There’s darkness at first.

And... A beeping? What’s making that beeping noise??

She opens her eyes, and looks up into a ceiling she doesn’t recognize. It certainly looked like the kind you’d find in a hospital, but... Why would she be in the hospital? As panic set in, she attempted to sit up, but her back didn’t seem to want that one bit, so back down she went. None of her limbs seemed to be cooperating, so she attempted to call out, but apparently there was an oxygen mask on her face? That’s strange.

Shortly after, two nurses, a doctor, and some kind of odd black and white Pokemon with horns dashed in, with the doctor asking questions about if she remembered who she was, or if she knew where she was. His voice sounded funny, though, like he was speaking with an accent that she just couldn’t place. As one of the nurses left the room, a rush of thoughts hit the patient’s head; Where were Chili and Cilan? Where was Hugh? Where were her Pokemon? How did she end up here? Why can she only remember the man with the fiery hair and... A really big bird Pokemon????

As Cress fell back asleep, a visor in the Hulbury PD’s contraband locker went PING!

[ FOUND IT! Sorry for vanishing again. Things are still kinda tumultuous right now. My brother and I got kicked outta the house, our stepmom miiiight’ve disowned us (hell if I know), and it’s all just very, very difficult at the mo’, and while I’m sure you’re all probably sick of me and my excuses, I just don’t have the muse for Cress at the moment. Hopefully this should be fixed soon?? I dunno. ]

As the dog sped off, Mable reached down and pulled a Dive Ball out of her high sock. The ball popped open, and Golly was once more unleashed upon the world, ready to defend Cre--er, Mable.

As if on command, one of the Ultra Balls on her belt released, and Bryony’s Houndoom put itself between the two women. One of them was on a fast track to getting gored, and for once, it wasn’t Mable.
