should be equipped with an app so that staff or student or management can access their data on-the-go.
Cost efficient Reduce your operational costs through effective software that supports cloud services, along with the capability to include multiple campuses and locations.
Speed, accuracy & reliability An effective classroom management system enables not only increased speed and accuracy in storing and input of data, but also in sharing and analyzing the same in a much more effective way, thus driving high performance.

Britain Has A Problem With Dance Exams
Students aren't supposed to have "unauthorized absences," but what could be more authorized than students taking school-approved dance, music, theatre and other arts exams? Apparently, a lot of things. "Leaving school for a dance exam is not exceptional, it's actually quite routine that children leave to take a dance or drama exam outside school and then come back." But many head teachers simply don't agree.

iOS and Android shortcomings permit stealthy appropriating of site accreditations Researchers approach Apple and Google to relieve "source crossing" attacks.
Computer researchers have revealed building shortcomings in both the iOS and Android versatile working frameworks that make it feasible for programmers to take delicate client information and login accreditations for famous email and capacity administrations.
Both OSes neglect to guarantee that program treats, archive records, and other touchy substance from one Internet area are forbidden to scripts controlled by a moment address without unequivocal authorization, as indicated by a simply distributed scholarly paper from researchers at Microsoft Research and Indiana University. The purported same-source arrangement is a central security instrument upheld by desktop programs, however the assurance is woefully lost from numerous iOS and Android applications. To exhibit the danger, the specialists conceived a few hacks that complete alleged cross-website scripting (XSS) and cross-webpage ask for imitation (CSRF) assaults to surreptitiously download client information from handsets.
The most genuine of the assaults taken a shot at both iOS and Android gadgets and required just that an end-client tap on a booby-caught interface in the official Google Plus application. In the background, a script sent directions that brought on a content editing application known as PlainText to send archives and content contribution to a Dropbox account controlled by the scientists. The assault conflicted with different applications, including TopNotes and Nocs.
"The issue here is that iOS and Android don't have this birthplace based security to manage the connections between those applications and between an application and another application's Web content," XiaoFeng Wang, a teacher in Indiana University's School of Informatics and Computing, told Ars. "Therefore, we demonstrate that sources can be crossed and the same XSS and CSRF can happen." The paper, titled Unauthorized Origin Crossing on Mobile Platforms: Threats and Mitigation, was as of late acknowledged by the twentieth ACM Conference on Computer and Communications Security.
Every one of your accreditations have a place with us
The Plaintext application in this exhibit video was not designed to work with Dropbox. Yet, regardless of the possibility that the application had been set up to associate with the capacity benefit, the assault could make it interface with the assailant's record as opposed to the true blue record having a place with the client, Wang said. Every one of that was required was for the iPad client to tap on the vindictive connection in the Google Plus application. In the analysts' examinations, Android gadgets were helpless to a similar assault.
A different arrangement of assaults could recover the multi-character security tokens Android applications use to get to private records on Facebook and Dropbox. Once the qualifications are uncovered, assailants could utilize them to download photographs, reports, or other delicate records put away in the online administrations. The assault, which depended on a noxious application as of now introduced on the handset, misused the absence of same-starting point approach requirement to sidestep Android's "sandbox" security insurance. Google engineers expressly composed the system to keep one application from having the capacity to get to program treats, contacts, and other delicate substance made by another application unless a client abrogates the confinement.
All assaults portrayed in the 12-page paper have been affirmed by Dropbox, Facebook, and the other outsider sites whose applications were tried, Wang said. The vast majority of the vulnerabilities have been settled, yet as a rule the patches were to a great degree difficult to create and took months to execute. The researchers went ahead to make a proof-of-idea application they called Morbs that gives OS-level security over all applications on an Android gadget. It works by marking each message with data about its source and could make it less demanding for engineers to indicate and implement security approaches in view of the destinations where security tokens and other delicate data start.
As specified before, desktop programs have long unflinchingly upheld a same-source arrangement that makes it unthinkable for JavaScript and other code from an area like evilhacker.com to get to treats or other touchy substance from a site like trustedbank.com. In the realm of versatile applications, the focal part of the program—and the guard benefit it gave—has to a great extent come unraveled. It's urging to realize that the engineers of the powerless applications considered this exploration so important. Facebook granted the scientists at any rate $7,000 in bounties (which the specialists given to philanthropy), and Dropbox offered important premium administrations in return for the private weakness report. Yet, contingent upon an interwoven of fixes from each application producer is dangerous given the trouble and time required in concocting patches.
A superior approach is for Apple and Google designers to actualize something like Morbs that works no matter how you look at it.
"Our examination demonstrates that without such insurance, the versatile channels can be effectively manhandled to increase unapproved access to a client's delicate assets," the specialists—who other than Wang, included Rui Wang and Shuo Chen of Microsoft and Luyi Xing of Indiana University—composed. "We discovered five cross-inception issues in mainstream [software advancement kits] and prominent applications, for example, Facebook and Dropbox, which can be abused to take their clients' confirmation certifications and other secret data, for example, "content" information. Additionally, without the OS bolster for starting point based assurance, not exclusively is application improvement appeared to be inclined to such cross-source blemishes, yet the designer may likewise experience difficulty settling the imperfections even after they are found."

U.K. Court Upholds Fine for Dad Who Took Child From School for Disney Trip
By Sewell Chan, NY Times, April 6, 2017
LONDON--A British man who took his daughter out of school without permission to visit Disney World in Florida broke the law and must pay a penalty, the British Supreme Court ruled on Thursday.
The case has been heavily debated in Britain, pitting as it did the rights of parents to raise their children as they see fit against stiff truancy laws in a nation where school attendance is compulsory.
The father, Jon Platt, had argued that the government’s case represented a vast overreach by the “nanny state.”
“You are not the final arbiter of what’s right for your child,” he said.
The Supreme Court’s 18-page ruling overturned two lower courts’ decisions in favor of Mr. Platt, finding that he had no right to take his daughter out of school without a valid reason, such as illness.
The case originated in January 2015, when Mr. Platt asked to take his daughter, then 6, on a vacation to Disney World.
The school refused permission. Nonetheless, Mr. Platt took his daughter on vacation from April 13 to 21, making her miss seven days of school. He was fined £120, about $180 at the time.
Mr. Platt sued, arguing that his daughter had an attendance rate of 95 percent before the vacation and 90.3 percent afterward. Noting that the school generally considered 90 percent to 95 percent to be satisfactory attendance, he said he had done nothing wrong.
A local magistrate agreed, as did an appeals court, but the local council took the case to the Supreme Court.
Writing for the court, Justice Brenda Hale ruled that the requirement that a student attend school “regularly” meant “in accordance with the rules prescribed by the school,” not, as Mr. Platt argued, “with sufficient regularity.”
The court went on: “It is not just that there is a clear statistical link between school attendance and educational achievement. It is more the disruptive effect of unauthorized absences.”
The effects, the judge wrote, include going over missed work, disturbing other students and setting back group learning. “Most of all,” the court found, “if one pupil can be taken out whenever it suits the parent, then so can others.”
Her ruling outlined the history of school attendance laws dating to 1870, when Parliament provided for the creation of public elementary schools and empowered local boards to require attendance by children ages 5 through 12.
British students can generally stop attending school at age 16, although in England students are required to continue some form of education, including apprenticeships, until 18.
Justice Hale also noted that in a separate case, in February 2015, Mr. Platt’s daughter’s mother was fined after the girl missed school for five days without authorization.
“The mother did exactly the same thing, was issued with a penalty notice and paid it,” the court noted.
Britain’s Education Department said in a statement on Thursday that it was pleased that the court had affirmed that “head teachers have the ability to decide when exceptional circumstances allow for a child to be absent.”
