I think sets in NH don't work as well as in NL when you put them together so I tend to mix and match pretty much all the time as a result. in NH I think my favorite is the cardboard set! I find it funny, cute and practical ahah

ooh good question! I really like the Able Sisters because of the friendship mechanic you can develop with Sable. the store is fun, you can shop, display designs and access the portal. buying in bulk is tedious but I tend to only buy pieces I like so it's not too bothersome

you know those posts where cap’s seen as a dad figure? what if one of the reasons why the other superheroes think that way is because when league members bring up there kids or need cap to cover for them when their kids need them cap is just super understanding, empathetic and gets oddly proud of them for being with there for their kids

the actual reason why he’s like that is because billy just really values those things as an orphan and is proud to work with such great people

Whenever someone mentions or even breathes the implication of Cap being mistaken as a dad or seen as a father figure, I lose my marbles, because, oh cheese and crackers, I just can't express enough how much I adore this headcanon! I'm doin' a little happy dance :D

Billy Batson is someone who has always yearned and wished to be a part of a family again since his experience was cut short due to tragedy and made sour thanks to his uncle Ebeneezer being crusty dusty, so it's easy to see him respecting those who appreciate the family they have. He had to grow up and mature far faster than any kid his age, and compared to most adults, Billy is actually more mature and responsible than they are, unfortunately. It's reasonable to see that this would be reflected in Captain Marvel; someone who's immature at times, but ultimately a good-natured person with a golden heart and good intentions, who others can depend on anytime and anywhere (much to the sacrifice of his personal life).

Billy has been in enough foster homes at a young age to know the difference between a good parent and a rotten one, so seeing members of the league prioritize their family members and kids would make him really happy. He's the type to take on any shift or mission in the place of another member if they had something important to do with their family. What you said about him being very proud and empathetic towards parents in the league made me realize that Billy would have loved to have parents like them had his own not perished. In a way, he's not just proud of them, but a little bit envious.

This also brings up another headcanon of mine, where Captain Marvel is the unofficial designated babysitter of the league when emergencies come up. Because despite not knowing who he is/his secret identity, people trust him enough to let him know theirs. Like, it all starts with the Captain in the watchtower break room drinking apple juice, and is suddenly bombarded with a group of children or sidekicks being thrown at him by the other heroes, saying that the Captain was in charge while they were away before teleporting away.

All these kids and teenagers that he suddenly has to help look after, and while Captain Marvel is calm on the outside, Billy Batson is freaking out on the inside. Some of those kids are older than he is, and there's some hilarity to it. Shenanigans ensue in the Captain Marvel: Adventures in Babysitting day, but it all turns out okay in the end. As a kid, Billy would know how to talk to them and keep them busy with fun/educational stuff. Might even teach them a thing or two about good morals, manners, archeology, or ancient magic stuff.

I imagine some of those kids would want to be babysat by him again, and Billy would welcome it (with warning ahead of time). Captain Marvel is just someone people like being around with his good dad vibes. Some of them even ask if he has kids of his own, but are met with an empty room immediately as the man zooms off whenever people ask him questions about family.

what if Y/N could see Dust San's Papyrus & like ghosts & spirit's in general

They’re gossip buddies 🥰

When Papyrus finds out that you can see him, he’s elated to finally have someone new to talk to - don’t get him wrong, he loves his brother! But his interactions with Dust have been his only interactions for years at this point, so having someone new to dialogue with is like finding water in a desert. A very sock-filled, dusty desert. He wants to talk about anything and everything, desperate for any form of contact, and as a result he’ll probably come off as a bit intense at first; he evens out a little as time goes on and he settles into the new norm, though. He’s glad he can talk to you about what he’s experienced and all of the batshit things he’s seen as a spectator - gossip buddies!

He also likes to give you advice, especially related to his brother. He thinks you’re good for him, and knows he likes you, but he worries about what Dust will be like as a partner. He understands completely how unstable Dust is and doesn’t want you getting caught in a bad situation or some sort of crossfire, both because he’s desperate for company and because of his integrity and value system.

In the end, he decides that the best course of action is to help his brother become an Acceptable Datemate and to be there for you if you need any help or advice or encouragement relating to his brother (or anything else, really - he prides himself on being the best friend anyone could ask for, and what kind of friend would he be if he didn’t help you in your time of need even if it didn’t have to do with his plans? It’s all he’s good for at this point, anyways - it’s not like he could make any other sort of difference…but nevermind that! Moping won’t help anyone!)

I’d say that in the end, most Y/Ns would end up being pretty good friends with Papyrus - especially if they were living in Nightmare’s castle for any reason, but also just in general. Dust is silently happy Papyrus is happy, and finds a lot of joy in that you two get along - despite their damaged relationship, the brothers still care for each other deeply, and that comes out in a lot of their actions. I could see Y/N being really good for their relationship as well and perhaps even acting as a catalyst for healing it :)

Which jjk character would be most excited for your birthday and the gift they will give you?

I feel like Satoru is the kind of boyfriend who intensely enjoys your birthday. He always gets excited planning every detail and surprise, and even though he has a really hard time not revealing to you what he already has in mind lol he does his best to keep it a secret. Sometimes, it's almost impossible not to notice his excitement ksjd.

Itadori and Suguru also have their own ways of making your birthday special. Suguru is calmer than Satoru. Although he always gets nervous at first because he wants to find the perfect gift for you, he ends up enjoying the date. He loves choosing gifts and although he sometimes hesitates, his excitement always grows when he sees your reaction. On the other hand, Itadori is pure energy. He loves to plan ahead, and if you enjoy parties, he won't miss the opportunity to organize a big celebration. If you prefer something quieter, he doesn't think twice about planning a weekend in a beautiful, secluded place away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Nanami, on the other hand, enjoys birthdays in a much more intimate way. A candlelit dinner, fresh flowers, soft music to dance to together, while the warmth of a slow song envelops you. For him, your birthday is the perfect opportunity to make you feel even more special, as he does every day, but with that extra touch of intimacy.

And of course, you can't miss Yuki. What made me ship it?

When I first got into DC (Tim Drake) the only Tim ship I was really aware of was timkon due to its immense popularity. I ended up really liking it (and still do!) but every now and then I'd see posts of people dunking on timber (mainly because they were bitter abt Tim not ending up with Kon). I decided to look into the ship more to see if it was really as bad as people made it out to be

And next thing I new I had a new favourite ship and favourite character lol (Bernard Dowd they could never make me hate you)

2. What are your favourite things about the ship?

There are so many thing I love about them. But I think one thing that doesn't get talked about enough was how Bernard knew Tim before he knew Robin. Yes technically Tim was still Robin when they first met, but that got upturned relatively quickly and I think they spent more time together without Tim having Robin then vice versa. So many people in Tims life that he's close with knew the mask a while before they knew him (which is a fascinating relationship in itself) and E grieves is one of the few times we see Tim without any sort of mantle. I think that there's something special about the fact that Tim, with all his identity and attachment issues around his superhero identity, ended up with one of the few people who knew him (even for a short while) as just Tim Drake.

3. Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

The fact that they have less content then other ships that have been around for decades longer is enjoyable. It means you get to fill in the blanks

I feel like with ships that have been around for so long there's less room for ambiguity to fill up. Everything is already there for you, which is fun don't get me wrong! But having the freedom to be creative and come up with ideas in a way you couldn't otherwise is part of the fun

since GJS is starting to wrap up, I gotta know: was it intentional to name Trigger after his own fatal flaw? I've always interpreted his name as like, snapshot decisions almost entirely made on impulse with no time to think things through (like changing his alias and appearance in the first place) (like pulling a gun on that one guy) (like pulling a gun on a kid) (like pulling a gun on his ex) (like pulling a-- oh my god Trigger put that down). But now towards the end I almost want to call him Sniper instead bc he's finally learning to stop and take aim before shooting and MAN is it satisfying to watch. SO THE NAME THING: was it a happy accident or did you and Space plan this from the start?

He's always been one to quick decisions if it's an easy out from a situation he wants to get away from, so the name 'Trigger' comes from that for sure! I think when we designed him initially, there was always this back and forth with what we wanted him to represent thematically, and I remember when Space helped me with his re-design (and current look in GJS) we decided that 'Trigger' was going to be his nickname he'd use to run away from his warpath (of Ex's). It's going to come up in the last bit of the story with how he feels about it, and we're excited to wrap up his messy nature of running away and funally owning up, name and all!

Remidee keeps lots of bandages and basic ointments on them, as well as some other medical supplies like butterfly stitches, gauze, pain medication, yadayada all that stuff--they're basically a walking first aid kit.

i still maintain they're an apothecary, meaning they only make medicine once someone's already been taken care of by an actual doctor and given a prescription, but no one in dreamland actually knows the goddamn difference between apothecary and Doctor so people end up stopping them and asking them to do doctor things pretty often, to which they reluctantly have also picked up that role as well for a variety of reasons

other than the medical supplies, they're a pretty well-prepared person in general, but they often travel light because they don't go too far from the castle

🩷 (Pink Heart) - If they were a Dream Friend, what would their moveset be like? How much HP do they have? Would they be a strong attacker, or would they take on more of a support role?

remidee is quite weak all around with lower hp as a waddle dee, low attack power, and not very great range. they'd probably be a bit faster and more nimble than the regular spear copy ability though. their main thing is their ability to heal, so i think they'd be a pretty good asset in arena runs actually. terrible otherwise

alexandria, on the other side of the spectrum, is an extremely skilled fighter who knows the value of not showing your cards until you absolutely need to. apart from her skill with her katars, she specializes in some nebula-like attacks. i didn't draw it, but i imagine she has something like the hollow knight dash slash as well

General Questions

All this stuff has changed the three a LOT. The lamb is uncomfortable using their powers, and they are coping with the death of many they held dear by parenting Nufosa. Nufosa doesn't really understand what happened at the cult grounds. They were there, but it's all muddy. They have a bad feeling about leaving the lamb now. Narinder is recently mortal (?) and is trying to learn to live like he always wanted. But the fact the cult is dead has taken priority, and he's a bit sour about that. Lamb and Nufosa have trauma-bonded over it, and Nufosa enjoys the normalcy from Narinder not having been there for the massacre.

After the final battle, Narinder has not made an attempt to take back the crown. He's a bit put off by it, as the crown is much more animated than it was before. (Calling it the catastrophe is a okay)

If the trio were to find a candidate to join the cult? The process would depend quite a bit on how the three are doing at the time. The most likely situation is that Nari or Yael hears something, Fosa dives into a bush (actually helpful for once), and the sheer charm of a 5 year old wins them over.

Grass jewelry is something that I made as a kid, and have given to Nufosa in my story. It's taking long strands of grass and tying together the ends into a longer string. These can be turned into loops that function as bracelets or necklaces.

Life in the cult before the catastrophe was... Complicated to say the least. The lamb was usually pretty forgiving, but if you crossed a boundary, there were very large punishments. Some have been burned alive, others flayed, and many have been left to rot to become fertilizer. This usually only happened when you did something real bad though. The lamb is forgiving.

Mystic Seller, the owls, and the fox are all aware of what happened.

Narinder only showed up for the aftermath. He has theories about what happened but so far all his ideas are incorrect. Some theories of his include: divine judgement or an overthrow from dissenters.

Yael is way too nervous about how Narinder views them to talk about what happened. They still view him as their god after all. Nufosa has been trying to ignore it, to pretend it's all one big nightmare.

Narinder doesn't really think that his siblings know anything about what happened, since they were in purgatory. He actually wants to see his family again. He's hoping they will either help him find out about it before leaving him, or that they will stick around.

Random Fun Fact/HC: in my au, the structure for time is very different. Years are composed of 150 days, with 5 months, 30 days each. Eggs actually take just under two years to hatch.

I have a whole cast of maybe 5 (maybe more) characters that are going to stick around. (Not including bishops or main three)

Narinder has had a hard time adjusting to mortality. His feet hurt, his lungs hurt and he's realized that a millennia without conversation hurt your social skills. So far he's really enjoying sleeping, sunlight, and getting to know Nufosa.

Narinder Moral Compass: He's still figuring a lot of stuff out. His main ideals I would say lean towards tolerance and autonomy.

Yael Moral Compass: also messy. I would say that they haven't forgotten their role as a servant to TOWW. Therefore theirs includes Humility and Social Responsibility.

Nufosa Moral Compass: a kiddo so very innocent justice oriented. Equality, fairness, and generosity.

Fosa has not spoken to the Mystic Seller yet. As a 99% mortal, most things would be above them in conversation.

Fosa was initially brought along with the lamb and Narinder outside of the crusades, right after they were discovered. They were nonverbal and too exhausted to move for several days. But once they started the crusade, Fosa got a bit more pep on its step!

A fun fact about Narinder: my Narinder is based on a Nevelung cat! The main reason I struggle with drawing him so much. He has a lot of long fur, and I don't know where to put it all.

The deals with the fox happened during the lamb's time as a vessel. Narinder watched through the crown when it happened, and allowed it because of its benefits to the cult.

Nufosa SAGA

Fun fact about Nufosa! You can't see it when I draw them most of the time since it's under their shirt, but they have a heart-like marking over their chest. Really fitting if you ask me :D

Nufosa was the cult mischief. It was known for getting into all sorts of trouble and sneaking out of the cult often. This, unfortunately, tended to drive off most of the other kiddos. Nufosa had about one or two friends their age. Nufosa mainly spent time with the adults.

Nufosa was too young to work officially. When they weren't causing the lamb a headache, they spent a lot of time helping out where it could on the healing bay. They like helping people.

Nufosa was very close with it's mom. Her name was Clover, named after her fantastic green eyes (which they inherited). They miss her. A lot.

Nufosa having secrets? Almost all of them are about things they got up to they didn't get in trouble for. Almost all of them.

Before the catastrophe, the lamb and Nufosa weren't very close. Nufosa was mainly a loner. The only times they really spoke one on one was when Fosa got into BIG trouble. Otherwise, the lamb was the leader and Nufosa was a cultist.

Another Fun fact! Nufosa has a habit of pulling at its whiskers or claws when they're nervous. They accidentally plucked out a whisker a couple times.

Nufosa would love really loud, upbeat music. Something in-between rock and electro.

The inspiration for Nufosa's creation: Nufosa actually started out as the Yellow Cat for my story. I didn't think it fit very well, but I still loved their role in the story, so they were hue shifted to orange so they could be distinguished from my actual YC.

We aren't sure how Nufosa is processing the events of the catastrophe. They were present for it, but they have been avoiding the topic as best they can.

Unfortunately, most of the traumatizing of the kid has already happened. A loner kid because they were too much for the other kids, ignored by the adults because they were too much trouble, the entire cult they live in dying out, and then having to watch the only two people you have close to you walk around constantly engaging in combat. They have very much taken to the role of trying to keep everyone's moods up as a way to cope.

The worst the kid has seen since the catastrophe in a physical sense has been all the fights with heretics, and more so the casualness the lamb and Narinder have with it. They don't feel very comfortable with corpses, but since they are 5 and learning, they learn from nari and lamb that it shouldn't be bothering it. In another sense, there has been this feeling of something watching them. Eyes that burrow into their skin and gazes that pierce through their skull. A constant study of every hair on their body. It scares them.

Yes! Unfortunately, Nufosa feels a lot of pressure to keep everyone's hopes up.

Funny that you mention it now, since I mentioned like 3 paragraphs ago. Nufosa is NOT my yellow cat, even if they started out as that. I have a different YC now.

Yael SAGA

Yael did real bad with the lamb genocide. (I'm pretty sure that's what you're talking about) The lamb had a sibling that they hid with during the hunts for them. Yael got separated from them during a village burning.

The lamb genocide was a free-for-all. A notice was sent out from the bishops one day, and all took out the sheep in the hopes of rewards. Elaborate systems of tracking and bounty hunters were set up. Several false safe houses were set up, once enough sheep took shelter there, they would turn in the whole lot of them. Many similar species were also hunted down in the crossfire. Sheep would break off their own horns to sell for rations and to help be less identifiable. Many amputated trying to get rid of their obvious hooves. Almost all of them were sheared down at all times. Wool was also identifying but also becoming more scarce the longer it went on, giving them another way to make rations.

The lamb has many regrets from their past. They feel horrible for so many things they've done. They just did too much. They did too little. They cannot redeem themselves.

The cult leader's life was very stressful for Yael. They usually had upwards of 50 followers at a time. Once the cult became more advanced, they settled into their role a bit better. But they never stopped looking behind them.

Fun fact about Yael! They bleat REALLY LOUD when they get spooked. It's embarrassingly loud. Like Copper yelling at a moth loud. (Sorry in advance Copp)

They viewed The One Who Waits as well... the god of death. They were really off-put by him. When they were doing well in the cult though, they would open up to him whenever he allowed them to stay.

When not using the red crown, the lamb uses the environment. Throwing rocks, quick turns through thorn bushes, and holding back branches to slap into people's faces when they come by. This by itself doesn't finish them off though.

Currently, the lamb isn't really leading the trio. They view themself as below Narinder, and therefore are not to lead while he's there. They do lead Nufosa, but that's mainly because of their parenting coping mechanism.

No, you won't go to hell for eating mutton while writing these questions. But you better find some other reason to go so I can watch you and Copper fight with cardboard tubes.

Shiun's Echo works kinda similarly to the canon MSQ version, but there is a different twist. It starts out with the usual splitting headache, but that's just the beginning sign of what's about to happen. When his Echo triggers, the power flares up and his eyes ignite into haunting blue flames while leaking tears of ash.

How wild the fire is depends on the length/importance of the vision the Echo shows him, but it always brings a great deal of searing pain- both in his head and entire body. It certainly is a lot to handle, and the first handful of times it happened really knocked him tf out. Nowadays it doesn't affect him nearly as much, but it's never pleasant.

Why his Echo is so different is unknown. Maybe it has something to do with the nature of his tumultuous soul?
