I still VIVIDLY remember when Morgana was explaining the mechanics of stealing treasures and shit with Kamoshida and I was like "I... am unsure I am comfortable with this?" And like the game knew I would be, ten minutes later The Shiho Thing Happened to basically force me as the player to justify the action.

And it's been an ethical rollercoaster since then and I am certain you are all sick of me bitching about it, i'm SURE.

But I feel like Royal, this bonus campaign, is forcing the question on you. What is your line? What level of collateral destruction and pain does it take for you to decide it's okay to take someone's mind and change it?

Because that's what the Thieves have been doing this whole time! Call it distorted desires or hearts or whatever you want, but also remember that Reverie sat across from Sae and changed her without touching her Treasure.

Interesting that Maruki's Persona is an outer god who is lulled by the madness around him. It doesn't tend to, like, give a shit. So if it's a facet of Maruki, does that mean he really does intend to work his eldritch magic to "fix" the work and then walk away, standing separate, not participating in the world he's made?

4.A film you could watch on repeat for the rest of your life?

if we're talking 2019 films only I'd say Parasite. It's definitely one of those films that will be a pleasure to rewatch because there's always something new to discover. It's complex, it's well-acted, well-directed, the score is great. It has so much depth and the story works on so many levels that I'm sure it's a film you could enjoy watching 50 times easily.

8.Which book you read in 2019 that would you like to see adapted into a film?

I mean I would die if Radio Silence was made into a film. (or better yet Universe City into a tv show). I love Aled and Frances so much. And can you imagine the rep this would bring? And if done right Aled could be played by some gender non-conforming/nonbinary actor and Frances would be played by a young British Ethiopian actress and Carys would be played by some young fat actress and Daniel by a South Korean actor and and and...

and it would be a movie that celebrates friendship and celebrates weird friendship and would be a movie that celebrates creativity and fun and would celebrate how sometimes your crushes just don't like you back and how there's always a bigger picture you're not seeing and just uaaaah it could be soo good if done well. But I'd rather never have it be made into a movie than have it done badly.

9.The most aesthetically pleasing movie you watched?

Oh that's a difficult one. 'cause what's aesthetically pleasing you know. Like I really love the cinematography of The Lighthouse, Portrait of a Lady on Fire and Parasite. But I don't thing The Lighthouse is aesthetically pleasing to watch. It's gorgeously filmed but it's also creepy AF. So for that reason, I'd say Portrait of a Lady on Fire. That one I can definitely say is pleasing.

11. Which movie genre won 2019?

Mind you I still haven't seen quite a bit of 2019 films but I hear great things about them. we could talk broadly about drama or comedy. But honestly, I think in terms of what's new and different and has had good resurgence I think horror won 2019. There's Us and The Lighthouse and Midsommer (and It 2) and they're all being widely talked about and getting nominated and shit so yeah I think horror is the most interesting genre to watch atm.
