Okay so, ran to mums room and woke her up. Suddenly I was excited again but also afraid, kinda felt like a frayed electrical cord lol.

I asked her if she saw anything, she said no. Power of suggestion is a powerful thing and I didn’t want to lead her to an answer. So I asked if she heard anything, she said yes so I asked her what she heard. She said a loud humming noise, it made her feel weird.

Now, this could all be a weird nightmare or maybe a lucid dream. Could even be just my brain seeing something it didn’t understand and tried to fill in the gaps, like I’m very open to brushing it off or explain it as something less fantastical. But I can’t understand how she also heard it.

Years later I briefly mentioned it to her and was laughing the whole thing off. She said she remembered and it was so cool to see, which was confusing cause she was asleep so tf? Asked her what she meant and she said ‘oh remember? We were standing on the porch together watching it?’

I was shocked and immediately disagreed cause no the fuck we were not. And she desperately tried to convince me until I literally had to tell her like ‘mom I swear to GOD you and I never left the house that night’ and I have never seen her go so pale so fast like she looked disturbed on a DEEP level. We were dead quiet for the rest of the car ride lmao

Anyways that was long as all hell but definitely a 10/10 would not recommend experience lmao

I love being a human woman. And a mother . I wouldn’t trade it for anything . I won’t bio -upgrade myself with technologies when they start introducing that to us. I won’t be stepping onto any space ships and exploring the galaxy with “friendly” aliens. I don’t need to “shift” into other realities . I’m happy right here on Mother Earth. Since canon ends at season 8 for you. How do you think William was conceived? Alien intervention? miracle from God? super powers from the ship found on the beach? Of something else?

I say she was healed by the alien spaceship.

To me, there was a reason CC and Spotnitz worked a "touch the ship" angle into Biogenesis, The Sixth Extinction, and Amor Fati-- long before WBD approached them with his En Ami storyline (which CC heavily rewrote, post here, to create another "whoooo knoooooows???" mystery box.) More specifically, there was a reason it was shown to bring death back to life in the same arc as Mulder's visions of a boy on the beach and a strategically placed family planning book in the basement.

I, personally, prefer that the boy on the beach was an example of the disconnect from Mulder's inner child in "other life, other world." And, I believe, if David Duchovny helped write that part (which I'm pretty sure he did), he meant it that way, too. But CC and Spotnitz worked those scenes in because of the impending pregnancy reveal in Requiem. Even if that cheapens the overall message (to me), the fact remains.

It still makes sense why Scully didn't get pregnant right away between Millennium and all things: she is at an advanced maternal age, even if she can now conceive. Her older brother Bill struggled with infertility, so perhaps it runs in the family. (Although according to That Guy in Trust No. 1, Mulder and Scully are excessively fertile-- having only fallen into bed once-- which... c'mon. Even canon debunks that claim.)

Lest we forget William has ~magical powers~ (ugh), which would only make sense if his conception was due to ~magical~ circumstances. CSM sticking a needle into Scully's neck (or tampering with her chip) wouldn't add up (timeline aside) because alien hybrids born through nefarious interference were heavily monitored and continually poked and prodded during development, let alone after birth. So. That's out. The alien ship remains as the only possibility.

But what about S8, where Existence's conclusion hinged on the fact William was normal? Well, why did the aliens take an interest in Scully's pregnancy to begin with? They weren't trying to kill her or her baby (unlike other Consortium hybrids or clones they indiscriminately destroyed.) And why were they hung up on her fertility, anyway? It was the Syndicate, not the aliens, who chipped and sterilized her. The only answer that makes the most sense is if Scully's baby had a connection to them apart from CSM and his cohort's shenanigans-- a.k.a., the ship. This is backed up by their behavior: they weren't seeking to destroy William (in S8, at least): they simply wanted to observe. He was a novelty. He was the only baby, it seems, born from a touch of their craft. He was, in a way, theirs, even if he was normal. (Which would pose an interesting conundrum-- a human baby, as normal as could be, brought to life naturally because of aliens and mankind seeking to understand each other: not a threat, but not an asset, either; a puzzle to all factions of the war. I say "would" because S9 erased and butchered it.)

All in all, that's what makes the most sense, to me.

UFO anon here! Yeah my bro tried to murder me, just family things 🤪 Anyways it was super wild so buckle up.

I was up super late at night when I was a teen cause I was a menace and never went to bed before like 4 am. And you know that thing where something happens so slowly you don’t notice it until it’s right there? Well over the course of like half an hour a sound kept getting louder. It was a deep humming that sounded like a mosquito fogger a block or two away, so I brushed it off as it’s common in my area in the middle of nowhere. I didn’t realize til later that it was WAY too early in the season for that my months. I brushed the noise off until I could feel it, it had three tones a mid tone, a very high pitched tone, and an incredibly deep bass tone. The made my guts shake like when you stand too close to a bass. I thought it was strange that nothing else was shaking.

I still brushed it off 🙄

My blinds were open as I lived in a middle of nowhere town (can’t stress that enough) so there was really no risk of creeps. I could see a street lamp, the top of my neighbours house and some trees. I saw another light but we had had a storm a few days before and figured maybe a branch had been knocked down so again, ignored it and went back to playing video games, until it moved.

Obviously I thought ‘no fucking way’ but decided to watch it anyways just to confirm. It moved so slowly but it moved. So I got up to get a better look. It was huge, similar in colour to the street lamps but more red. There was just enough light pollution in town to see a giant black triangle behind the single light.

I grew up right next to an airbase and was an air cadet on the base, and my mother was an aircraft mechanic (I know, sounds super convenient) even seeing tons of aircrafts in my life, I had never seen anything close to it. Considering it’s size and general height to the ground it shouldn’t have been able to move as slowly as it was.

My first instinct was to be excited, even if it was alien in origin it was still probably not seen by really anyone. I thought maybe it was a flight test for a secret craft? But why would they be flying it over my town?

I had a game plan. I was going to grab a phone and go to my back porch to get a photo or any evidence that I saw something, I was ecstatic! I practically skipped to my bedroom door.

As soon as I opened my door and was just about to do through it, it was like a switched flipped in my brain. I went from giddy to the most but deep terrified I have ever been in my life. I remember thinking ‘if you go outside, you’re not coming back’ but it made me sick because it didn’t feel like my own thought, like someone was telling to me.

As I was standing in the doorframe I could see someone or something in my peripheral at the far end of the hall. I could hear my brother snoring, and my mum was in bed too. They were the only other in the house.

My body felt like it was on auto pilot. Almost mechanically I took off my slippers and my glasses, and went to get in bed. For a minute I thought of looking for something I could use as a weapon but again the ‘other’ thought was in my head and said (and I will never forget it) ‘there is nothing you could do, no weapon you can have, that’s going to stop what’s going to happen from happening’

So I just accepted it and got into bed, pulled the covers to my chin and laid like a corpse totally defenceless, I’ve never felt more like a prey animal than in that moment.

I waited for anything to happen, and nothing did. After such a long build up the noise faded in what fell like maybe five minutes. I’m a big trust your gut person, so I waiting until I felt safe and RAN to my mums room. (This is mad long so I’ll send another part lmao)
