Here’s a random headcanon nobody asked for! In UF, Dogamy and Dogaressa were relatively young and new to the guard when they were stationed in Snowdin together, and not much older when those two mysterious skeleton kids showed up and claimed the run down house no one in town dared to touch for some reason… No one had the resources themselves to spare and help the kids, not anymore than they could help their own starving and sick families, but it didn’t stop them from trying to keep an eye out for the youngsters. The dogi learned their names, of course, but quickly claimed the nickname ‘Pup’ for Papyrus, since he was still so young and it was, admittedly, easier to remember.
Many years later, they would only refer to him as Lieutenant, then eventually Captain, and he was more than old enough, certainly more than strong enough to fend for himself and his brother, and he kept a tight leash within the guard, as well. Together, he and Undyne were viciously efficient, and it wasn’t until later, a few more years, that the last required human would fall into the underground. But instead of capturing them…Captain Papyrus protected the human, and it wasn’t long before most others felt a similar sense of loyalty to the kind hearted child.
Eventually, they wound up on the surface, of course, and Dogamy and Dogaressa were quick to revive the old nickname. Even though his expression cringes every time, there’s never any real conviction when he asks them to stop calling him that (especially at work).

The Cherry Chronicles: Interlude
TCC pt. 5 1/2
First Last Next AO3
Summary: Another Sans appears in Underfell. The only problem, except getting him home, is that this one’s showing signs of abuse, and is terrified of Papyrus.
Warnings: References to domestic abuse/death, threats, some slight actual abuse
The forest was quiet. The steps on snow the only thing making any sound. The air was thick with the taste of dust and death. One of the dogs barked. Their lieutenant smirked as he strode through the thick snow. The fact that he wore high stiletto heels did nothing to hinder his movements.
Papyrus was on his way to get Sans again. That piece of shit hadn’t gotten home on time. Again. He swore, if the lazybones had fallen asleep on his post again… The married dogs followed him dutifully, always staying a few meters behind. Good. They were learning. When he’d first come to Snowdin no one here had had any respect for authorities, not even royal emissaries. Their new Head had quickly beaten that out of them. He hadn’t killed many of them, though. Papyrus smirked at the memory. Most people would equal mercy with weakness, but they’d all learnt better. He spared a few lives every now and then to show off his strength.
As they neared his brother’s station, another noise interrupted the silence. Snores. He frowned, glaring in the noise’s direction. So the pathetic excuse of a skeleton had fallen asleep. He would get himself killed one day simply because he wasn’t paying attention.
“SANS!” He yelled as he quickened his steps. “YOU FUCKING IMBECILE. HOW HARD CAN IT POSSIBLY BE TO NOT TAKE A GODDAMN NAP?”
There was a shuffling sound, and a yelp. Papyrus rolled his eyes, as the snow crunched behind the trees. Apparently, Sans had slid off his chair. By Asgore’s infernal beard, how had they survived before Papyrus got old enough to protect them? Pitiful. There was a crack, like reality ripped open. He growled. The coward did not take a shortcut when he was only a couple meters away.
Yet, when he stormed into the glen, his brother was gone. Only an empty sentry station and a couple mustard bottles witnessed that he had been there, together with a hole in the snow where he had landed. Papyrus gritted his teeth in annoyance. Fine. Then he’d just have to punish him twice as much once they got home. Both for falling asleep and for escaping punishment.
“BACK HOME,” he ordered the dogs, who immediately saluted and turned around as he walked past them. “PERHAPS YOU’LL GET A CHEWTOY TONIGHT, SOLDIERS. YOU REMEMBER THE RULES. UNLESS MY BROTHER HAS A VERY GOOD EXCUSE.”
The dogs panted excitedly at his words.
When they got home, Sans wasn’t there. Probably at Grillby’s, then. Papyrus felt his temper rise, without anyone there to take it out on. He couldn’t do it on one of the townsfolk; to them he had to be collected, controlled. But he absolutely refused to go to Grillby’s, even to get his pet.
Sans didn’t come home that night.
Not the next either.
On the third day, Papyrus was fed up. Where was his fucking brother? He couldn’t be dead. No one would be stupid enough to kill a skeleton wearing a collar with the Lieutenant of the Royal Guard’s mark. Kidnapping was a possibility, but that’d be stupid too. There was no guarantee Papyrus would pay anything to get the disgusting thing back. Anyway, most didn’t know about Sans’ teleportation, so he’d probably have escaped now if that was the case. He had had enough. There was only one place Sans would think he was safe enough to stay. Papyrus guessed he’d have to go to that revolting bar.
As he reached it, he threw the door open hard enough to make it loosen from it hinges. The bar went quiet, every monster staring at him in fear. Papyrus growled at them, stalking toward the bar and Grillby. His soul was beating furiously. The elemental looked him straight into his eye sockets, even if the flickering of his flames witnessed of how frightened he was.
“WHERE IS SANS?” Papyrus glared at him, eyelight flickering red. Warning him to not lie. “THE WHELP HAVEN’T BEEN HOME FOR THREE DAYS.”
“…I have no idea,” Grillby replied, voice shaking slightly. Still, it was almost admirable how steady it was. Most stuttered too much to be understood when the realm’s third highest official was in this mood. “…He hasn’t been here in a week, Lieutenant.”
Papyrus stared him down, trying to decide if he was telling the truth. If he was, then where the hell could Sans have gone? Finally, he gave a sharp nod and left the building.
Great. Now he stunk of grease. Disgusting.
He pulled up his phone, calling the first number in it.
“CAPTAIN!” he greeted politely as soon as his best – and only, since she was the only monster worth his attention in this hellhole – friend answered. “I WILL TAKE THE DAY OFF. THE MORON HAS GONE MISSING.”
“What?” the captain’s voice came through. Papyrus looked at what she was doing. Apparently there had been brawls in Waterfall again. “You’re going to miss work because of that piece of garbage?”
“YES. HE MAY BE WORTHLESS, BUT HE IS FAMILY. I OUGHT TO AT LEAST KNOW IF HE’S STILL ALIVE. IT IS MY DUTY.”
“You’ve always been too sentimental, Papyrus,” Undyne shook her head. “Alright. One day. No more.”
“OF COURSE, CAPTAIN.” He hung up.
…
Papyrus had searched the entire Underground. Not. A. Trace. Of Sans. He was beginning to get really angry. He hated not knowing things. That it was Sans’ whereabouts wasn’t important, he told himself. It was just something he couldn’t understand, and it was fucking awful.
The fourth day, he returned back from work, only to find the front door was unlocked. He frowned. It didn’t look like someone had broken in – and who would be stupid enough to do that anyway? – which meant… His sockets widened, and he threw open the door.
Just like he had anticipated. On the floor, leaning against the wall, Sans sat, sleeping. He grinded his teeth and closed his fists, feeling himself starting to shake in anger. He had been looking for the other for days, and now he just sat there sleeping like he hadn’t been missing for four days.
“YOU FUCKING JACKASS,” he screamed as he banged the door closed. “BY THE FUCKING STARS, WHERE HAVE YOU FUCKING BEEN?”
Sans twitched, and his sockets flew open as he woke up. His eyelight flickered red as he stared at Papyrus. He didn’t take any notice of that, stalking straight up to him and grabbing the front of Sans’ shirt, hauling him off the ground.
“EXPLAIN YOURSELF, AND I MIGHT NOT THROW YOU TO THE DOGS TO DO WHATEVER THEY WANT TO WHEN I’M FINISHED WITH YOU.”
Papyrus was fuming. How dared he. Sans’ eyelight flickered again, and Papyrus slammed him into the wall.
“DON’T YOU DARE THREATEN ME, YOU PIECE OF SHIT.”
He’d make sure Sans never disobeyed him again.

First date
Summary: It was just another night's work, or so Reaper thought.
All characters are human in this story.
I don't know anything about coroners, investigative processes, etc, other than what I see on CSI, NCIS, and Criminal Minds, so I'm sorry if I'm too far off the mark.
CAUTION!! Mention of vomiting, description of blood, injuries and deaths (including that of a child).
-So, what do we have?
-Hi, Reaps! A double homicide. – The first guard replied excitedly.
-It's not a pretty scene. - warned your partner in a conspiratorial tone.
-And when is it? – He spoke with good humor, passing the pair responsible for keeping reporters and onlookers away.
There were a lot of people gathered even though it was late at night. Most must have been neighbors, but he could make out at least a couple of reporters. Surely there would be more soon, after all, such a crime in a quiet residential neighborhood like this drew attention.
Passing under the yellow tape, he entered the house proper. The first thing he noticed was the metallic and chemical smell (blood and gunpowder), the second was the smell of burning meat and finally the smell of popcorn. Most people would only feel one or two, but he had a nose for such things (in his profession, it was nice to have one). Further ahead he heard the noise of the camera shutter and saw the flashes illuminating the first span on the left.
Before he could go any farther, a policeman staggered out of the span, eyes wide over his hand which was covering his mouth. Reaper pressed himself against the wall to let him through, and when he turned around, he saw Red staring at him with his patented shark smile (smile that didn't reach his eyes).
-At least he was smart enough to get out and not contaminate the crime scene. – He commented upon hearing the unmistakable sound of the guy vomiting behind him.
-Not that it would make much difference... It's already a mess inside. - Red indicated with his head the room that was still lit by the flashes.
Reaper approached and took a peek. He'd seen several crime scenes, this one wasn't the worst by far, but it was still shocking, especially for someone who wasn't used to it (as was the case with the rookie throwing up his guts in the garden).
There were two bodies lying on the floor in a huge pool of blood, which the cheap rug below was partially absorbing. Even from a distance he could see arcs of splashes on the walls and furniture surrounding the bodies.
Stepping inside for a closer look (stopping quickly to greet Lesser, who returned the greeting with a cheery "Hey Doc!" before getting back to work documenting the scene), he saw that there was even a splash on the ceiling.
Reaper let out a low whistle.
-Someone was angry. - He said looking around and registering the furniture overturned, the broken TV and the popcorn scattered like confetti on the floor.
-Lots! I thought I'd have to use a crowbar to get it off the kid.
Reaper didn't miss the tone or how Red referred to the killer. Preferring not to delve into the matter (after all, these problems were none of his concern), he approached the smaller body.
He estimated the child to be between 8 and 10 years old. They had brown hair and appeared to be healthy (when alive). Your torso was a mess of red. Reaper couldn't estimate how many stab wounds the child had taken, but they were enough to make the striped shirt them wore almost unrecognizable.
He bent down, fished a glove out of his coat pocket and pulled it on as he took a closer look at the body.
There were also cuts on the arms, hands, neck and face. The child had fought to defend themself. Despite this, they expression was serene, and along with them eyes closed, they looked almost asleep. (of course, if he could just ignore all the cuts and blood around them).
He gave Red a sidelong glance. People used to find the glassy gaze of death unnerving, and while Red wasn't stupid to interfere unnecessarily with the body at a crime scene, even he could be affected by the sight of a dead child (even though he's come across several such scenes before).
-I don't think this will be a big mystery, Doctor. - Red spoke when Reaper leaned over the body to open the child's eye - The cause of death is obvious.
-Yes, but who knows? It wouldn't be the first time appearances can be deceiving...
-I think in this case it's pretty obvious that the death was multiple stabbings. - Red spoke dryly.
-It could be... but which one was the fatal one?
The detective made a sound that was half contempt, half amused. He knew how much Reaper liked to know the details, the small, decisive details that led to the fateful point of no return.
Getting up and leaving the child for now, he headed for the other body (ah! That's where the smell of burning flesh came from!).
The second body was that of a man, around his age or younger. Light blonde hair with a few strands already gray and a little out of shape.
-That one shouldn't be too much trouble either. – Red commented when he saw Reaper studying the second victim.
-I don't know... From what I see he was also stabbed. - And he indicated the shirt soaked in blood and with a big rip in the front.
-Yes, but the head...
-Yeah... that was ugly... what did they hit him with?
-That's a good question. Hope you give us a clue as to what the hell the freak used to do this.
The right side of the men face had been hit by something, and whatever it was, it had done a lot of damage. The upper right part of his face was a shapeless mass of blood and burned flesh (it would take some work to make him presentable for the wake).
Curious, Reaper knelt, wondering what the killer had used to get the face into that state.
Just as he leaned over to get a better look at the wound, the man's left eye popped open and a hand flew out to grab his arm. For a “corpse” the man gripped his arm with surprising strength.
He heard Red gasp and Lesser howl in fear, but he didn't react, just stared at the staring eye.
His pupil was so dilated he couldn't tell what color the man's iris was. Despite the immobility, his eyes darted from side to side, still searching for the threat.
His mouth opened, but before he could say anything (even though he had no idea what he was going to say) the man's lips started moving and he focused on them.
The corpse (not so corpse like that) had thin, almost colorless lips (another sign that he must be dead, and not trying to talk) which made the blood bubble that appeared between it, contrast even more.
The victim's fingers tightened even more, pulling an involuntary grimace of pain from him, as the man's lips moved forming words without sound.
Dimly he heard Red cursing something that sounded like "Who the hell checked the pulse?", but he was too focused on the man to register.
There was a familiar sound (which his mind only registered without really identifying) and the man's face bathed in white before returning to normal. Red screamed again, this time demanding that someone stop and go get help.
Reaper leaned in more, fascinated by what was happening in front of him as his mind turned off what was happening around him. In all his years as a medical examiner in the criminal department, he had never been in such a situation.
(and look at that he will come LOTS of bizarre things)
-...refuse...
Reper leaned closer, trying to hear the wispy, watery voice. The man spoke some more words and then fingers loosened and his eye rolled up. Reaper stood completely still, waiting for what else would happen next.
-Do something, Reaper!
The demand snapped him out of his trance and he straightened up looking at a pale Red, as if he were the real corpse.
For a second Reaper didn't understand what Red wanted him to do. He was a coroner, and that guy wasn't dead yet (he couldn't start an autopsy. It was illegal to perform such a procedure on someone alive!). And then he realized that even though he hadn't dealt with a live patient in years, he had the knowledge to do so. Only he didn't have any equipment with him.
(unless he counted on the thermometer he was carrying, but he was pretty sure taking the guy's liver temperature wouldn't help him at all)
With relief he heard running footsteps and emergency personnel appear. He walked away as they began to examine the corpse/victim and try to stabilize him (for the first time, Reaper was sure Edge would be happy with the rescuers' laziness in leaving the scene of the crime).
As he watched the paramedics take him away, he thought about his last words.
“I refuse to die”

Ok, my headcanons: 1) Sans can call his brother in personal communication in different ways: papyrus, pap, bro, papy, bro-bro, hey bring me mustard from the kitchen and so on. But in public, he calls him Boss, because the professional subordination. 2) Papyrus allows people to throw tomatoes into criminals as punishment. The monsters are happy. 3) Papyrus hangs the criminals in humiliating poses. He uses knots shibari for this purpose, because they cause fewer injuries, and because it is hard to find a book about the sea knots in the underground. In any case, he does not care about the context of stupid humans. At first I did not want to use this headcanon, because bdsm is a very popular and vile fandom's fetish, but I have too much gintama in my blood. Bdsm is too easy a victim for jokes and satire. 4) Monster Kid is a fan of Undyne, so he hates the new captain of guards. King forbade harming children, and Papyrus does not know the parents of this kid, so he is in a very unpleasant situation of helplessness in front of a small brat. Bonus In fact, it was the Lesser Dog, who sat down on the stove. Although Papyrus really can kill, but only if he is max angry as possible.

How would UT! Paps, US!Sans, and UF! Paps react to a S/O that has a huge dog? I'm talking like, people can mistake this thing to a horse big. (Bonus, big boofer is a cuddle bug)
Kittens and now doggos!? All of the cuddly things! Fun fact: my sheepadoodle Boo’s full name is Boo Fergus, and his nickname is Boofer, so I was imagining a Hulk sheepadoodle the entire time I was writing. In case you wanted another image of a cute pupper.
--Owlie
UT Papyrus
Despite Papyrus’s stance on the Annoying Dog, he is actually quite fond of dog monsters and other dogs alike. Annoying Dog was annoying, because he was always attracted to his bone attacks. However, Doggo and he were on good terms most times, and Dogamy and Dogaressa playfully teased Papyrus because he was one of the sentries. Therefore, he is not adverse to dogs like people might think.
However, a dog that size… that’s insane! After demanding, “This is a DOG? Even Greater Dog and Lesser Dog were only big because of their armor!” he sits down so he can be acquainted, and then he is seriously worried that the dog is going to crush him with their weight as they cuddle into him. After he adjusts, aside from being fidgety since he is not used to sitting down for that long, he relaxes and pets the dog, who seems over the moon that they are getting attention and loves and pets.
How well Papyrus and the fuzzy baby get along depends on what kind of personality the dog has. Papyrus is able to be friendlier and more involved with the dog if the dog is also capable of being energetic, like going for runs and playing tug of war. If the dog just likes cuddling and being lazy, then it is very likely that Papyrus would only be able to cuddle with them when he is falling asleep at bedtime. Either way, he is happy that his s/o has a companion even when he is not with them.
US Sans
Sans loves all dogs. And cats. And ferrets. And birds. Just… he is an animal whisperer, much to his brother’s confusion. There weren’t that many animals in the Underground, so it’s strange that he gets along with every animal he meets on the Surface. Like, he is Kronk from The Emperor’s New Groove when he talks to the squirrel. He is that guy.
When he meets the horse-sized dog, he is just as eager to meet the fluffer as the dog is to meet him. All of the dog’s kisses and enthusiasm bubble out and cause Sans to laugh in turn and give the dog as much affection as he can. Every time he’s over, he gives the dog a greeting that lasts at least fifteen minutes.
While he is more energetic than the other Sanses, he is still down for cuddle time, as long as they can do something while cuddling. If they tug on a rope or something while cuddling and sitting, he can do that all while he is happily chatting with his s/o. Honestly, as much as he loves animals, it makes him love his s/o even more when the s/o obviously loves and cares for their dog.
UF Papyrus
He has a cat. A CAT. The natural enemy of dogs! Even in the Underground, the dogs of the Royal Guard disliked Doomfanger (honestly, Doomfanger was how he kept all of them in line), so when his s/o tells him that they have a big dog, he is naturally a bit apprehensive and he snorts as soon as his s/o’s back is turned. There is no way that a mangy mutt will surpass Doomfanger in being a suitable animal companion!
However, when he actually meets the dog, he is quickly taken aback. He knew that his s/o said the dog was large, but the hound had surpassed all of his expectations in regards to their appearance. The dog is just as poofy as Lesser Dog and Greater Dog, but their fur is pristine, obviously well-groomed. When the dog leans backwards with their bottom in the air, Papyrus assumes that it is an intimidation tactic and finally realizes the dog’s end goal. It was not friendship, it was dominance! Naturally, he assumes the same pose. He is the alpha! The dog is thrilled, thinking that Papyrus is playing. The s/o laughs, thinking the same thing. However, when the dog just lays down on Papyrus and pants happily, he begrudgingly pets them, and the dog is happy.
After many other times of doing this same routine, Papyrus and the dog have a companionable relationship. However, it may not be time to bring Doomfanger over just yet.

Sans leaned into the couch. Absently he fingered his collar. It was an unusually good day. There had been no questioning his and his brother’s authority in Snowdin, the dogs had taken care of all crime and the new food-transports from the capital had arrived, which made everyone in an extra good mood. Especially since none of it had been missing this time. Stolen or kept by the Capital.
Papyrus was sitting at the kitchen table doing paperwork. Doomfanger was resting in his lap. Sans would’ve helped his brother, but he hated paperwork. It was awful. Also, ever since he spilled mustard all over it Papyrus had banned Sans from ’helping’.
Yeah. It was a good day.
A phone signal went off, and Papyrus picked his up. He sighed as he checked the caller before accepting and putting the phone to his ear.
“YES?” His eyebrows rose as listened to whoever it was. Sans watched in interest.
”WHAT? BUT SANS IS H…” he interrupted himself. Papyrus looked very bemused, and slightly worried. Sans sighed. Well. So much for that good day. ”NEVERMIND. I AM ON MY WAY.”
Papyrus stood and waved for Sans to follow him. With a groan, he rose from the couch, pulling on his coat as they left the house.
”what was that ’bout, boss?” he asked as they walked though Snowdin. The denizens of the small town moved out of their way as they proceeded to take the road leading toward the forest.
”THE CANINES TOLD ME THEY HAVE FOUND YOU. IN THE FOREST. DOGGO SAID YOU WERE ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIED OF THEM AND EVERYTHING. ’YOU’ LOOKED HURT AS WELL, APPARENTLY.”
”what.”
Sans received no reply. It didn’t look like his brother knew what to think either. That was fucking weird. It would’ve been one thing if it had been anyone else. That’d still be strange, but explainable. The Dogi, though… with their incredible senses of smell and loyalty to the skeleton brothers, it should’ve been impossible for them to mistake anyone else for them. Sans sighed. Well, they’d have to wait until they reached their destination – wherever that was – until they got an answer.
It was freezing in the forest. Sans had to close his jacket to keep out the cold winds. When the winter affected skeletons, then temperatures were low. They passed through most of the forest, and Sans realized they appeared to be on way toward his sentry station.
When they reached it, he could see how Lesser and Dogaressa were kneeling close to something scrambled up against the wall of the sentry station. The huddle appeared to be breathing shallowly. The other dogs – except Greater who was on duty guarding the food – were standing watch. Dogamy gave away a happy yip as he smelled them. Doggo looked grumpy as always, but his tail twitched, showing that he was glad to see them. Both looked very confused though, staring at Sans. He scowled, and both immediately averted their eyes.
Dogaressa looked up, looking relieved as she moved away from the huddle. She grabbed Lesser’s neck and dragged him with her.
”(Lieutenant! Sir!)” she greeted, saluting them. The huddle gave away a terrified squeak. Papyrus nodded slightly in reply, but Sans only had eyes for the monster next to his sentry station. It was a skeleton. He made a move to teleport up to them, but his brother grabbed his shoulder, stopping him. Fine. His brother wanted to look first.
Papyrus strode up to them. The huddle scrambled as far away they could. Which wasn’t very far, because the wall behind him quickly stopped them.
”LOOK AT ME,” he ordered, and the monster quickly obeyed. Sans gasped as he saw the monster’s face. They were identical. From the shape, to the sharp teeth with a gold replacement and the scar over the right eye socket. Red eyelights. The only difference was that the other monster’s face was extremely bruised.
”B-Boss!” the other monster stammered, trying and failing to form a disarming smile. Even their voices were identical, even though this one’s was raspier – like he’d been screaming. As Papyrus’ frown only deepened – in confusion and irritation at not understanding what was going on – the other looked even more terrified. ”i- i’m s-s-so-sorry, Boss. i didn’- didn’ mean to fall asleep again. please. please please please do-don’t h-hurt me, Boss,” he begged.
”W-WHAT?” Papyrus stared at the monster in horror. Sans could only imagine how awful it must feel to have someone who looked exactly like one’s brother begging to not get hurt. He quickly shortcutted up to his brother once it was obvious that Papyrus had no idea what to do. Normally any kind of impostor would be dead or chained by now – it happened that some shapeshifters had tried, but this was a little too good for a normal faker. Plus, why would one of those act like this?
“ok, that’s ‘nough.” Sans’ eye socket was blazing red and he glared down at the other ‘him’. The monster flinched before he got a better look at him. Then he slowly blinked. He seemed to almost forget his fear as he stared at Sans in shock.
“okay, what the fuck?” The monster exclaimed. Sans and Papyrus glanced at each other in surprise. No way this was a shapeshifter. They hadn’t thought about it before, but the monster spoke in lowercase Comic Sans. Only actual skeletons could even identify fonts, and changing them and letter cases was something that was hard even for them.
“ya tell me, buddy.” Sans finally commented. “why’re ya beggin’ my bro not to hurt ya for? and what’re ya doin’ at my station?”
“y-yer? ‘t’s my sentry station.”
They stared at each other for a couple moments. The dogs and Papyrus were just looking extremely perplexed. No one had any idea what was going on here, if that wasn’t obvious.
Finally, Sans spoke.
“ya’ve ever heard ‘bout the multiverse theory?”
He had studied it when he still worked in the labs. Until something had happened. He still didn’t know why he had dropped out, but he felt no need to go back so it didn’t really matter.
“’c-course.” A small light had begun to burn in the monster’s eyes. He almost seemed to forget to be afraid, nearly looking excited. “ya think…”
“well yer not a shapeshifter so i can’t think of anythin’ else.”
Papyrus cleared his throat, waking them up from their conversation. Both had forgotten they were out in the open, and in others’ company. The excitement of having the Theory proven had been too distracting.
Other Sans flinched at his brother’s voice, and let out a squeak. Sans himself only rolled his eyes.
“CARE TO SHARE WHAT THE HELL YOU TWO ARE TALKING ABOUT?”
Sans chuckled as he looked his brother and the dogs over. Papyrus didn’t try to hide both his curiosity and irritation while the dogs did their best to not show how intrigued they were. Except for Lesser. Lesser was busy trying to build a snow statue.
“this one’s me. from ‘nother universe,” he simply told them. “parallel universe, most likely, with how similar we look.”
The dogs completely stopped acting like they weren’t pay attention, and stared at him with gaping mouths, showing off all their teeth. Papyrus blinked, but didn’t seem to be able to think of anything to say. Eventually he seemed to catch himself.
“GET HIM HOME, SANS. WE CAN’T LEAVE HIM HERE BUT NO ONE CAN SEE THIS… COPY OF YOU.”
Sans grinned and saluted jokingly.
“sure thing, boss.”
He grabbed the other him and stepped into the Void.
I came to think when I was going to bed yesterday; what if instead of Underswap, the abused and scared UF Sans ended up in (my normal) Underfell where the bros are best bros like they should be? I'm thinking of continuing this. Any opinions?

so how would you think Papyrus would look in a royal guard uniform? I like to see what your take on how he would look?
Hmm- well it seems like there’s no real Royal Guard uniform. It’s either Armor like Undyne’s, or something else. Doggo looks like he’s in his underwear xD, and Lesser dog looks like a squire? Or maybe something that Link would wear lol. Dogamy and Dogaressa are both wearing robes instead of any kind of armor too.
HMMM. So- going by that logic-
Something like that?
For Underfell, I think UF Paps would look the exact same as he does now *Nods*, armor wouldn’t have too many advantages when intent to kill is all that matters :D

"Hurry up! They can't escape!" - Bearlte's shouts could be heard uncomfortably close by was a clear sign that they should accelerate the pace.
"C'mon Bossy, We should sidetrack them already! Hurry up ! "The beast growled at him complaining of the comment. Sans clung as he could to the back of the other didn't even know how he could continue to cling to him taking the strides he gave trying to dodge all the obstacles he found in the forest. Little by little the trees began to become less frequent until they disappeared almost completely, giving way to a large white meadow. "Tell me you know where we're going in?!" He looked up and smiled with total confidence - oh no ... he knew that face, Papyrus would do that face when he do madness. When he look back, he notice that Bearlte appeared with four soldiers from the forest left behind, now that there were no obstacles in between, it was only a matter of time before they were powdered. "!we have to!…. No ... you won't be able "- Bossy increased speed in response. His grip tightened- "oh for Asgore I guess it's better than dying devoured by dogs" - in the background was observed how the land had long ago split apart in two halves; A cliff appeared before his eyes.
Each time they were closer to reaching them one could hear their tired breaths. "Stop! It's an order! "- ordered the Mighty Bear monster, but it was too late. They had already jumped the great and impressive ravine. The jump was incredibly powerful, despite that, wasn't enough to avoid the blow he received in the ribs after landing on the same edge of the other end. It was noisily painful it was so dry that the rider gave a full turn before sliding down the floor. When Sans looked up he saw Bearlte standing at one end and watching with his great and fearsome mace surrounded by four guard dogs and at the other end Pupyrus trying desperately to climb. "Damn it!" The monster skeleton rose quickly to To succor his hairy brother. I grabbed his jacket but it was too heavy for him. The other tried desperately to climb but his legs couldn't grab at anything the rock would come off at every attempt. There was a dreadful snarl and then a sharp blow to his side they both looked at the direction where it occurred and before they could really perceive that Bearlte threw their mace at the other end the ground cracked around them falling down the deep cliff.
Two days before
There is a lot of noise around him. Sans doesn't know where he is, the last thing he remembers is to have fallen asleep at the sentry station and to have woken up in a place full of smoke with people screaming nothing coordinated with a loud alarm. he was in a bad way shortened on a hard cold ground and a red light with an appearance pattern banged his eyesocker uncomfortably. Never in his life had he been so confused and sick, he felt like ... like .... It was indescribable. It was like if he had been thrown into a tornado while his ribs is hit their . He repositioned himself to sit down and made an effort to assimilate his surroundings, it was the most grotesquely realistic nightmare he had ever dreamed of. "! HERE AMONG THE SMOKE! GETTING IT "- wait ... were they referring to him? - can hear the floors of several monsters heading towards their position -" LOOSE THE NOOSES"- oooohhhhh shit they referred to him, confused with fear and with stressed, the last thing he saw before teleporting away from wherever he was looked up to a person tying a long stick with a bow at the premiere. Nop! Nop! Nop! The hard floor give way to the snow soft. Sans, still in his seated position, began to crawl backward until a solid wall prevented him from continuing. He tried to breathe as calmly as he could, questioning whether what he had just lived was only the product of a nightmare. Over time he forced himself to relax and inspect where he had stopped ... nice thing, he was leaning on one side of his house, between the house and the shed more concretely. It rises up little by little even having the discomfort of when it woke up in that place, bitter proof that that really happened. - I have to look for Pap- I think whatever that place is, it's something serious. He begins to walk towards the setting of his house using the wall as a support, he still feels like a shit but gradually disappears.
When it finally arrives it he escaba in his pocket to extract the key of house. But for some reason It doesnt work "fuck ... I'm not for shit, open fucking door!" - to despair begins knocking on the door and pulling the handle almost trying to pull it out, eventually surrender, whatever, there is nobody at home. He doesn't know what time it is but there are no lights inside, his brother must be on patrol or something. Well he could wait, so he would be more relaxed and could think things through. It time to go to Grillby's.
On his way to Grillby's tavern he noticed that some monsters were watching him closely, it wouldn't be the first time that some monster was spying on him, but at that moment it was different, his eyes were to mistrustful. Sans noticed it but decided to believe that it was his imaginations so accumulated stress in such a short time, so that being watched was not something so unusual.
When he entered the bright and warm tavern, he found the same customers in their respective seats, counting the royal guards of Snowdin. That meant Papyrus would have finished his patrol hours ago .... It also meant that he would have to listen to the reprimands for not being in his station. Now more than ever he wanted a drink. But then? Where was him? Undyne. Probably called him on some matter maybe to train, well, it didn't matter, it would be late. Before going to the bar and asking for something he approached to ask Dogamy and Dogaressa to assure his theory. "Hey, do you know where my brother is now?" - Great dog tilted his head and Doggo only directed the ears to where the sound came without looking away from the fan of letters, regarding the couple looked surprised and then "You're the first one we see, surely we would remember seeing a monster as you, hehehe," replied Dogaressa. What the fuck? What did that creepy tone come to? But instead of answering he simply preferred to leave the conversation had already had too many strange things for today.
He sat at the bar in front of the flaming violet monster, which kept drying a glass with a rag. "Grillby put me the usual, you can't imagine how my day has gone" - the other simply remained silent ,silently looking behind his sunglasses- "... and what is it the everyday?" - he frown while he kept his watch the fire "oh come Grill I'm not in the mood" - "... you're taking a lot of liberties runt " - "this is because of my tag ?, don't I always pay you ?" -they fire in front of him I stopped cleaning the glass, leaving it on the table while he was leaning one arm on the bar and the other I used it as a support to pose his head - "this is interests me now, is usually me who has to" refresh "the memory and not the Reverse, since we are what you owe me money mmm "-" ... what? ... "- his eye lights began to tremble" hey, are you bothering this appetizer? "- the other dogs laughed
the joke to Doggo. ENOUGH! A red light was the last thing they saw in the bar. Sans teleported to Waterfall, he had to find his brother, he only hoped that he and Undyne would know who he was.
he knock the door with pure terror in his hands. Out of the door came Undyne, who was looking at him with the face of few friends. Before she could say anything Sans stepped forward, "! Undyne tell me that you know where my brother is, something really fucked is going on and- "Before he could follow it the Captain she lunged at him, banging his skull against the ground. I grab him by the sweater from his lying position- "shut up! I dont get any more visits at this time of night, I don't know where the hell your brother is. "" Undyne for Asgore, I have to find him anyway! You have to - "- Undyne put his spare hand on her Teeth without any affection, he didn't need to open his mouth to speak precisely but the message was more than clear- "I see .... He is dead "-" WHAT !? "-" you arent the first one who comes desperate asking to find a missing family member, if you haven't found him until now,so he is dead, don't have much hope "- with that explanation she get off from above Sans and went back into houses.
He instantly got up "b-b-but I'm not- What's happening?" - again he teleported to Snowdin this time back to his house. He ran to the entrance, without expecting it, he found a giant bear monster opening the door. The little skeleton stared at him in horror, he was standing right in front of the door with a set of keys without noticing his presence. "Can I help you with something?" - well, maybe he already notice his presence - "..." - "I've never seen you around here is a bit dangerous to walk around these hours" - "I'm.. this-" "Yes? "-which I could answer-oh yeah, look me and my brother have been in that house for years but apparently no one remembers our existence-" yeah... I'm looking for my brother, I ... em think he's in Snowdin ... in some place "- sounded as the worst excuse in history but the other didn't seem to care or didn't notice -" I see ... "- began to rummage in his pocket -" look, I know you're worried but it isn't a good idea that monsters as you ronden at night "- the subject sack of the pocket 100 g-" W-What? "-" is for the hostal, it is at the other part of the town. There a point of transport there is behind the house in an igloo isn't lost "- where did this guy come from? Nobody gives money to strangers, the only way someone gives you money is with a beating before. "H-hey, thank you very much for your help, hehe" - "it's my job" - and with that last sentence he enter the house.
Sans kept looking at the bills that had been kind enough to give him. And if he didn't actually find his brother because he didn't exist. He had begun to tremble in his life he had been so afraid, to wake up in a strange place and never to have existed is never totally unlikely, but that is what was happening. There's something that big guy was right the nights are dangerous and he had nowhere else to go.
He intended to open the door of the hospal when he suddenly saw that in the other building the door was opened and he found another strange point to add to his day; a human .
The human noticed his presence and gasped in surprise, more than frightened, confused.
"S-San- ..." - the human being quiet suddenly and shaking his head he stepped back without believing what his eyes were seeing, starting to run out of Snowdin.
Did that human know who he was !?
