Today is another day spent slogging to school. You think it's a waste of time—barely anyone talks to you, none of the material is useful, and the teachers, on better days, end up forgetting you even attend classes to begin with.

This time could be used better, in your most humble opinion.

At least Dirk gets to hang back and actually train. Here in these walls, you're getting rusty. Every now and then, you start fights to get better while you're away, keep your skills sharp, but after the second or third call home, it was quickly decided that it'd be better to keep a low profile, if only to keep another agency from knocking on the Strider apartment door looking for answers they couldn't possibly understand.

If there is one single thing you love more than anything about attending school, however, it's the free food. Your household apparently qualifies for free meals, so you can swipe up whatever's for sale, then glide past the rest of lunch practicing your parkour skills.

Honestly, you're shocked sometimes how no one's tried to recruit you for sports teams, yet. It must be because they're blown away by how awesome your jumps and flips are, you think to yourself as you somersault off a tree.

Of course, that's only if you stick the landing. Which, this time, you do not—you fuck up the landing so bad in fact that you accidentally kick some poor nerd in the face.

You nearly apologize, but hesitate. This is just the offensive part of your skills at play. Well yeah but you didn't actually mean it. All the while the poor kid's crying like a loser and whittles away at your already-piss poor will to be an absolute dickwad and double down.
