Being anywhere near them made her uncomfortable, and it showed when the usually fearless child hid behind the other.      “I don’t like that thing over there....it’s mocking me,” she hissed as the bird Pokemon pecked at the ground, minding its own business.      “Can we fight it? Can we make it fly away?”

Kit’s glasses are halfway done his nose when he finally looks up from the computer monitor. His black hair is long and messy. Once he removes a headphone from his ear, he picks up a pompom to rub it. Although he’s nervous-looking and quiet, next to his computer monitor is a set of contest ribbons he’s won.

“Would you like to talk to my brother instead? Cameron knows a lot about pokemon. I only work on managing PC boxes and networks for Fiore.”

Gladion lingered by the contest building door, hesitating. He’d heard about contests but never actually participated in them. It’s not like any of his Pokemon on hand were beautiful. Were there other options than just beauty? What about powerful? No, that’d just be a Pokemon battle, right? Maybe he should stick to those instead.

He turned to leave, nudging Silvally along only to bump into a man with really teal blue hair. It was stunning really. He was fairly pretty too. Hm. That was an odd thought.

“Sorry.” He apologized to the man for bumping into him before he could think he was rude. “Are you alright?”

There was a hesitation as he contemplated typing what he actually wanted to. Would it come off as desperate? Would it come across as weak?

Shaky fingers typed out the message and he stared at it for a moment before he took a deep breath and hit send.
