— boy he LOVES strawberries. so he probably buys you strawberry items so that you can be reminded of him. let’s say his obsession can get out of hand, but who doesn’t love cute strawberry items???

— i feel like he would prefer a more private relationship?? but that doesn’t work out since he acts SOOO different around you. so when he announces that you two are dating, the others aren’t surprised whatsoever.

— pretty clueless so would ask you for help because it’s “you two getting along” he says. he would find any excuse to be with you at all times and just wouldn’t mind acting a little clueless.

— if there’s any language barriers, i feel like he’d try his best to communicate with you as best as he can. sure, he wants to give up at some times, but he remembers you, the main cause of his motivation. so he’d study really hard for you :)

— ricky isn’t always as open with his thoughts as he think he is. sometimes, he may isolate himself, just because there’s a lot on his mind. so that’s when you step in! give him comfort and offer to listen bc that’s all what he needs!

— secretly likes physical touch but won’t flat out admit it. he wouldn’t pretend he hates it either, he just lets it happen. secretly smiles when you suddenly become clingy around him. he likes you initiating it first because he doesn’t want to be annoying or a bother to you when he needs affection </3

— the longer you’re in a relationship with him, the more comfortable he is with you. and that’s a good thing! but he still gets flustered over small acts you do for him.

to think he was dragged here due to his idiotic best friend, sunghoon, he found it quite hilarious the more he discovered how awkward he could become.

and it gets worse.

sure, he’d be sipping wine here and there, but he never understood why it was so difficult for him to socialize. as if he couldn’t socialize at all.

that’s why when his eye catches your figure approach, his body immediately stiffens the moment you introduce yourself, averting his eyes.

fuck, you were pretty.

“are you new here?“ you innocently ask, lips to curve as you took notice of his overcome shyness.

he freezes. “what? no—”

“I-I mean, yes!” he corrects himself with a nervous grin, fingers fiddling with his glass of wine. “yes..yes I’m new here.”

“stupid.” he mumbled.

you giggled at his red adorned cheeks, a hand to gesture. “mind if I sit here?” you politely asked the stranger, capturing his attention tailed with joy.

“oh—not at all!” he shoots back with mere movement, immediately fixing his posture with a nervous laugh, allowing you to sit as he began to scoot aside. “please.” he chuckles.

you whispered a small thanks in return, settling down onto the couch beside him. it was so noticeable how heated his face had grown, feeling the warmth of your body just inches away from his.

he felt like he was gonna die.

“so…” you began, shifting your gaze towards the other.

“are you not a party person?”

that’s when jaeyun’s struck clueless as he watched those words slip off your lips, unable to think of a proper reason that didn’t display a source of embarrassment for him. he only went silent.

was..he even a party person?

it wasn’t the fact he didn’t want to attend every one,

but because he didn’t know anyone.

and somehow he felt like an absolute weirdo for always staying behind the shadows each time, every part of him just shouting at him to blend in. which was, unfortunately, not a success.

that’s why your expression went blank as you read his sullen eyes, a look full of pity growing on your face.

“I’m sorry, I just—” he starts, given an expected response. “I guess it’s hard for me to..you know,” he shrugged.

“fit in.”

but somehow, your lips always made itself to smile as you watched him sulk, attaching a comforting hand onto his shoulder.

“aw, I get it.” you sweetly say, only to pause as you met his softening eyes.

“but, you know..”

his head perks.

“I don’t mind showing you around.”

it only takes a second for jaeyun’s puppy-like expression to appear, eyes quick to widen.

“reall—?”

“give me your hand.”

and surprisingly, he didn’t know why.

maybe it was your fingers that had itself wrapped around his arm, immediately taking off with a struggling jaeyun behind.

or maybe..it was the precious smile you held that made him feel safe with you. as if you weren’t a stranger.
