How did you come up with your human Bill design?

I described my goal in the first post I made about his design:

After seeing dozens of tall dapper skinny white twinky anime boy Bills, I wanted a design that matches none of those words. My other two goals were to use the show’s art style; and to lightly pay homage to Alex Hirsch’s “canon” human Bill with the triangle body… except not deliberately hideous.

My unspoken final goal was "and I'm gonna make him damn good looking."

All the colors were sampled from Bill & Bipper, except his skin (which I sampled off a background character and tweaked until it looked good with the yellows) and his gold tooth (which I sampled off of Ergman Bratsman's).

On top of the fact that I was tired of specifically white dude Bills, brown skin tone was chosen because of the emphasis on Bill's interactions with ancient Egypt; I wasn't sure at the time how much of an influence I was gonna headcanon he had on the region, and it woulda felt weird depicting Egyptians bowing down to a white dude. (And then I decided to deemphasize his influence on Egypt almost completely lol.) It woulda been more accurate to go darker, but I was worried it would start to tilt his design into Nyarlathotep-esque Creepy Pitch-Skinned Mysterious Demonic Threat From The Orient racist territory, especially when he's already got demon eyes.

The triangular torso is the most important part of his design, I usually draw an equilateral triangle in the sketch layer and then pad it out.

If I were a better artist a year ago, I would have given him a double chin so his head+torso together would be triangular. But when I tried, I couldn't figure out a way to draw it that looked appealing instead of like a mean fat joke. So I took the coward's way out and gave him a skinny neck with a vaguely triangular chin, and now write him complaining about having a neck every few chapters.

I think the skinny neck, thinner face, noodle limbs, and typical baggy hoodie fooled people into assuming he's skinny. I figured out a way to draw a rounder face with less neck that looks more appealing to me than the original face, so I do that now. Can't do anything about the noodle limbs tho, those were chosen to match Bill's canon noodle limbs.

I went for a hoodie instead of the typical suits you see on human Bills for two reasons.

One: several years ago I had an OC I'd conceived of as a dumb kid who'd given Bill permanent standing permission to use her as a puppet, and when letting Bill take over she'd hide her human features by wearing a hooded poncho and tying a blindfold with an eye on it over the hood, and that idea stuck with me.

And two: for the story I came up with this design for, the premise is that Bill's been recently unhappily stuffed in a human body and dumped on his enemies' doorstep. So, he doesn't have the freedom or money to get fancier clothes; he's too depressed over being stuck in a human body to care much about his human appearance; and he's most comfortable in something that obscures his human anatomy and reminds him of his real form. If he was rich, free, and able to ditch the body any time he wanted, he'd be wearing suits.

now here’s some never-before-revealed lore and headcanons!! (this all takes place in a story I’ve never created except in my head 💀 also some have been told, I’m just reiterating them):

-This is how LJ generally looks between the years 1817 to 1886. He was “born” in 1803, stayed with Isaac for one year, got stuck in the box for 13 years, and only started wearing bandages in 1817 once he became a target to the public. As he started getting more wounds, he found out that they would open up easily and opted to wear bandages most of the time.

-He can’t eat as he lacks a digestive system. Instead, he feeds on human interaction. The more positive the interaction, the better it is for him. Because he had such a poor relationship with humans during these years, he ends up looking starved. He’s quite weak in this state, and the only thing keeping him alive is his wit and his sharp nails for weapons.

-His limbs are black right above the connection of his joints (knees and elbows). The rest of his skin is white.

-His hair would be naturally curly, but due to improper care and the long length dragging it down, it ends up looking wavy and sometimes even straight, albeit very frizzy and/or greasy.

-In 1886, that’s when LJ and Lillian first meet (omg OC and canon??? gross 😰🤢). They create a pact, and he starts getting more positive interaction with humans. As he gets more “sustenance,” his wounds start to heal properly and he gets stronger. Unfortunately, most of his wounds have scarred over at this point and they remain on his body as it’s now recognized as “healthy” tissue. (Placement of scars will be in another post)

-Lillian is 23 when she first meets LJ.

-Before his strength improved, Lillian could actually beat LJ in an arm wrestling contest!! But after about a few months of being together, that was no longer the case. (Lillian’s ego was a little hurt, but it was inevitable 😞)

-Although it looks like it, he never actually felt starved. He doesn’t experience typical feelings like hunger or fulfillment.

-Sadly, he’ll never retain his curl pattern. Lillian tries very hard to get it back as she has her own experience with her hair, but she can never get more than a few curls on his head. She gives up at some point and just accepts his wavy/straight hair as is. LJ truly doesn’t care either way. If he had his way, he’d probably forget and never wash it again.

as for the face scar! i’ve debated for a long time whether to have that as the origin bc i thought it was too cruel but it stayed in the end- it’s probably the hardest one he’s had to overcome despite it being the smallest major scar. every time he looks in the mirror he’s reminded of how he failed reuben. how can it be that he only gets a small scrape while his best friend loses his life? all because of jesse’s mistakes?

He's autistic and has adhd! Obviously.

stims by tapping his fingers against things, waving his hands around, quickly taking apart and putting back together trinkets he's made, mimicking dragon noises (tho over time he's realized their vague meaning and stopped doing it randomly bc it was confusing them), running his hands over toothless' head to feel the texture of his scales and (when he was younger) petting his fur vest

His 'obsession' with things (trying to one up viggo, and when he was working on his sword) is literally just him Hyperfocusing on things

Easily loses track of time when he's locked in (Hyperfocused) working on inventions

Has that random 'I need to info dump NOW' thing and wakes Astrid up in the middle of the night like to randomly talk about abnormal behavioral patterns in a new terror flock on berk and Astrids just like 'babe I love you but it's three am'

Dyspraxic. When he was a kid he spent so much time practicing coordination for things like learning to write then later working in the smithy, and almost gave up more than once before continuing out of spite.

immunocompromised. Like seriously Hiccup has a weak ass immune system and would get sick every winter as a little kid, to the point of it being fatal. The villagers would always talk in hushed tones (bc of stoick caught them they'd get yelled at) and wonder if that years gonna be the one where he doesn't make it but he always ended up pulling through (also out of spite)

After meeting Toothless he developed tinnitus. Didn't think much of the ringing in his ears at first bc. Yknow, dragon roared at full volume directly into his ear. Then it didn't go away and he was like 'huh maybe this is an issue' then it just got worse as he continued to be in close proximity to loud noises like, even more roaring, and explosions etc.

Despite this he's got that weird "I enjoy loud noises like dragons roaring and the sound the wind makes when you're flying at like 40 mph, but if I hear the noise of lots of overlapping voices all having different conversations in a large room I need to die."

Chronic pain. The obvious, phantom pains in his leg of course, but fun fact! The human body really doesn't like it when you've broken bones repeatedly especially in the same area, and with how much this kid gets thrown around in rtte it's safe to say he's broken, fractured, and dislocated a lot of things.

When he comes home/gets back to the edge after a long day of traumatic or ridiculous events, first thing he does is take Toothless' saddle and prosthetic tail fin off, then he tries to crash in his bed, but either Toothless doesn't let him sleep until he's taken his prosthesis off (I hate that he sleeps with it on in canon looking at it makes my body hurt imaging how uncomfortable that'd be), or Astrid comes in to make sure he does (and also to make sure he eats bc he forgets to wayyy too often).

Asthma. No explanation. I just know he has it

I hope not all of these came off as super angsty, they aren't meant to completely. Like sure it sucks but he's allowed to not be miserable constantly (disabled people are allowed to not be miserable constantly, it doesn't make our pain any less valid. We're allowed to be happy).

I just love when characters are permanently, physically, changed by their story. Tbh if it weren't for rampant ableism, I think a lot of characters in action/adventure stories would be disabled, but people aren't ready for that discussion yet. Some people like to headcanon Damian as looking more like Bruce, some more like Talia, I like a middle ground, I headcanon Damian as a mix of both

I like to think he has dark/tan skin and green eyes with some hazel specks that come from Talia, his eyes's shape also from her, his nose can come either from her or from Bruce (so it's either straight or aquiline), his mouth is from Bruce (not too thin, not too thick), his face shape is from Bruce, his hair color can come from either of them, so it's either black or dark brown. His face proportions are from Bruce. He's one of the tallest from the batfam, around the same height as Bruce and Jason. His body proportions can come from either side, bc both Bruce and Ras are tall, muscular and large. And he would look good with a stubble, and somehow, having a stubble would make him look more like Bruce, but also more Arab.

He also has a suave deep voice, soft spoken, with a nice accent, a mix of Arab, British and American accent.

It's canon he doesn't like to wear suits (like gala suits, not superhero suits) because he prefers freedom and comfort. He's not American, so I headcanon you will rarely see him in his sweats on the streets. I like myself a man who cares about his appearance. So I headcanon his wardrobe it's full of clothes so simple that he can choose whatever he wants and still be comfortable, elegant, and put together. Damian is very edgy, so I give him rings, necklaces, even some earrings, some chains for streets style, all in gold. He wears mostly dark colors. Dark/cold winter pallete. Lots of black, dark green, dark blue, maroon, dark grey, and some white. His style is a mix from dark academia, edgy and e-boy, but never too much of either of them. At home, he's comfortable in pjs and athleisure.

Also the hair style I like to imagine him the most is short and buzzed on the sides and long at the top, it's hard to explain, but my favorite Damian's outfit and hair is exactly like this fanart:

And if we canon that after Alfred died he didn't get a haircut again bc Alfred was the one who did it, then I like to imagine him in Tim's long hairstyle, until he gets it buzzed on the sides and long at the top, to still keep the long part in memory of Alfred, but it gets so long that he's always tying it up, like this, and that's when he decides that too much is too much and gets a haircut again after years.

one night, he tried to drink around you, and was admittedly very surprised when you didn't want to

the two of you were practically attached to the hip, you two did everything together! so...why was this any different?

once you explained everything to him, he immediately understood and put the alcohol away and makes a fun soda/cider kind of drink instead!

over time, he starts drinking a lot less. on the odd occasion that he does get drunk, he just lets you know and stays kind of far away (he'll miss you greatly, but your comfort is safety is far more important to him)

will come to you the next day, hung over and clingy, but most of all; so happy to see you

he hates the taste and gets 0 enjoyment off being drunk. him coming home wasted isn't something you have to worry about

however, if you're at a place like a party or a festival, where there's a large collection of drunk people, he'll immediately whisk you away and take you somewhere else; wherever you want to go

if you two go back home, he'll immediately start to pamper you. he wants you to remember that you don't owe him anything. that you aren't a child stuck as a parent

he knows you weren't exactly abused or anything, but he's still careful with his touches regardless, only wanting you to be comfortable

expect gentle massages and light kisses. he'll praise you on how well you're doing, no matter if you're freaking out, or if you're just calm

similar to scara, gorou only drinks for polite reasons, or if there's something to celebrate. he never goes too far

however, if he does get drunk, he might get a tad bit clingier. not to the point where he's totally helpless; just more affectionate

if you need him to step away because you're getting upset, he'll do so with no complaints. he knows your boundaries need to be respected

will 100% show up with a bouquet and a box of candies the next day as an apology, even if he didn't exactly do anything wrong

gorou would probably stay the night with a buddy to make sure you don't end up triggered or scared. the last thing he wants is for you to be unsettled because of him or something he did

listens if you need to just vent and talk abt it. he understands that what you went through was traumatic, and that seeing someone you love in that very same state must hurt you to a degree. he'll just hold you and comfort you, providing all you need <3

But by Junior year James couldn’t deny that Morgie had a thing for you, he knew it should make him jealous but something about how his roommate- his best friend- stared at you was so hot 

And you’d have to be stupid to pretend you didn’t see that the sorcerer had a little thing for your boyfriend, hazel eyes always locked on Hook’s pouty lips while the two spoke, constantly trying to find a reason to touch him

When the two of you confronted it, talking about the boy between lazy kisses, both of you came to the realization that you wanted him too

So who could blame you two for asking him if he wanted to join you?

At first, Hook tried to hide that he was so submissive when it came to you, but Morgie-Who had watched from the sidelines for years by that point- knew better than that. It was no shock that you wore the pants so to speak

Quickly it fell into a rhythm, You were always the dominant one while Morgie and Hook were both switches in their own right. There was no true rhyme or reason to who leaned more submissive, it just sorta worked out

Hook Focused head canons:

He won’t admit it outside of the two of you but James is needy

And a giant brat

You never know if you’re getting him lounged across you like a house cat or extreme sass and attitude until one of you puts him back in his place and you love the unknown aspect of it- of him

He loves to hit you with a “make me” when you tell him to do something (Morgie gets an equal but different “bite me”) just to see the way you smirk, knowing he’s in for it

He’d die if his other friends knew though (Something that drives Morgie crazy because Hook is the biggest tease he’s ever met and he loves to catch an attitude in the hideout) 

He loves to playfully pull away from your lips so you’ll thread your hands through his hair and force him to hold still while you kiss him properly, sighing into your mouth at the contact 

James adores when you baby him though, he longs for it

Morgie making him sit on the bathroom counter so he can shave his face or you straddling his lap and putting his makeup on for him

If his boots come untied, you’re on the ground tying them for him before his mind has fully processed that it even was undone.

Doing his hair for him, or messing up his hair, really just anything that has to do with you touching his hair

He loves to push his luck in public for the thrill of you or Morgie shoving him against the door or wall to kiss him the second you’re all alone

Pull his hair while kissing him, Force him to look you in the eye while you speak. He eats it up, he likes when you two get more aggressive with him, especially if it’s you. The way you refuse to deal with his attitude drives him wild 

If he thinks Morgie is getting more attention than him he’ll lay across the two of you and genuinely pout, whining about how you both “hate him and want him to die” because he is the most dramatic boy to ever live

You often hold his hook, leaving his good hand open for Morgie to take but if you’re in the middle of the two of them it’s always his good hand, rubbing calming circles on the back of it with your thumb

Buries his face in your neck when he’s upset, playing with his hair while he’s snuggled into you like that will always calm him down

He’s melting into your touch if you or Morgie wash his hair for him, it’s his favorite act of love

Polishing his hook for him is also a love language in his mind

If y'all are spooning he absolutely has to be the little spoon

Loves it when you undo his shirt for him absent-mindedly pressing kisses on his face and neck and shoulders as you do. There’s nothing more to it, just you doing something minor to care for him all on your own 

He can’t sleep alone, if you’re not over he’s curled up against Morgie (not that the sorcerer would complain about the way his head fits so perfectly in the side of his neck, the boy is so warm when even in the summer Morgie can find a reason to shiver)

Unlike his boyfriend, Morgie very rarely has an attitude but by god is he clingy

Making grabby hands at one of you when you dare to be in a different part of the room from him

Laying on your back if you’re refusing to cuddle him for any reason because he needs the closeness

Adores laying on top of you with his arms tucked underneath you 

And he doesn’t care who sees it when he’s being needy, he proudly claims the two of you, you make him feel safe

He can pout like no one’s business though, Morgie knows how to get his way and make Hook think it was his idea (doesn’t work on you though, something he’s come to accept) 

Hug him from behind, it makes him feel good to know you give him affection just because you want to and not because he asks for it

He doesn’t prefer to be babied but he does like to be taken care of, to him there’s a major difference

Loves when you put one of your jackets on him and zip it up for him or when you drape it over his shoulders when you notice him shivering

Or standing between your -or Hook’s legs- letting you wash his face after calming him down, the gentle motions gaining  you all of his attention

He prefers to be in between you two, the middle spoon or the middle person while y’all are walking side by side, he likes to know he has both of his partner’s attention without having to fight for it. 

Doesn’t mind if you or Hook get rough with him but he prefers gentle touches. Softly hold his jaw while you kiss him, slide a hand into his back pocket when you walk with an arm around him. Card your fingers through his hair while he’s laying in your arms talking to you

He likes to sit on the floor, between your knees with his head in your lap while you play with his hair

He loves verbal dominance too. “Let me help you”, “Baby, come here”, “That’s my boy” it makes him feel appreciated, like you really see him 

Sits on your lap a lot, likes to feel your arms wrapped around his waist and your cheek pressed against his shoulder (likes it more when you tell him to do it)

He’s definitely the type to distract you from what you need to get done so he can lay in your arms for longer

Loves praise, you can get him flustered by simply telling him he did a good job on a test

Whiny, worse than Hook when it comes to being whiny, the boy nearly begs for things

Loves it when you get possessive over him, especially when Uliana is giving him a tough time

Nuzzles against you like he’s trying to scent you (maybe he is)

Call him “Baby”, “Sugar”, or “Sweetheart” and he’s a mess between your adoring hands, eyes looking up at you with stars in them 

Even if he’s not as submissive, he’ll sometimes ask you for permission for things (Mainly if you’re kissing James and he wants to)

When he is feeling completely submissive though, he loves looking to you for approval, nearly glowing if you specifically give him permission to do something without him having to ask (not that he needs your permission to begin with)

More of them together:

Morgie isn’t a brat on his own but when they’re both feeling more submissive Hook has no trouble coaxing him to be bratty with him. You have your work cut out for you if it’s one of those days. Nothing’s worse than one sassy man but two of them 

If you are sleeping over, most of the time you lay between them, they’ll both lay their head on your chest, letting their intertwined hands rest on your stomach. You’ll scratch Morgie’s head with the hand on his side while your other arm is around James’ waist pinning him to you with all three of your legs becoming one big tangle in Morgie’s bed

Grabbing the nape of Hook’s neck to pull him off of Morgie’s lips when you walk in on them making out, kissing him from behind while Morgie’s lips find a new home on the boy’s jaw. His half-lidded doe eyes look so pretty while he’s looking at you with hunger in them. 

Or holding Morgie still while Hook tickles him, the boy is absolutely the most ticklish person you know. 

They both love seeing you get jealous, especially since they know you can’t get set off by them. Heaven forbid some princess starts flirting with James or Uliana gets too handsy while trying to get Morgie to do something she wants. They know they’re going to end up with your hands all over them, whispering in their ear about how they better know they’re yours. It’s unbelievably hot to them

Heaven forbid they decide they want you to stop what you’re doing so you’ll pay attention to them, they’re pulling out all the stops until they can get what they want from you. 

You’re always touching one of them in some way, sometimes both of them. A hand on Hook’s shoulder, a leg thrown over Morgie’s lap, your arms both wrapped around their waists. 

Leaving visible hickeys on them, literally marking them as yours -especially on their jawlines or collar bones (something Morgie does in fact beg for) 

Sometimes Morgie kisses James purely so you’ll grab him by the neck to focus him back onto you. He doesn’t do it often but something about kissing you over his shoulder like that while James’ hands are on his hips is intoxicating

The fun thing about so much of Dick's Robin run being stories from the golden age is that you can headcanon stuff like Batman teaching Dick to drive age 10 by tying three pairs of shoes together and sticking it to his feet so he can reach the batmobile pedals and who's going to tell me I'm wrong huh? Sure maybe during Tim Steph and Damian's eras Bruce prioritises child safety over wacky fun training methods but during Dick's era your Batman can be as ridiculous and campy as you like and you can make a canon case for every dumb idea you come up with.

911 isn't that deep. I know we love our theories, headcanons, and the idea that writers might be foreshadowing future storylines. Admittedly, the writers are skilled at setting up characters and connecting the dots when the opportunity arises. For instance, they did an excellent job crafting Buck’s backstory, perfectly tying together everything we know about him and explaining who he is as a person. But they aren’t constructing some grand, deeper plan. What we see on screen is what it is.

In episode 704, it’s Tommy that Buck is spending time with when Eddie interrupts them, which already sets the stage for how the story will unfold and who’s creating the tension. From the first scene with the three of them, it’s clear—Tommy and Buck are the focal points, with Eddie acting as the disruptor. Buck wants to be invited to Trivia night to spend time with Tommy. He goes to the basketball court for the same reason. When Buck sees Tommy’s attention on Eddie during the game, he craves it for himself. Later, Buck is thrilled when Tommy shows up at his apartment.

If Buck were truly interested in Eddie, he would have been hanging out with Eddie from the start, with Tommy as the one interrupting. He would’ve accepted Eddie’s previous invitations to the basketball game. The conversation at the apartment would have centered around Eddie, not on making Tommy feel better.

Whether people want to admit it or not, Eddie was the obstacle in episode 704—something Tim Minear himself has stated. The idea that Buck was jealous of Tommy for getting Eddie’s attention just isn’t true, and it’s embarrassing to claim otherwise. Yes, I’m especially referring to certain so-called journalists who thrive on riling up fans.

We’ve agreed countless times that some fans lack media literacy. But sometimes, it’s truly shocking how much they refuse to see what’s actually canon.

Gale + Tara Headcanons

I love Gale so much. SFW Headcanons only, relationship and also just general life headcanons I have about the worlds saddest oxymoron.

Labeled TW: Gale got groomed. We are going to be discussing today Because even if he was an adult(which he probably wasn't) he still got groomed because Mystra had so much power over this man.

General TW: Gale has self hatred issues. I hate Mystra. We will be talking about Mystra in depth I promise. Also Gifted kid burn out and general tying all of your self worth to a talent.

So, body type head canon because Gale does not have abs. You cannot look me in the eyes and tell me Gale has abs. He is soft and a little squishy and very huggable.

Man is a cuddler. He always wants to cuddle. Whether it be you two be lounging on a sofa, each reading/doing your own tasks well you snuggle together, spooning in the morning, laying together after a night of passion, or whatever reason he can get to just hold you in his arms.

I think he is touch starved other than Tara. Which as great as Tara is it is not human touch. And gods don't... really physically touch. So I don't think he got very much physical affection from Mystra. So being touched, being held with your hands and feeling your flesh on his means so much to him.

He doesn't think he is good at it. But he still really likes to do it. If you ask him to cuddle with him, he will flip in his heart because it makes him the happiest man in the world to know you want to cuddle with him as much as he wants to cuddle with you.

Tara likes you. She likes you fast. She begins telling you all of Gale's stories from when he was younger, how sweet of a boy he was and how he would use his beginning magic to help people. If you give her attention she will purr so loud. Gale and Tara both really like chin scratches.

She begins calling you "Mrs/Mr/Mrx. Dekarios" pretty damn quickly. she has accepted you as his partner which she never did Mystra. it really throws Gale off when she does it. He admittedly thought Tara was so against Mystra because she was a lover period.

Tara also may begin to favor your lap. If this happens, Gale is... shocked and disappointed "You have stolen not only my heart, love, but my Treyssem as well." "Would you like to repeat that, Mr. Dekarios?"

And he wonders why she favors your lap.

She also favors you lap because she has to thank you for keeping her sweet boy alive for her. She may even allow you the honor to stroke her stomach a few times.

She also brings you gifts, magic items, trinkets, carcasses, whatever she can get her paws on and thinks you would like.

She takes you in fast and begins asking for grand babies. She wants grand babies and Gale's mother wants grand babies. The topic of course make your flustered each time and Gale denies the possibility of being a good father, but Tara is pretty insistent.

Morena also loves you as well and you best believe she is showing you pictures from Gale's childhood and telling you as much information as she can. Poor Gale just sits there and is extremely flustered well she recounts even his less flattering tales... but he does nothing to stop it.

He is really happy his mom and Tara both like you. It makes him the happiest man in the world.

Gale likes to cook for you. A lot. He cooks the fanciest, gourmet food and he is extremely good at it. He will set up fancy candle lit dinners with music in the background. This is basically every night but he tries to make sure it never truly loses its luster. (It never does).

He also makes you breakfast in bed. He has to crawl away from you in the morning to feed Tara and so he just makes you breakfast and comes back freshly deserved.

If you cook together man is smiling so much his jaw hurts. I cannot describe to you the joy he feels having you by his side, helping him cook.

Expect so much love poetry all of the time. Even when you are questing or not he will just slip a small piece of paper into your hand with all of his affections written down as poems.

He also quotes poetry verses that make him think of you, to you, at random times. He is hoping to make you smile with all of them.

Gale is so sweet to you all of the time. He treats you like you are divine, and to him you are. Complete gentleman all of the time. He does not carry anything. You could be a fighter with a 20 in strength with thighs and arms that could crush his fucking head like a grape, He will still insist on trying to carry anything heavy for you. He holds doors, pulls out chairs, makes sure your wine is refilled. He is so doting.

Man feels guilty that he is doing so little to help you at times. He wants to do more for you then he does. He tries to make sure you are pampered at all times. Kisses, gifts, fancy shows, lovely nights together.

But he tries to do more. he always makes sure to protect you in battle. He will take attacks, using shield and mage armor to make sure he can take as many hits as needed to protect you. He will be your knight in magic armor, a dashing smile well he does so.

This often leads to the ES(Emergency Shadowheart) because Gale is an over-confident wizard but if you are safe he doesn't care. If you are meant to be a tank, you may need to have a chat with him about the fact he is the squishy wizard man and you can protect him.

But it is Gale.

If you get sick or injured or anything Gale is fretting over you. He is holding you and yelling for Shadowheart like you are going to die at this moment. Even if it is a small thing he is very dramatic and very scared of losing you.

When you get sick or are on your period he makes sure to give you medicine to help with illness and pains, magic hiding the taste, and so much good food.

Tara also rests on your lap and acts like a heating pad. Purring and trying to help you feel better.

So like, after the ending I think Gale and you take a break from everything and just, go and look around. And Gale takes a break from magic. He can still love the art, and he will go back to it but I just think he needs to take a step back because magic and his talent for magic has kind of defined Gale his entire life.

I think him taking a break and just... being a person rather than a wizard for a little a while. He can be both, he knows he can. But he will need time and a deep breathe. He will go back, he loves to do magic. It means the world to him. But absences makes the heart grow fonder. And I think working on other skills he can be proud of and knowing Magic is one of the many things he is good at rather then the ONLY thing he is good at will do him wonders.

So I am going be talking about Gale's trauma a lot in the lower half of this. First, Gale's confidence issues and how fucked up the orb is. There will be comfort with Tara and you. After that we are going to get into the problem. The problem will come up in this section, however not the fact Gale got Groomed. That will be another different section.

Warning out of the way:

I think his self confidence and self image is being held together by the type of "I am good at magic". He was a prodigy and I think Gale only saw worth in his magic and his skill on it. He loves to do it too but at the same time he HAS to be good at it, or it feels like. He respects people who are better.

He did fuck up with the orb, but I also think he wasn't fully aware of what he was getting himself. Yes he should have known not listening to Mystra was a bad idea, but she didn't explain exactly what he did wrong until Gale talks with her in the game. This is years later.

Gale really needed Tara after he went from Mystra's Chosen and the Lover of Mystra to a fool who flew too close to the sun and came crashing down in a brilliant display of horrible glory. Man ruined his life, lost everything, and had a problem that Mystra gave him no ideas how to fix.

Mystra DID NOT EXPLAIN ANYTHING TO GALE UNTIL THAT CUTSCENE IN GAME YOU GET AFTER MYSTRA TELLS GALE TO BLOW HIMSELF UP. Gale was kept alive due to Tara. Tara was the one who flew off and found out how to help Gale.

I also think the only thing Mystra valued with Gale's magic knowledge and abilities. She is a goddess, she doesn't really eat human food, Tara and Mystra didn't each other, she is a goddess and I doubt physical touch was common.

So I think Gale being rude to you about magic, especially if you are a different class who can do magic and he insulted you, is because the is grasping with issues of trying to remind himself he is a good mage. This does not excuse his behavior. But I think when he realizes what he did he is going to apologize whole heartedly

One day he is just thinking about how you first met and he just realizes 'I was awful!"

He is going to hold your hand to his cheek, and apologize for doing that. Because you make him realize that he is more than his magic. He is more then what he has been called talented for and tied everything too for so long.

He isn't a failure if he fails with his magic.

Don't get me wrong, Gale can get ahead of himself and is pushy. I want to flick him in the head as soon as he begins thinking trying to become a god is a good idea in the first place. It is a horrible idea as much as I hate Mystra, don't want Gale to become a god. He deserves to be a good man with his wine, his library, his treyssem, and, should fates permit, you.

So, we are going to start talking about Mystra being a P*dophile and just the worst emotional manipulator. When we get to talking about it I am not censoring the word.

So, Gale was like, 17 to 23 I believe the range is. And even if Gale is in the later half of that, he still got fucking groomed by Mystra because Mystra had and still has so much power over Gale.

She is the goddess of his greatest asset. His magic. And as we just discussed, the goddess of the thing he ties all of his self worth to. Mystra was literally someone he worshipped. She IS the goddess of magic. Gale had no power in the relationship and never did.

Mystra knows this. She is smart enough to know what is doing is fucking horrible, and get it, she is a god, but she is also a straight up pedophile. We all know about the fact people LITERALLY HIDE THEIR CHILDREN FROM HER.

I do not doubt that being Mystra's chosen meant doing everything she asked. I don't think Mystra took no for an answer in any matters. I also think mistakes were punished with emotional manipulation. Not violence like we see with Shar or Vaalikith (She sorta counts) but gods did he make Gale feel worthless if he failed.

I think Gale feels guilty for a lot of things a lot he shouldn't feel guilt for. I think one of the biggest things Mystra would make Gale feel guilty for was talking to basically any one else if it was not a work relationship.

I would not doubt if Mystra cut Gale off from his mother and would have from Tara if Tara was anyone else. Mystra is noted as a jealous goddess if you are dating Gale. I do not doubt that jealousy was a pretty frequent thing.

Tara hates Mystra with every bone in his fluffy body and tried so hard to talk to Gale but Gale would not listen to her because, well- she is his boss, his teacher, his lover and also the person who controls the thing he ties his self worth too of course he is going to listen to everything Mystra said.

Also Mystra 100% cut Gale off from any source of help he could actually get. Again, Tara was the one to find out about the orb. And I think more than just shame, embarrassment and being a laughing stock from one of the greats, I think Mystra made sure no one was going to be talking to Gale.

I want DLC where we beat the fuck out of Mystra. I really want to kill her. I know I cannot but she is terrible and she deserves death. I know I am captain obvious right now but I cannot stress this enough.
