I opened the door to Lando’s apartment with my key. I set my bag down and took my shoes off. Knowing I’d be staying for a while.

“Lan” I said. “In the kitchen” Lando said. “Oh hello are you filming” I said. “Yeah a quadrant video I meant to text you” Lando said. “All good I had a major McLaren meeting so” I said. “No way is that the Y/N in the flesh” Ginge said. “Ginge” I said.

“Guys I’m shaking Lando’s girl in person” Ginge said I laughed. “It’s nice to officially meet you” I said shaking his hand. “Don’t worry I won’t try to take your man yet” Ginge said. “Oh you won’t even get a try” I said. “Oh shit she is a bit scary huh” Ginge said.

“So.. I’ll let you guys film then because I am not eating whatever he eats for breakfast” I said. “What she doesn’t have to eat it” Ginge said. “She should” lando said. “No thanks I had a bagel earlier” I said going to sit on the couch.

I got up off the couch. I then saw Lando and Ginge working out. I stood in the doorway.

“Have her try the head pull thingy” Ethan said.“I think she does that with Lando off camera” Ginge said. “Oh my god” I said laughing. “Jeez mate” Lando said. “What we know you do” Ginge said.

“What’s next” I said. “Uhh landos turn” Ethan said. “I wanna see you guys pull him I’m intrigued” I said sitting on the floor. “As long as you do it too” Lando said. “Fine” I said. Ginge went first and pulled Lando. “My god he’s not even flinching” Ginge said.

“It feels quite nice” Lando said I laughed. “Really your weird mate” Ginge said. Ethan then did it. “Come on slow and hard” Ginge said. I laughed. “Oh be quiet over there with your dirty mind” Ethan said. “I didn’t say anything yet” I said.

We then went to eat some lunch.

“This is like rabbit food” Ginge said. “I just want some pizza” I said. “Don’t start pizza sounds good” Lando said. After we finished eating we went to show Ginge and Ethan around Monaco.

“I’m getting shotgun by the way” I said. “Ughhh fine” Ginge said getting in the backseat with Ethan. “So how long have you two been dating” Ethan asked. As Lando drove.

“Uhhh like a year almost two” I said. “Met her at McLaren well I kinda knew of her before” Lando said. “Oh really” Ginge said. “I worked at Willam’s with George but I wasn’t very social” I said. “Really you not social” Ethan said.

“Ughhh I guess I was just anxious about making friends” I said. “But then I did make friends and got a new job” I said. “I guess I brought out her fun side as she says” Lando said. “That’s nice” Ethan said. “Well you two do seem perfect but I’m still jealous” Ginge said.

“He’s mine Ginge” I said. “You win you win” Ginge said jokingly. “Hope everyone is hungry” Lando said. We all ate dinner and shared stories. I sat beside Lando. “Desert was so good” Ginge said. “You two go out every night or no” Ethan asked.

“Not too often it’s quite expensive” I said. Lando then licked the plate clean. “Oh my god” Ginge said. “Damn I really wish I was that plate right now” I said. Everyone laughed. “Oh my and she says she’s shy” Ethan said. Lando just looked at me all red.

“What” I said looking at Lando. “You got him all flustered” Ginge said. “You can be the plate later” Lando said. “Oh lord” Ethan said. “Get these two love birds a room” Ginge said. “Oh I’ll get one later on” Lando said. “Lord” I said.

“You two are perfect honestly with those out of pocket things” Ginge said. “Oh I know” Lando said. After we dropped them off we went back to our apartment. I kicked my shoes off and attempted to lay on the couch.

But Lando grabbed my arm.

“You wanted to be the plate so badly” Lando said. “I still do” I said. “So come on then” Lando said leading me to our room.

Yeah so basically during the confrontation between Wren and Dream(and Punz) Cryptid panickedly accepted XD's boon that he's been offering so that they can hopefully just stop Wren from murdering Dream and Punz, or at least causing them great physical harm

And well XD's boon sort of..... like a sentient vessel for XD's power in a way? Like idk how to describe it but their probably just a bit under demigod power level, but they also don't fucking know what they're doing, and it is XD's power, he allows(sometimes makes) them channel it, it's very much under his control, he can turn it off or on as he likes

But it also smpifies Cryptid, making them into a deer hybrid :)

I actually made a reference sheet for them in this form

And I honestly don't know why, it's not like anyone else has a reference sheet

But ehhhh it looks cool so we ball

If you couldn't tell they are a white tailed deer fawn and yes I know the spots aren't really on the ears but it looks cool so fuck it, also it's not like we'te going to see their back very often and and I wanted a spotted baby so meh

Call it artistic liberties or something like that

Oh also, their antlers grow more pointy if they're channeling XD's power

And their personality changes a bit after the boon/contract thingy, especially when they are channeling XD's power

They're a bit more reserved after, and when using XD's power they almost slightly mirror him, becoming a tad more chaotic and sadistic, just a bit more though :) they usually keep the little bit of sadistic glee to themselves

But uhhh yeah after making sure no one dies (more than once, Punz dies, it's fine he gets revived by Dream and shit, and then immediately kicked in the face again because Wren is still fucking pissed at them both, Dream definately... well uh... he doesn't come out unscathed definitely, but he doesn't die at all so that's a plus) but yeah anyway after the whole confrontation Cryptid's just like: "ok XD, take your power back and shit, I absolutely don't want to be like.. idk whatever the fuck I am to you now"

XD: "yeah no lol, you work for me now and shit"

Cryptid: "Dude what the fuck I didn't agree to that!"

XD: *pulls out the contract they made* "Ya actually did :) anywayyyyy can you fix that giant crack in the earth you made?"

Cryptid: "bro idfk how to use the power you gave me"

XD: "Not my problem, anyway byeeeee" *just fucking leaves*

So yeah basically Cryptid just wants to get back to normal and XD just doesn't allow them, he doesn't like own their soul or anything like that, but they did kinda make a deal agreeing to use his powers in the way he wants them to, which left a major loophole of he can literally make them use his power to go do shit for him ooops

He doesn't actually ask that much of them though, he just likes to see them suffer as they desperately try to figure how to sever a deal with a god

We also have ants and mice so it's hard to keep what little food we have safe.

And our fridge went out.

My mom basically has to choose between feeding us or feeding the dogs with the last $20 of her paycheck.

(After paying the rent and bills. Or at least choosing if she's going to pay rent or pay for one of many bills.)

She usually chooses to feed the dogs.

But in the rare case of choosing to feed us, she usually starves herself so that I can eat.

Which is something I absolutely hate.

you are SO RIGHT!! agnene is sooo cute and you’ve really opened my eyes to the extent of how much it works. the parallels you drew between them and temehika also make a lot of sense.

similarly, now that you mention it, i definitely understand what you mean about the crossed path story.. i haven’t played since the game released (i plan on replaying when the anniversary arrives) so i my memory wasn’t the clearest. i’d completely forgotten about yomi ooops.. and you’re right that they really should have touched more on agnea’s past, especially since both she and hikari have lost their mothers. it could have been so sweet to see them exchanging stories about them. i do wish that had happened :(

this is somewhat unrelated but i’m vehemently against the temenos/throné ship because i kind of see them as siblings? (SPOILERS BTW) idk i saw a really good theory about temenos also being one of Mr “So i inpregnated countless women” Guy’s children (was his name claude? i’m blanking suddenly) and while i’m not usually one to go all in on believing fan theories, the theory was so compelling that every time i see them shipped it makes me just a bit uncomfortable lmao. that’s just how my brain works i guess

argh in conclusion there were so many links that could have been drawn between certain characters that the game didn’t want to touch on and it’s such a shame. i get that they didn’t want to make any protags More Prominent than the others and that’s hard to pull off but my imagination definitely runs wild with all the possibilities (i will never see that end-game “why was temenos doing all the heavy lifting” scene the same way after what you did with it hehe)

hehe my agnene agenda... i unfortunately don't have enough hands to draw them as much as i'd like to but yeah they're so cute to me 😭 and yeah i understand! i'm also going through my second playthrough (albeit slowly lol i started in may and am still on it) but i do check videos online pretty often when i want to talk about something so i'm more or less refreshed on the events of the game

and ooogh... that theory... okay well for some context i only came across it when someone told me it was canon that temenos was claude's son and i was so horrified that i'd missed something but it turns out people had just misinterpreted arcanette's line directed at throne o<-< i think the theory is... fine but it doesn't really affect any part of temenos' character for me since the only real thing claude's children have in common is that they were forced into the blacksnakes' bloodbath but temenos wasn't a part of that so... i also think it suits him better that he's just some ordinary guy because his story seems to push the fact that he's in a role he was never destined for (in an "ideal" world, it would've been roi who was the chosen cleric for the story but temenos was forced to take up the mantle)

UHHH but yeah regardless of temenos' parentage i got pretty strong sibling/platonic vibes from his and throne's interactions anyway... i like their dynamic the most amongst the crossed paths pairs because temenos is just constantly telling throne off for her bad behaviour like a child and i find it amusing lol

i'm always stuck between wanting more of a certain kind of interaction (because i think some banters were lacklustre) and being fine with it because it means i can be delusional and just fill in the gaps myself lmao... THAT scene still boggles my mind i can't think of a single reason why temenos would be the one carrying the water JKFGHJKA but temehika going off as a pair regardless of what they are doing will always make me happy.... 🥰
