Welcome to the photo dump for Episode 175: The Skinny Bob Internet Mystery! Beginning on April 13, 2011, a user going by the name “ivan0135” uploaded a series of 4 videos purporting to show black and white clips of several longer films taken by the KGB between 1942 - 1969. The series of clips seem to show blurry antique footage, played on a projector, of a flying saucer over a rural farmhouse, a crashed spacecraft with a deceased alien, an alien autopsy, a living alien being filmed in an enclosed space, the interior of a spaceship, and a group of aliens walking towards the camera. These ominous clips have been touted as either the “realest looking fake footage” or verifiable proof that aliens really do live among us. Scroll through this photo dump to see key images from this week’s episode! IMAGE 01: Skinny Bob IMAGE 02: Ivan0135’s first video upload IMAGE 03: Ivan0135’s second video upload IMAGE 04: Ivan0135’s third video upload IMAGE 05: Ivan0135’s fourth video upload IMAGE 06: Bill Uhouse speaks on his time in Area 51 working with a real alien - could it have been skinny bob? IMAGE 07: U/BrooklynRobot found the scratch overlays used in the films IMAGE 08: u/RedDwarfBee found that one of these scratch overlays was even used in a Parks & Rec episode IMAGE 09: u/Brooklyn Robot also determined that the font at the bottom (time stamps) are Consolas, a Microsoft Font released in 2006 IMAGE 10: Skinny Bob lightened to reveal his eyes

hey, I'm a stranger - i found you by searching "tornado" bc i'm in today's high tornado risk area and I'm scared of storms. if you're in a building, your best bet is to get as far from the outside walls as you can. go to the middle room of the lowest floor. bathrooms toward the center of buildings are the safest place you can be without a basement or storm shelter, so if that applies to you, lay down in the bathtub (if the bathroom has one) and put some pillows on top of you to cushion yourself if debris falls. if you're uhoused or in a mobile home you should do your best to plan to be in a building, and i know that isn't helpful at all, but that really is your best bet. when i was homeless the library was a very safe place to go on stormy days, so try there if you've got one where you live. even a gas station or convenience store works. i hope this helped in some way, and i hope there's no storms near you tomorrow.
Thank you so much for your advice and concern. I hope you stay safe during this dangerous season! 🖤

Minneapolis Park Board sits on the largest share of stolen Indigenous land in our entire city; our 180 parks. To folks lauding Seattle's CHAZ but not paying any attention to this, please read.
Many of these uhoused folks were staying in an empty hotel that a grassroots organization had commandeered during protests. Prior to that, many of them used to live in an encampment near the freeway, which was shut down and bulldozed by MNDoT a few weeks ago. At the hotel, they had tacit permission from the owner who then suddenly and without warning served an eviction notice. When folks set up at powderhorn, park police tried to serve an eviction notice to the Poancty to an immense amount of community backlash and outcry.
Government agencies, private owners, and law enforcement come into encampments and say "leave here now" without any clear indication of where it is safe to go instead. (Hint: it's because they don't care about unhoused folks! they care about property!)
At the sanctuary, a schedule of volunteers bring hot meals and hand out snacks; it's all incredibly organized. There's a fully stocked medic tent with supplies and caregivers. There are BIPOC security team members who have been unhoused or are currently experiencing homelessness. There's de-escalation and mental health volunteers. There's community.
The Park Board voting to allow the Sanctuary to stay is is huge, but it is only a first step. We need to continue to put pressure on the City to make housing a human right.

Haastattelussa kapteeni Bill Uhouse: Takaisinmallinnetut UFOt, Area 51 & avaruusolento nimeltä J-Rod

(so what came up on shuffle for this was Leonard Cohen’s “Who By Fire” so I did. My best.)
Somehow, what came after was worse.
After the pounding despair and guilt, after the animal terror that devoured reason, after the fall and the crush of stones on head, on back, on limbs, after the pulverizing stones mixed flesh, bone, organs, armor, and dust into a gory paste… after was worse.
Dark was not the word. Unmoored, a ship that had lost all its crew, sails flapping, blown on an endless sea, no port… Uprooted, a tree wrenched from soil by a whirlwind, all its connections to the earth, to its vital systems, to its fellows snapped and dangling… Snuffed, no more the candle any longer but the whisp of smoke floating, floating, floating…
No sense of where or when or even of who (what did any of those mean without a body?), groping, blown and buffeted, doomed. That much stuck. They had all been doomed, were so doomed, to die, to die, to die, by fire and water, in light and in darkness, in manners great and mundane, at the hands of their foes and of their friends, in the height of their power and in the depths of weakness, they must die and die and die, and float and float and float, no body, nobody, and alone, evermore.
There was a call, and they followed. The direction of the wind changed, and they were blown along with it, dry leaves of past autumn glory into a dark sea. There was a point of light, and they flew towards it like a moth. And in this Null… terror could not be felt without the mechanisms of the flesh, and this was not terror.
This was worse.
This was what it was to be doomed and uhoused and compelled and seen and called and to know neither who was calling or who called, save that it was they themself, and that they must follow.
This was to be reeled in like a fish, swept towards a waterfall on a raft, blown to a lee shore, with only the barest awareness of something too vast and no capacity for resistance. Worse than hopeless.
They were Despair and then It had them and they were
“Turukano”
He was dead and he was doomed but he knew himself, he knew himself, and he knew the one who had called his spirit here and given him back his name, and he knew here to be the Halls of Waiting, and though he wait here until the breaking of the world, it was well, it was well, it was well.
