this would be so cute and silly i think. at first they'd hate each other sm. suguru wouldn't say anything out right but there would be signs and he'd be leaving subtle hints. they're always glaring at each other too.

imagine it's still early on in your relationship, and you invite him over for the first time and he's sooo excited to get to know you in your own space yk but as soon as you two walk in your big ass dog is hogging all of your attention and always managing to be position himself between you and suguru.

but as your relationship progresses suguru slowly gets over it and so does your dog. they figure out their own dynamic and end up fond of each other each caring for and loving you in their own way . he probably gets over it cuz your dog protected in you in a dangerous situation when suguru wasn't there or smth like that

8. How slow is a slow burn?

i don't really read or write a lot of slow burn (no patience) (no attention span) (brain not work) so i know this is like a contentious discussion but i have no horse in this race so personally. to me. slow burn is about vibes. i do think you can't achieve a slow burn in like a 1k fic. i think it's difficult to achieve in a oneshot. but i am not a wordcount purist i think slow burn is about a sustained IV drip of tension and if you can achieve that with comparative brevity than i say fuck yeah

28. Any writing advice that works for you and you feel like sharing?

here's one i prepared earlier

this reads like a shitpost because it is (im a shitpost) but this has legitimately saved my ass so many times. writing for fun is supposed to be fun, a thing i forget constantly. sometimes i have a plan where the fic needs to get from / include a through to d, and then in the middle i can't figure out how to get it there, and i get caught up in how to do it 'right' and what will 'make sense' and what i am 'allowed to do' and what will be 'appropriate' and how to 'effectively convey my meaning' and it all gets so incredibly much that i have to be like alright. record scratch. reset. close your eyes and feel the vibe. what's the vibe saying. completely unrelated scene? ok let's do a completely unrelated scene. akechi goro talks about the iliad for two thousand words because that's what you feel like doing? ok. let's do that. and maybe while you're doing that it'll mosey back on track. or maybe it won't, but you can link it back somehow. or maybe it won't, but it sufficiently matches the theme that you can justify its inclusion. or maybe it won't, and you can delete it later. either way you're moving again and you end up at a different location and maybe from that new location you get some perspective on how to fucking get back on target.

and sometimes, if you're extremely lucky, you write two thousand words of akechi goro talking about the iliad because you feel like doing it, and then an entire fucking year later the fact that you did that ends up solving like three of your plot problems at once. can you believe this happened to me

Considering the amount of injuries he's obtained it's only natural to assume they get sore a lot, and stress is probably a factor that causes that 💔 He'll try to hide it from the ADA because he feels bad about getting behind on work when he's in pain because of how much stress it's causing him 💔💔💔

Ranpo obviously notices first and starts making up random excuses for Atsushi to leave early 🩷 A lot of them are stupidly obvious but Atsushi's too tired to question it 💕

Dazai finds out via osmosis from Ranpo and makes a point to inconspicuously check in with him at random points, sometimes making him go on random errands as an excuse to let him get some fresh air <3 he's also the one most likely to see Atsushi have a breakdown, in which case he'll always drag him to some sort of quiet tucked-away space like a closet or storage space

I think Kunikida definitely adds to that anxiety because of just.... how he is. And he would feel so bad about it if he found out he was hurting Atsushi 💔💔😭 He starts talking softer and being less harsh on Atsushi out of the blue and Atsushi has no idea why </3 waah

Yosano makes a point to let him stay in her office when she notices he's overwhelmed 🩷. Whenever he's getting worked up she'll let him lay down on the cot for a little bit until he's feeling better <3333 He doesn't have to ask after the first few times, its just kind of unspoken

I have an entire multiverse hell hound bs au going on and in one of the current timelines it’s with slime as president after murdering quackity blah blah blah BUT slime kied Wilbur aswell and one of my favorite parts ABOUTZ THE AU ITSELF ( even though nobody asked or more or less prolly wants to read or hear ) is that ghost(bur) and alexia ( <- ghost Quackity but nonbinary femme basically to set the difference between his alive self and dead self ) leave little bouquets of what their main biomes they reside of have for eachother. so for example because ghost can’t stay in the tundra for long and that’s what alexia is banished to they’ll leave coded bouquets, a bundle of lilac, lavender, periwinkle, daisy, and some allium wrapped in brown paper and tied with a white satin ribbon stained with blue dye ( as is the paper but in hand prints ) and place it right where his flower field biome meets the tundra, always attaching messy little " enjoy these my sweet blackberry!! remember to dress warm!! " type messages, only for alexia to leave small bouquets filled with winter berry branches, winter blueberry branches, pine branches and cool spruce sticks they found wrapped in a cleaned and dried arctic fox Hyde, tied with a burlap ribbon they cut into shape herself and sending a " I love the flowers, blueberry, please enjoy the berries I found!! tell the animals there hello for me!! " against that same tree. they having nothing but a platonic relationship but more close friendship since alexia lost most of her memory from the relation to her death, whereas that remembers everything. and ghost not having the heart to tell alexia that he remembers meanwhile alexia can’t bring herself to tell him she remembers less than she lets on, the few times they’ve met alexia melts in any warm temperatures, meanwhile ghost freezes after only a short time in the tundra. her ‘ living ‘ through some of the worst blizzards known to man meanwhile ghost deals with the burning of constant summer thunderstorms, always so close yet so far away. alexias icy hands melting against ghost and burning them, meanwhile ghosts warmth caused her to melt, essentially a candle and a flame in opposite temperatures. sighing. the blogs based off of them don’t do them justice… also im so sorry for writing so much…

Have you ever created something? Of course you have, you exist. There's no existence without creation, and no creation without existence - without being reminded that you exist. However it calls to you, through art or music or writing or cooking, making spreadsheets or planting a garden or building something, anything. It roots you in the world, and no one is exempt from it. The things you create, the life you live, has an impact on the rest of the world throughout the rest of time, just like all that came before has come together to lead to you, in this moment, bringing something new into it all. You don't have to worship me to benefit from that, it's just a part of you already, and you're a part of it. Or, me, rather.

You've destroyed things too - another inevitable part of existing. We all do it, and just like creation it's both a product of every moment leading up to it and an impact on every moment after. It could be something as simple as breaking a pencil that can never be the same again, or as complex as ending another life - even the ones you don't necessarily consider. Have you ever squashed a bug? This isn't a moral thing, don't worry. But that bug could have gone on to pollinate a flower that provides a home or vital food for something else, that goes on to create new life and on and on. Instead it was squashed. And that's okay! It's still a part of the cycle, it still existed, the destruction of it is just a part of that like it's a part of everything, eventually. Not that you should go around squashing things willy nilly, but. It's important to know that you exist, that you are a part of things, and that one day you'll die too. Maybe your corpse will feed a bug that goes on to pollinate a flower. You don't have to worship me to benefit from that, either. It's a part of you, just like everything is a part of you and you're a part of everything else. Isn't that beautiful?
