FINALLY finished the (extremely busy) reference sheet for my slime guy…it’s already out of date with the game canon but luckily ch 2 is just slightly to the left of this look LOL.

he’s challenging to color, but that’s my own fault for deciding to give him such a complicated color concept 😓😓

Once I made Udii an antagonist NPC in our campaign, it really hit me how insane of a character he is. He’s from a species of slime-people that are biologically sexless and genderless but identifies as a gay crossdresser. He has 6 biological parents. He’s a deadbeat dad. He’s a showgirl. He’s a cat burglar. He has a warlock pact with a patron that gets off on him doing shit that could kill him, and a back up pact with another entity that is in active conflict with the interests of the first one. He’s playing every side, at all times, and lies like he’s breathing.

He’s immune to being charmed or put to sleep, he doesn’t need to eat, he can shapeshift into anything and anyone, he’s double crossed everyone he’s ever worked with, and is presently destabilizing the planes of reality with an artifact he stole from the party.

I love him So much.

~77 years prior to the start of our campaign, Udii was raised by his mother, Lellele (pronounced like ‘allele’ but sub ‘Le’ for ‘ah’) in a tiny house, on the edge of a tiny town, pretending at being human.

[note: Lellele uses they/them pronouns and is more accurately described as his ‘parent’; Udii call them his ‘mother’ due to mutually agreed convenience.]

Long before Udii was born, and likely long after, Lellele worked as an apothecary on the edge of a small village. Lellele spent most of their time camouflaged as a human, and insisted Udii do the same, so their customers would feel at ease.

Lellele’s goal in life was to understand what they were—where slimefolk came from, how they developed, so on. Over a long period of time, they came to know 5 other slimefolk, all in a variety of hues. They studied them. Befriended them.

Udii was the eventual result: a subject— no, a child— born of their union with the others. Lellele nutured and observed Udii’s development with great interest, and greater joy.

Top: Lellele’s slime form coloration was a real challenge, because Udii has a pink daughter and a green spouse. Blue read too much like they were some sort of water elemental, and red felt very jarring. Ultimately I settled on this purple gradient, and I’m pleased how it’s come out.

Given that Udii has 4-5 other parents contributing to his DNA, I wanted the two of them to have undeniable similarities, but have contrast, too, so I gave them a different face shape and nose. They have the same eyes, though.

Lellele’s big charm points are their drill curls, their full lips, and most importantly, their long, Buddha-like earlobes.

Bottom Left: Lellele in human form. They decided to give themselves freckles in this form to look more like Udii. The length of the hair differs, but the drill curls are always present.

Bottom Right: Lellele next to Udii as an adult. He ran away as a teen, so they have no clue how tall he is now. He’s written them a letter now and then, but hasn’t contacted them in ~50 years.

The biggest difference between Udii and his mother is that he generally dislikes humans (non-slimefolk). Lellele sees every living being as fascinating.

Goolala Xaa’vludzii, an OC of mine i’ve been working on for a while~ + alt face and her 3 parents

Goolala is a slimeperson born from 3 parents- Vluz Khuufli (he/him), Xaa’vox Del-rlalaeph(xe/them), and Udii Cluelle (right; he/him). (im sorry, it’s the only drawing i have of him on this computer)

Udii is an earlier OC of mine that i’ve had for a while, and he’s an absolute menace and a horrible person. Unsurprisingly, he is a horrible deadbeat father, and left Vluz and Xaa’vox to raise Goolala.

Goolala wants to be an idol, but unlike her ‘papa,’ Udii, who performs in cabarets and circuses, she doesn’t want to be famous for being a slimeperson, and in fact, HATES being a slime. As a result, she refuses to go completely liquid, and insists on wearing normal clothes, even though her slightly acidic body chemistry tends to dissolve them over time.

While her other parents humor these ‘quirks,’ Udii despises them, and will openly and often state his disappointment in his daughter.

He’s got narrow facial features, and the bags under his pink eyes betray his age. His outfit is a weird hybrid of a 1930s women’s pant suit and incongruous details I added because I liked it, with wide lapels, puff sleeves, a scarf draped around his neck, and wide-cut pant legs that end in a scalloped hem. This pant suit is accessorized by some arm-warmer-like half-sleeves that billow and drape from just above his elbow, reminiscent of a like a jellyfish’s stingers. He also sports a frilly, pearl-accented belt, where similar strands of ‘fabric’ on each side of his waist billow down to mid-thigh. His ‘shoes’ are mary-janes. As for his pose, the leg closest to us is extended, and the one furthest away is propped up on an invisible chair rung. He’s supporting his weight with one arm, and the other is held up in a limp-wrist pose, but he’s not asking if “you’re....you know.” You’ve simply walked in on him admiring the strange silver ring he’s wearing on his right hand, which is barely visible because of the angle. On the right, written in a purple glowing script, is his full name, ‘Udii Cluelle.’
