something to elaborate on when i have the energy to get deeper into it: byan hates silence. they cannot exist comfortably in silence. there has to be some sort of noise around them at every moment of every day because otherwise the anxiety starts to creep in and their attention starts being drawn to the thoughts that they keep buried away and it's just... it's bad. they hate it. even while sleeping they keep something playing on their phone, be it music or a video, bc they just cannot handle everything being quiet.
