Hi nice people, this is mainly my favorite dish in the whole world so I share a bit of what is home for me! ❤️

It is typical in la Safor, even replacing the paella in many houses. Nowadays there are renewed versions such as la fideuà de foie or vegetarian options.

Ingredients

- 1 kg of herring for the broth (2 parts of soup by one of noodles)

- 200 g of grouper or monkfish

- 400 g de prawns

-200 g of cuttlefish

- Shells (optional)

- 400 g of noodles of fideuà

-Oil

- 1 /2 garlic head

- 1 onion

- 1 coarse tomato

- 1 spoon of red pepper

- Pinch of saffron

- Salt

Elaboració

- Make a fish broth with the herring and an onion.

- In a frying pan with oil, fry the prawns on a high heat; once they are golden, set them aside.

- With the same oil, fry the monkfish for a few moments, cut into thick pieces and without a bone; set them aside also.

- Then you fry the sliced cuttlefish which you will also reserve.

- In the same oil, fry a garlic and, when it is golden, fry the tomato; add the red pepper, the fish and about 2 litres of broth; let it boil -first on high heat, and then low- for a while (up to half an hour), since the quality and the perfume of the broth is very important.

- Add the noodles and add the fish and seafood cuts. Taste it with salt.

- Leave to cook for about 12 minutes (or follow the manufacturer’s instructions): first, about 5 minutes on high heat, then lower.

- Finally, let it sit for about 5 minutes before serving and decorate it with the reserved seafood.

pics 1 and 2 are from san pedro del pinatar. the former shows a procession of the virgen del carmen during holy week. pics 4 to 6 are from murcia city. the first of them depicts the cathedral, and the second one a lemon tree: lemons are a symbol of murcia, and its inhabitants are often referred to as limoneros ('lemon trees'). pic 7 was taken in cape palos. pics 8 and 9 show cape cope. finally, pic 10 depicts the calblanque regional park.

Y esto es otro castillo, bueno lo que queda de lo que un día fué un castillo. Para este no hubo dinero ni ganas ni nada, solo desprecio y abandono. Supongo que estas son de las últimas fotos de lo que un día fué un castillo, pronto desaparecerá para siempre, otro más. La verdad, la provincia de Toledo tiene una tara enorme en mantenimiento de sus castillos, si bien hay lugares fantásticamente conservados como Santa Maria de Melque, lo cierto es que los despropósitos como este son la norma general en esta provincia. Sólo he visto algo parecido en el bajo Aragón, decenas de castillos al borde de la desintegración total sin que nadie ni tan siquiera alce la voz pidiendo clemencia para lo que tanto trabajo costo construir en su día. Este es el último castillo de esta serie de castillos toledanos, no sé exactamente cuantos os he mostrado pero más de 10 seguro y de estos solo 1 estaba en condiciones y era de propiedad privada, el de Guadamur. Si bien algunos como el de Maqueda no están mal conservados por fuera, por dentro son verdaderas aberraciones arquitectónicas que destruyen cualquier atisbo de magia medieval que estos pudieran tener en su día, pero lo normal es la ruina y el abandono.
