So I'm in a massive writing mood right now, and I'm going to see how much I can get written of the Tyson Jost rewrite of the summer-by-the-lake fic I've been writing on an off since 2020 (lol). I have done a 2/3 rewrite so far but I really want to get it finished!

Mostly because the josty blurb that inspired me to not give up on it got such a good reception lol.

as far as current thirsting... i'm on the same page as you with Jeremy Swayman (may or may not have a rough concept for a smut fic lurking in my wip folder). Tyson Jost is also always in the back of my mind, mostly because he's not being treated right and i'll treat him right - at least in fiction. and of course Matt Martin but that's because the continuation of "Like You Were My Closest Friend" and the finale of "We're a Bad Idea" are coming soon.

Why bean loves sharks

So basically, Tyson jost and reader have a baby they nickname baby bean and Tyson is a dumbass when being left in charge and has a few of the avs over (this is how old this wip is) and they choose to watch jaws but bean wakes up and makes her way to the living room where the movie is on but no one noticed her so she sits and watches this shark and now she loves them and Tyson is not to be left alone with bean.

he didn't know: TK calls up nolan to see if his sister can stay with him for a while. she's moving to las vegas for an internship at a corporate business, and nolan swears he's never met her in his life. but agrees to let her live across the hall from his bedroom, and slowly over the couple weeks she is there, he is trying to find every which way he can to get her to stay.

dark love, dim light: bruce wayne has found himself a girlfriend. a nurse, at the gotham hospital. he is head over heels for her, truly in love with her. and even though he trusts her beyond thought, he still can't admit his little secret to her. even after the prodding from alfred, he can't do it. but he's forced to, when one night he took it a little too far.

one time in newark: dougie, a highschool history teacher, goes to a mandatory teaching conference in newark with his college and best friend, the algebra teacher. he's also down bad for her, too. one thing leads to another, and the one time in the hotel room they share for the weekend, he lets himself go. he hopes that it's not just a one time hookup.

pen to paper: after signing up for a pen pal website (as a joke) tyson gets weekly letters or postcards from a girl across the country he's never met before, but he thinks about constantly. he's eager to check his PO box every weekend to see if she's sent him something else to read in her delicate handwriting. tyson invites her to visit him, in his new home in minnesota, and hopes she'll stay a little while longer.

You know he already has a ring for you, but you have no idea when he’s going to ask you to marry him, or what you’re even going to say. On top of that, an old face returns, and your parents pay you a visit to meet your boyfriend, amongst other things that fuck with your feelings and your thoughts about Matthew

2. Letters from the Heart series - boy unknown- Most likely an OC fic told from the boy's point of view. [Insert boy here] is so in his head lately that it’s potentially ruining his future with the [insert team here]. He stumbles across the perfect person to get him out of his rut, but he has no idea who they are.

3. 4 times he was better than your date + 1 time he didn’t need to be - currently with Elias Pettersson, but I’m not sure if I’m going to keep that - No matter what happens on your date or who you go out with, Elias is always the one at the end of the night who you go home with

4. Shout Out To My Ex - No boy yet - also called 4 times he helped you get back at your ex and 1 time you didn’t need him to - your now ex boyfriend already has a new girlfriend, so now you feel obligated to show him that you’re fine since you broke up with him. Who better to do that with than the one person he hated most?

5. Priceless - Jake DeBrusk - you loved being with Jake, but his financial success and your lack thereof leads to little quips and jabs between the two of you until you finally both snap the night before his teammates wedding in Italy

6. What a man gotta do - Tyson Jost - also called 4 times he tried to propose + 1 time he did - You knew that Tyson was going to ask you to marry him, especially since you had been talking about it constantly, dropping hints, even going as far as already planning the wedding. Every time he tries to ask you to marry him, something goes wrong and he ends up backing down for the night

7. Untitled (this will probably be more of a blurb than a full fic)- Matt Grzelcyk - it’s no secret that you and Matt are serious about each other considering you constantly spend your free time with each other and sleeping over at each other’s apartments. One morning, you wake up late, scrambling to get to work on time after you realize you left something you need back at your place.
