haha yeah this is a great party *grabs your face and stares intensely into your eyes* do you remember that batman comic where Bruce went to a boarding school and his only friend stopped showing up one day and then the headmaster made Bruce lean over his desk so he could beat him with a stick where Bruce had full view of his friends decapitated head in his trash bin so he gets his dad to pick him up and then that night his dad says, "let's all go and see a movie tonight :)" and it is heavily implied that that's when they all see zorro and get killed

One Year Anniversary

Hey everyone!!

I wanted to make a little post because The Lonely Shore is a year old today!

I can't believe it's been a year already tbh. I wanted to thank you all for reading, enjoying, and coming along on this journey with me. I can't put into words how much all of your support has meant to me <3

I'm not doing anything big to celebrate, since I'm focusing my efforts on the next chapter (and working on some little winter drabbles). Still, I wanted to make a post to say thank you.

There's a poll to determine which drabble I post first, so if you haven't yet and you'd like to, go ahead and vote!

Otherwise, thank you all again for your support, and I'm excited to continue working on and sharing TLS!

I have a guriten prompt! (For if you ever want to do it or if you ever have the time!!) tenma and grimmer slow dancing🙏 it could be just normal then or them as girls hehe! Either one would look awsome🤩

As soon as I got this prompt I had this idea of them going to refill their glasses during a late night of drinking together. One thing leads to another and they end up dancing together in the kitchen while music plays from the other room~

I got way too carried away with this one, but it really was so sweet and I wanted to try to capture the image that came to me and has been sitting for quite awhile <3

(I also just want to say I really appreciate how kind and patient everyone is with the prompts! You're all very sweet!)

i was gonna say i'm unsure whether you're referring to the Gender Stuff or the Job Stuff but honestly it's all connected; i think he's maybe like 75% of the way to realizing that part of why it hit him so hard that thespius's work was rejected was because he related a bit too much to the queer themes himself, and it was all too easy to cut out the middleman; if he were to stay at his job, he'd have to treat himself no differently than all the scripts that pass over his desk: cut anything Unappealing, strip down everything that makes him who he is, act as an unobtrusive cog in a corporate machine

it'll still be a bit of time before he realizes precisely what it is that he's been cutting out about himself, but he's certainly on his way <3
