These games don’t have QTE’s and have infinite lives, the premise of them is that you are most likely going to die time and time again, and once you preservere you are rewarded.

Cool. You don’t have to play any game on easy mode, or with any accessibility features enabled. Even if you think any of these things break the spirit of a game, you shouldn’t pearl-clutch about the presence of the “broken” configuration that someone else can enjoy.

Just a heads up, after the Teen Wolf finale on Sunday my blog will be making a major shift. After watching the pilot to Deadly Class I can 100% see why Jeff chose Ben as Scott's parallel. He has this Posey-esque charm to his acting. Also the show was hella dope???

How are you liking Shadow so far? I'm 4 hours in and barely just made it to the first hub. Playing with everything on hard has been an experience.

LOVING every second of it. I have my settings at: easy combat (because combat usually sucks in these games), normal puzzles (where she’s SUPPOSED to give you hints from time to time, but he hasn’t yet more than like once, so...), and exploration set to hard.

That’s not the argument. I agree with all of that. But again, these games can’t really accommodate most of that without taking apart the mechanics in a way that break the design.

Pretty sure that disabling QTEs, granting infinite lives, and slowing the pace of a game “break” (one idea of) the intended design of these games, but you just agreed to that. You can’t have it both ways.
