🌾- How does this oc get along with people they just met?

Nemu - i think i've said it before but Nemu is a very friendly person so i think she gets on well with people she just met. I think she'd probably dial the more comical part of herself down a bit and act very mellow and polite until she got to know them a bit better, but she'd still be very chatty and try to act interested in the other person regardless of if she actually is or not lol

Riza - oh boy so remember everything i just said for Nemu? Yeah Riza's the total opposite. She's very quiet already and that gets dialed up to 11 once unfamiliar people are around. I feel riza and teru really could've only become friends exactly when they did, she wouldve been too intimated by him at any other time (and also she has a bit of a bias against popular people for personal reasons). Post becoming teru's bestie i imagine she uses him as a bit of a social crutch and lets him do the talking while she nods every so often and goes "sure".

Dandy - yeah finally we have dandy. They're kind of split down the middle, they're generally introverted but they aren't like. Shy or anything. They don't really go out of their way to meet new people but if someone came up to them they would talk back. They generally have a lot of stuff on the back burner though so they can sometimes seem a bit distracted during conversations which might seem a bit rude to people who don't know them well(?)

So people once were calling me a terf, persecuting me just because I held some different opinion. After taking a break from social media, I've did some thinking, and I've came to accept this label as a part of who I am. I identify, inside and out, within the fibers if my soul, as a terf, and anyone who objects to this is being criticalphobic. Eventually I realized that by rejecting trans people from society, I was arbitrarily drawing a line between what a person participating in society could be, completely discounting all the possible ways our biology I've so long revered could betray the labels our ancestors placed on ourselves. I stopped excluding trans people and started exclusively rejecting normal feminists, making me a ferf, until I walked outside and accidently talked to a guy and found they were normal. With no one familiar to belong to, I gave in and joined feminists and became a rfet.

i don't want to discredit the work that writers do, especially in laying the groundwork for a character like homelander and crafting a compelling arc for him with every new season. and i'm sure they were very involved in the making of ep 4 as well, despite kripke generously giving credit where it's due here. however...

it is nice to know that antony starr has not only elevated the character with a superb performance but also made some pretty valuable contributions to the script :) obviously i'm biased but i think he is the standout of every episode. i'm throwing emmys at him

They like seafood i think. Great for her cuz she lives on an island lol. I think he's particularly a huge fan of calamari, esp ones that been cooked w a bit of spice. Also likes shrimp fried rice (yep they have heard the joke)

As for dislikes... hm i dont they like frozen stuff very much. Like snocones and popsicles. Stuff like that. Ice cream is still good tho

i would really love if people stopped tagging staff into angry rants, or using "fuck staff" tags, but i know that's probably not going to happen. more specifically i would love people to stop making threats against individual staff members, especially trans ones!

it's already difficult enough to be where they are now without the weight of being piled on in reaction to something that isn't their fault, that hurts them in ways it doesn't hurt the average tumblr user. i disagree with a hell of a lot of my ex-colleagues about a lot of things and am far more radical than the majority of them but none of them deserve this. it's honestly just fucking weird. like i don't care what the political opinions of an individual amazon employee are, i'm not acting like even the most bigoted shithead working in a warehouse is personally responsible for the way amazon is ruining lives — or that their life isn't one of the ones being ruined.

the one thing matt is right about is that unbridled, thoughtless hostility toward all staff makes it harder to retain people who can improve tumblr. in particular, marginalised staff get enough of this shit in other parts of their life and no amount of wanting to change shit for the better is worth dealing with this for. we burn out faster and harder under lateral violence than people who aren't affected will.
