A small smile touched Itachi's lips at the words, his eyes dipping down briefly. Oh how he'd wanted to hear those words more than anything else, wanting to know that others didn't always expect him to be perfect. But far too often he was expected to be perfect, held on a pedestal that he'd never wanted to be on in the first place.

[text] Thanks to you, the new neighbours now know my name xxx [This almost crack canon, isn't it ? xD]

Hearing the small alert sound coming from his phone that he’d received a message Itachi wandered over and picked it up. Pulling up the messages he then saw he had a message from Shisui and opened it. At that point in time he nearly dropped his phone, his eyes widening and his cheeks going bright red as he read over what the elder Uchiha wrote.

He didn’t seriously just send him that message did he?!

Setting his phone down he covered his face briefly, trying to push back the wave of embarrassment that he felt in that moment. His efforts proved futile though, and after a time of sitting and staring at his phone in growing horror he moved to pick it up again. It took a few moments more to actually type up a response to Shisui’s message too.

[text] Maybe I should change things then, so that soon enough they’ll know my name instead.

**I’m dying over this. Those damn neighbors of theirs will forever be the bane of Itachi’s existence. But yes, this is pretty much crack canon and now Itachi is going to go crawl off in a corner and die of embarrassment. xD

Itachi appreciates the people who respect his personal space and don't push him into undesired situations. Someone who can stay by him and not take his occasional silence for disinterest, and allow a bond to form overtime has chances to win his heart.

♦: For a surefire way to calm their ass down

When he is truly angry there is little that will calm him, and the few people who can do that are the ones he considers the most precious. If it comes from those people, he is open to what they have to say and their words may calm him. Certain light affections can also help.

♣: For a surefire way to make them laugh

He happens to be rather ticklish.

Threaten those closest to him, or his relationship with them on unfounded reasons.
