You have piqued my attention at the scenario of Goku emerging from the rock as a complete baby from the Earth's aura. And considering the indication of a civilization near his birthplace, there's a possibility it would refer to the "kingdom" that Goku was leading from the source material. Perhaps he was worshipped and nurtured as their deity every century before he was picked up by the Heavens?

Thank you for the massive interest. I don't when or where it will come to life but I think it won't be long now. And to answer your question fully about Goku's kingdom. I don't know in canon when Heaven’s picked him up. So for this AU, it's one maybe two days after he emerged. But every year the Kingdom released lanterns in the hope that one day Goku would return to them. (Think of that scene in Tangled after Rapunzel was kidnapped by Mother Gothel and when Rapunzel went to see the lanterns.)

ehem sorry this is gonna be real long

My 2012 AU (which I like to call Kintsugi or K!) is basically a glorified rewrite surrounded familial trauma and a sprinkle of Rise. It follows the brothers as they attempt to fix their broken relationships with each other and their father, all while having to save the world from the Kraang and the Shredder.

YES there are mystic powers but it leans in more towards the 2012 spiritual plane

YES Venus is in this one, but maybe I'll talk about her another time

It basically follows the same general plotline as 2012 BUT the character dynamics are different and I shifted some ships around!

K!Leo, AKA Lee, 'Nard, Narc, fearless leader, weeb: - He/Him - 16 - Southern River Terrapin - Gay - 5'6" K!Leo is the oldest of his brothers, and was actually found by Splinter in Japan right after the fight with Oroku Saki. Because of this, and also because Leo is the most interested in traditional Japanese culture, Splinter granted him favoritism his entire life, leading to the resentment of the other boys. Of course it was never Leo's fault, but as he began to get iced out by the others (who are his entire world btw) he develops a serious case of imposter syndrome especially because he's been trained since childhood to be their leader. He thinks they hate him (they don't) and struggles with his words, so he's more of a loner, but not by choice. This genuinely SUCKS because his love language is quality time and the poor child has been DEPRIVED His worst relationship by far is with Raph, his best is with Mikey, and Donnie's a neutral party.

Likes: Meditation, tea, sparring, jogging, romcoms, Girl Talk (with April), 80's anime and manga (especially shounen and magical girls), knitting, and being painted on by Mikey and Raph

Dislikes: Fighting with his family, failure, coffee, being ignored

K!Raph AKA Robin, fuego, hot stuff, hot-head, meathead): -He/They (interchangeably) - 15 - Red-Bellied Cooter - Unlabeled, but queer with a male lean - 5'4"

K!Raph is the broodiest and edgiest of his brothers. He struggles with his anger and undiagnosed ADHD, as he was never validated or properly taught to live with it as a child. He and Leo used to be the closest, but as the years went by, he noticed Splinter's slight favor, and, wanting to be a "great ninja" like Leo, began to train as hard as he could. However, he never could quite match up to his brother, leading to misplaced resentment and angry outbursts. He knows deep inside that it isn't Leo's fault, but he can't help but pin the blame on the person he wants to be like the most, because in reality, he couldn't be further from him. While yes, Raph is angry, he never hits his brothers unless it's consented roughhousing or well within appropriate boundaries. Instead of taking his aggression out on people, as one of the two artists in the families, Raph will paint his frustrations and tear the canvases apart. He learns to eventually channel his anger into music, as well, and he enjoys rock. Raph's love language is acts of service and he'll silently do things for his family! He gets embarrassed if it's pointed out though :) He also hates physical touch. Hugging's not his thing. ALSO ALSO he has a tattoo for each family member :D He's closest with his (age) twin, Donnie, because Donatello is the medic and Raph gets hurt the most often.

Likes: Working out (specifically bulking), training, sparring, 90's rap (Tupac's his favorite), heavy metal, drumming, spray painting, calligraphy, sumi-e (Japanese ink painting), tattoo art, sketching, video games, spicy foods, dark chocolate

Dislikes: Hugs, sugary sweets, snack foods (pizza is the exception), being alone/cut communication, his height, feeling weak

K!Donnie AKA Don-Don, D, D-bag, Douche-atello, D-man, Einstein): - He/Him - 15 - Common Box turtle - Bisexual with a female lean - 6'2"

Donnie is definitely a computer engineering genius. He found his first broken laptop at the ripe age of seven, and with unauthorized access to the world wide web, he became a Gamer TM and a very educated individual. Growing up he was generally the neutral party, but he tended to take Raph's side because Raph often hurt himself on accident, and Donnie also felt the effects of that favoritism. He never hated or disliked Leo for it, but he has trouble expressing his feelings appropriately and doesn't like to talk about it. While he specializes in engineering, robots, and chemistry, he's terrible at biology, but forces himself to learn it anyways to be a better medic for his mutant brothers. He's also a hopeless romantic to a fault, and secretly believes in "love at first sight" and "destiny." His score so far? Chronically single. That is, unless you count vtuber oshis and Genshin worshipping. He also loves to dance, and enjoys 80's synth as well as techno! He's too embarrassed to share with his family, but he'll occasionally hit some karaoke with April and Casey up topside. Speaking of April, yes, he has a massive crush on her, but they're best friends and their friendship will always come first. His love language is gift giving and he often tries to give gadgets to his fam

Likes: Math, robotics, chemistry, romcoms, romance, the Hallmark channel, Disney musicals, scifi anime, 80's-90's synth, dating sims, open-world RPG's (cough cough Genshin), online gaming, vtubers (Hololive stan), vocaloid

Dislikes: Puzzle games (Wordle, sudoku, etc), biology, being rushed, chronic singleness, salads, pressure, interruption, having his things messed with, being woken up (mans sleeps till 3PM)

He specializes in artillery and medicine!! Yeah his staff may be a stupid 6 foot stick but he's got mouser bombs and modified kraang guns AS WELL as two AI robot half-children to level the playing field

K!Mikey AKA Mickey, Mick-ster, Mick-Angelo, Mike, Angie): - He/Him - 14 - Spotted turtle - Aromantic/Asexual - 5'3"

Mikey's... certainly a character. He's the heart of the family, the glue that (eventually) holds them together, and he's kept a close relationship with each of his brothers despite their issues and differences. He LOVES to dance and often tries to encourage Donnie to dance with him, but he's more a lover of hip-hop, rap, and breakdancing. On that note, he'll don a human disguise and alias (Mickey) to go topside and dance battle with a group of human teens. He desperately wants to make friends and live up top, but mutants are hated by the general population, so rather than sit and wait in the shadows, he's a mutant rights activist behind the scenes, helping organize the new movement without revealing his image to the public. He's the second artist! Rather than be traditional and to-the-books like Raph, Mikey experiments with his art and prefers graffiti. He and Raph often fight for wall space in the sewers and will sometimes paint over the other's work. Mikey's the baby, but he's not stupid. That being said, as the baby, he definitely plays dumb sometimes just for kicks and for special treatment from Leo and April. He's REALLY good at cooking. Insanely good. He considers it his favorite form of art and is constantly experimenting with recipes Mikey's love language is touch!!! He is Clingy

What's this I hear about Vic not voicing Qrow anymore?

Roosterteeth recently put out a post that the company will no longer have any affiliations with Vic Mignogna. This is due in part to the recent controversy surrounding him with accusations that range from homophobia to sexual assault. 

Because of this, RT’s response was to let Vic go so of course, this means he won’t be voicing Qrow Branwen anymore for the future of RWBY.

Sorry if this has been answered before, search engine on Tumblr sucks, but what do you use to ink :0?

oh yeah don't i know it—sometimes i try to find posts or asks ive answered and its like "youve never mentioned this word before in your life!" and i just. huaghgh.

anyway, the ink that I usually use is Dr. Ph. Martins Bombay India Ink, it's the only Completely waterproof black ink I'm aware of (and there's a variant called Dr. Ph. Martin's Black Star Matte which doesn't reflect light but it's more expensive) BUT when I do not want to pay a whole lot of money for a bottle of ink, Yatsumoto Sumi India Ink is much cheaper AND nearly waterproof. As long as you wait for it to dry, and don't scrub it too hard with a brush, it should be fine.
