So it’s a spell Mason performed where he was trying to get the werewolves to experience being drunk, but it’s made the person on the receiving end drunk all the time. 

Now, you know i’m all about Stiles giving accidental love confessions and we already know he’s a talkative, giggly, gets easily plastered drunk, but as Mason’s spell was for werewolves, this has to be Scott. Scott who we know keeps his cards close to his chest and feels like he can never share his pain because then he’d be a burden and he’s supposed to be the hero. Scott who is always considerate of others and so rarely considerate of himself. Scott who is the touchiest, feeliest cuddlewolf you have ever seen when he’s drunk.

He holds onto Stiles like a limpet, his grin easy, his eyes hazy. “You feel so good,” he murmurs, only for Stiles to hear. 

Earlier he was telling Stiles how he wished he’d spoken up and asked if there was any chance he didn’t want to go to Washington DC. Earlier he was saying how hard it’s been to adjust without him, how he managed it, but it still hurt, every day. 

Now, he’s spread himself all over Stiles; his arm around his shoulders, his side tight to Stiles’ side. Sometimes he leans his head on Stiles’ head and sighs. Once, he twisted and booped their noses together with a sound-effect and a giggle.

And for Stiles this is torture, because he can tell Scott he wished he never left, but that also it was a necessary growing experience. He can relate that it was the hardest thing he’s ever done and that yes, he too, felt the ache every hour. And he can tell Scott he thinks now he can be the best friend Scott deserves. But he can’t press even closer into Scott’s touches and kiss him like he wants to. He can’t take him to bed and strip them both and lie side-by-side until they’re skin to skin, perfectly aligned. And he can’t rely on Scott being this tactile again when Mason finally works out how to make him sober. If he did that, if he took advantage of this situation, if he eased himself through Scott’s boundaries like he used to when he was young -- he wouldn’t forgive himself. 

Of course, when Mason works out how to lift the spell, he also works out it hasn’t been in effect for two days. He accidentally tells Stiles this, as he’s working through the results, and then tries to cover as he clearly realizes what a breach of trust with Scott this is. 

But Stiles isn’t angry. He doesn’t feel betrayed. He feels so sad for Scott, who thought he had to pretend to get the affection he’s so clearly starving for. 

So Stiles goes to Scott and wraps him up the world’s tightest hug, and says Scott can hold his emotions close if he wants but he can always share them with Stiles. He strokes his hand down Scott’s back, brushes his thumb against the nape of his neck and says whenever Scott needs his comfort, he’s there for him. And he presses a small, delicate kiss against his lips and tells Scott there’s more where that came from, if he wants it, but if he doesn’t, that’s okay too.

When Scott kisses Stiles again, the whole world seems to spin in the opposite direction. Stiles’ hopes and dreams get temporarily suspended in mid-air. And then, finally, everything falls into place.

A) theoretically, yes. my husband’s planning on calling their fraud dept. when they open which is like 5am for us. B) Right now, as in tonight, we’re okay. (I just got back from dinner, we have power and internet etc). Tomorrow, hopefully, it will be fixed. While Kevin works on that I’m going out to the beach with a friend to try and reduce stress. If it isn’t fixed by the time I get back from Malibu, I don’t know what we’ll do.

Riiiight? I love the idea of them having to solve a crime together. WHAT IF IT WAS A DOUG JUDY CASE? AS IN: FOR DOUG JUDY??? Doug would be so smitten with Shawn and Jake would initially be jealous, but Doug would assure him he has plenty of sugar to go around.

I feel like Jake would pick up super quickly that Shawn is not psychic, but he’d also watch to check he’s not harmful and decide... hey, he’s fighting crime and doing whatever he can for the wider society, so he won’t bring it up. And also, Shawn would see how Jake married Amy and then turning to look longingly at Gus. (Meanwhile, Gus would look longingly at Shawn whenever he was goofing off with Doug and Jake, and Rosa would counsel him through it.)
