In the recent chapter, we see that Sean is carrying large radio communication device that looks like the one Tella carried on his back in Loop 100. I think it might be confirmed that the device that Sean has on his back is actually Silent Voice because in the same chapter it implies that the Bike Broom artifact Latla got is Harley Quinn when Andy said that the Lab members got the rewards during the four months.

Listen, my current stance on this is a very strong, damn, I guess it is???

When Andy mentioned that Latla's bike was Harlequin, I also thought that Silent Voice would show up. Then I saw Sean and went- that can't be right.

Because, again, Tella already had his radio/backpack on this loop. Chapter 147 and 150 to be precise:

And I always thought it was kinda cute and neat that he kept his old radio and modified it during loop 100 (I liked to think that he adapted it to use his speakers with it and that's why he never updated it even though it was an old piece of tech. It was a nostalgic thing for him...)

But I don't see any other reason why Tozuka would show us Sean using that radio/ backpack after telling us about the lab recovering the artifacts, other than to make it obvious that is Silent Voice...

Not the outcome I was expecting but honestly I'll take it.

Maybe Silent Voice IS the radio/backpack but instead of being the thing that helps Tella "talk", it actually was the artifact that opened the portals in the past loop, since we never learned how that actually worked lmao.

(or maybe it's just Tella old radio/backpack adapted to, somehow, help Chikara ~see~ with sound? Like, emitting specific waves or something??? <- me coping)

In Loop 101, do you think Tella will get the artifact Silent Voice? I think this artifact might allow Tella's thought to be projected outloud allowing him to speak without using his own body. It is possible that Silent Voice might of been the speaker we saw back in Loop 100.

Hi there! Long ass reply and spoilers under the cut:

I've been hoping Silent Voice to be related to Tella since it was announced haha. I even joked on my main that if it was indeed related, I would watch Gundam (Tozuka is a big fan of Gundam and the artifact name in Japanese is written the same as the ZZ Gundam's OP's song title, in Katakana).

My guess was that it was going to help him during the Kururu's recruitment arc, to allow him to sing again (which didn't happen. Oh well).

As for it being the speaker, that's a no- Many people didn't notice it since a lot was happening in that fight, but Tella already has his speakers, since the battle against Sick:

Like I have said before, my main headcanon is that it's an adaptation of Nico's pods so he was the one who gave them to Tella on this loop (and in the previous loop Billy stole the blueprints, as I pointed out here)

Also, in a flashback from the previous loop, we can see him using a different speaker and method (connected directly to his throat) to talk:

(Maybe Silent Voice is something inside the speaker that he somehow adapted to his other set of speakers, but I don't really think so...)

I think the reason he hasn't talked using his speakers yet is because he hasn't learn how. He can talk without them, but it needs to be spontaneous or a reaction, like in the idol arc:

I honestly think he found some kind of loophole in the previous loop, found a way to not see his thoughts being transmitted to the speakers as a way of communication (for me, communication requires an intention, to have your message being received by someone. If he considers that his thoughts are just "for himself", and the speaker just happens to transmit them- that's a way around his rules). But only Tozuka knows for sure!
