TOY DETECTIVES NEEDED !!

In 2005, my brother had his FAVORITE plushie named Hammer. He was bought at Universal Studios in the gift shop of the Jurassic Park ride. My brother took Hammer EVERYWHERE (the photos above are from our christmas card photoshoot), but unfortunately lost him, almost certainly at Denny’s. He’d gotten another dinosaur plushie (also named Hammer) as a replacement, but it was never quite the same.

I’d really like to get him another one, but I’ve looked and looked and have had no luck. I am desperate. If anyone can help find anything about him, be it manufacturer or year produced or what, it would be greatly appreciated!!!

Notable features about Hammer:

I can’t tell if he has 3 or 4 toes, but he has NO sickle claw

allegedly he was sold as a tyrannosaurus rex?? but he looks more like a velociraptor to me

T-Rex | 2006, K&M International

This is one of my childhood toys! I can’t remember exactly where I got it, but it was either at the dinosaur section at Disneyworld or at a museum giftshop. It has posable armature inside and lovely realistic detailing, especially in the face. I really like the sculptural quality of the pattern.

I took this to college with me and discovered that the back had a rip (not a popped seam) and just never repaired it until now. The toy is stuffed tightly so I had to remove a bit of stuffing out of fear of the repair job being strained. Honestly, I think it’s an unstable fix anyway because the edge of the fabric there was fragile, but it’s a display item now so I think it will hold.

I didn’t find any other pictures of this toy online. There were pictures of another smaller version, but not the one I have. I can’t imagine this toy is rare, though?

Vacation Haul! (+ Baragon)

Between the museum, aquarium, and G-Fest, Jeremy and I ended up with quite a few souvenirs! Well. Me moreso than Jeremy.

Jeremy found some really cool figures, including a burning Godzilla one that's apparently hard to find? So that was neat. I found two little mini figures that I thought were super cute! I'll probably put them on my desk in my home office c: I also got a cute beluga fridge magnet!

We both got some really neat shirts (he also got one of the 3 t. rex moon shirts but he was wearing his already lol, also I got a shirt with a beluga on it that isn't in the picture for some reason? Idk). We went halfsies on an art piece of Emi from the Ultraman movie on Netflix, which we'll be framing! Jeremy also got some art for a couple friends of ours c:

And of course, I can't go on a trip and not come home with a plush friend (or several)! When we went to the mall that had the rainforest cafe, we found an anime store and I got Koguma the little brown bear, and at the rainforest gift shop I got the frog! At the Field Museum, I got SUE the t rex and a jellycat Viggo mammoth. From the aquarium I got a beluga and a stingray. And at G-Fest I got Titanicus who is the mascot of a company called Titanic Creations, who I've never heard of but thought the kaiju was cute, and two Mothra larva plush. The bigger mothra larva is really squishy! The little one is angry, which is so cute 🥺

Also, Jeremy's burning Godzilla figure got flagged and had to be inspected by TSA 💀 It was kinda funny, so he asked the agents if he could take a photo and they agreed.

Something about Godzilla being flagged is almost poetic 🤣 The agents were super nice, and very careful not to cause any damage to the box.
