This USB Type C to USB 3.0 adapter cannot certainly compete with the Apple adapter. However, I will take in consideration the price. For approximately 1/3 of the price, this does its purpose (with flaws). I say with flaws because there is a design flaw in the cable. The USB 3.0 cable does not fully go in. This is a future problem because it someone or something puts pressure on the male USB cable, it will bend as it is not fully in. I will use this adapter only for home use as I am wary that either my cable to this adapter will break. I would give this product 3 stars; however, due to the price, I give this product 4 stars.
