USM Ben Reilly x Reader Headcanons!

Established relationship (Bc writing meetings can be Hard™), starts before he's outed as a spy

Super protective of you as his partner

He knows that you could be used against him by either side, so tries to keep you close and under wraps

A hard combo, but he's not a very openly emotional guy

Not at the start, at least

Takes a lil bit for him to warm up to any kind of touch

Starts slow

Hand holding

Using you as an armrest

Ruffling your hair

Eventually he's a little more open, both emotionally and to touch

Gets better at saying "I love you"

Gives forehead kisses so he doesn't have to lean down as far

Thinks the "Spider-Man Kiss" is corny, but he'll do it if you ask

He only realizes how much he needs you once it's too late

When he gets the call from Peter, the first thing he does is ask for you

But you can't come

It's too far for Peter to get you from your place in so little time

Ben makes him promise to pass a message to you

The next morning, Peter's at your door with some chocolate and a note

It's short, to the point, vaguely sappy

Ben apologizing for being an idiot, for lying, for throwing away everything he had

For choosing his job over you

It ends with him saying that "I could never show you as much of the love you deserved. I'm sorry.. I can never stop loving you, for any reason. The job still needs to be done. I love you."

Peter explains that Ben had probably written it right before the takedown of Shield, and intended for you to find it yourself

Obviously didn't work that way

And now, you were stuck with the knowledge that he "can never stop loving you", and the belief that your boyfriend was dead.

Was ruminating on how Miles and Miguel are technically both 'Spider-man 2' in their respective universes. Got me thinking about the other Spider-successors in the cast, and also what if they all got matching T-shirts or something.

Pitch for Spider-Man 4:

A year after “No Way Home”, Peter Parker has reluctantly taken a job at the Daily Bugle in order to make ends meet. While there, he befriends one of J. Jonah Jameson’s interns, a college student named Miles Morales. Miles is attending the same college that Michelle Jones is enrolled in.

Although Peter is trying to maintain his distance due to everyone’s memories still being wiped, Miles can’t help but talk about MJ since he’s friends with her. That’s when Miles drops the bombshell reveal that MJ is currently seeing someone.

Peter reluctantly asks who is MJ’s new boyfriend. Miles, although he doesn’t know why Peter cares so much, says, “I think his name is Ben something.”

Later on, Peter decides to spy on MJ to see who this new guy is. After much build-up, Peter’s jaw drop when he sees that “Ben” - full name is Ben Reilly - turns out to be:

The rest of the movie is Peter trying to figure out who the heck is this doppelgänger. And, if you aren’t familiar with the storyline this is based off, the answer is clones. Peter Parker was cloned at some point in the past for mysterious reasons.

(It goes without saying but the highlight of this movie would obviously be Tom Holland acting against himself since Peter eventually has to team up with Ben Reilly)

Mid-credits scene: Peter Parker and Ben Reilly encounter the 2nd Peter clone, Kaine Parker. Who probably has this kind of energy -
