𝐅𝐀𝐕𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐄 𝐅𝐋𝐀𝐕𝐎𝐑(𝐒): I follow Min on the 'fruits' thing, there's nothing like the flavor of a nice ripe nectarine or peach, or cantaloupe melon or cherries!! God, cherries, I want some now. I also am (to be honest) an absolute nut for chocolate, which I think I haven't kept a secret here so far whatsoever. But dark chocolate with praliné filling? God, my mouth is watering at the mere thought. 𝐅𝐀𝐕𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐄 𝐌𝐔𝐒𝐈𝐂: I like so many artists, but a lot of consistent ones that I keep going back to are the classic oldies (Presley, Beatles, Sinatra), or your 80/90s classics. Beyond that, I will always go back to Abel Korzeniowski, Sleeping at Last, Smash into Pieces (thank you, Min)— uh, who else, I know I always forget ones here, ah, I'll 100% admit that I'm a Bruno Mars fan (Silk Sonic, hello?) This is one of those where I can't really narrow it down, I just let Youtube autoplay and I come across many gems, you know? 𝐅𝐀𝐕𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐄 𝐌𝐎𝐕𝐈𝐄(𝐒): Mary Poppins. It's a film that's very near and dear to me and this answer seems to always surprise people, but I don't think it'll ever change at this point. It just hits me with a sense of magic that nothing else could ever do. And while I don't seek to 'be drawn back into my childhood', I like that this... does just that. I feel like whenever I watch it (and I don't too often), I gain more appreciation for it. Also, the music in it remains unparalleled (the moment when Mr. Banks walks to the bank, that instrumental? Favorite of all time, I think). 𝐅𝐀𝐕𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐄 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐒: Seinfeld, Friends, I enjoy the good old-school comedy shows. 𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐆: Minefields, by Faouzia & John Legend. 𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐒: An episode of Seinfeld has been playing every morning when I'm home as of late, it's been absolutely wonderful. I love this cast so much. 𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐌𝐎𝐕𝐈𝐄: The Joker, it came recommended for a specific mood! It's a good film. 𝐂𝐔𝐑𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐋𝐘 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆: I haven't picked it up in forever, because sitting down to read hasn't been a common thing for me lately (and also, I'm not quite prepared to head back into Warcraft lore quite yet, but the Warcraft: War of the Ancients trilogy by Richard A. Knaak. 𝐂𝐔𝐑𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐋𝐘 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐎𝐍: Work preparation for Wednesday, last work day before Winter break! I'd love to work on replies, though. But life is insane at present and because I've coughed so much because of bronchitis/etc. etc., I think I tore a ligament. 😭

i never get notifs for my asks on any of my blogs (and even less likely for my sideblogs), but i just realized i have a handful of asks that are so sweet and i just.. really wanted to say thank you so so much to any and everyone who's shown some love on here. whether it was a like or a reblog or even an ask/dm, i've legitimately never felt so welcomed or happy as i have been with this big ol otome fandom. i know some games or sections may have their reputations or the like, but in my own experience... it's been so incredibly pleasant, truly. everyone i've talked to or met on here has been so kind and welcoming and everyone kinda just shares tips or congratulates each other on stuff, it's the cutest darned thing!! really wish this energy had been around when i used to play these a lot back in hs as well haha, but either way, just wanted to express my gratidude and wish everyone nothing but the best. may you have wonderful day, may you feel better or heal if you're not in a good place rn, may you get lots of rest and stay hydrated, may you get the thing you wanted (in gacha, irl, etc), and may you all continue to be your wonderful lovely selves 💜

Currently watching - I'm a Dropout devotee (Dimension 20 especially) and I'm currently waiting on The Bear s3, Severance s2, and Arcane s2! And I keep meaning to pick up Interview with the Vampire.

Spicy/savory/sweet - I have a huuuge sweet tooth, haha. The idea of "too sweet" is foreign to me! Gimme all the syrups and toppings and flavors. (But I do also really enjoy rich savory flavors as well! Spice I am unfortunately not great with both from a tolerance standpoint and from a "I have severe GERD" standpoint, lmao.)

To continue with that reader insert talk, I think a lot of people don't realize how much they give away when they write for a reader, and yeah that can come off as off putting. Blushing on pale skin, height, body type, etc etc etc. I don't think they mean it but it really does come off as inconsiderate. One that always irks me is hair type. Not everyone can brush their hair, esp black hair. Maybe they don't even have hair to begin with. They said it goes in a bun or ponytail? Maybe reader doesn't have enough hair to do that (this one esp irks me just bc I have a preference for short hair). Anyways, I just wanna say ty for always thinking about the bigger more diverse crowd. Ik I always think about it too whenever I try writing reader fics (particularly for woc). I've always loved your work since McCree/Cassidy and I have been esp loving your Ghost and König stuff recently. I think you're a lovely person with a lovely mind 💕

yeah, i don't believe there's any ill intent behind it at all, but it does get a bit tiring reading a REALLY good fic only for it to be messed up with a description that you just know is meant for a white person (or someone with lighter skin).

all i ask is for people to make an effort. there's nothing wrong with having to go back and fix something. i've actually seen lots of people admitting that they have a lot to fix in their fic and that is a step in the right direction.

my main issue in the tags was supposed to be the whole named reader thing because that really pulls me out of a fic. but it led to something else that is near and dear to my heart which is inclusivity in fandom. fandom is for everyone and, yeah, while there will always be that majority, women of color are a huge part of fandom as well and deserve to be recognized. we are writing and making art just as much as anyone else, but there's a discrepancy that can easily be fixed. we just need everyone to make an effort.

anyways, i'm ranting again sorry lol.

"General, stop - wait!"

Your ears were far too full of rage to hear Rex's voice echoing over the hill. He was jogging towards you, eyes blown wide, his hand extended forward to grasp your wrist, but you yanked it away before he could touch your burning skin. Control was a fickle thing and in that moment, you had none of it. Rex didn't deserve to know the acidic anger that ate away your insides, clawing up your throat like sour bile. Angry tears threatened to break your façade so you kept them glued to the ground, even after Rex planted his feet in front of you, stopping you in your tracks.

"Look at me."

Teeth clenching hard enough to send shooting pain in your jaw, you forced yourself to pry your eyes off of the foggy ground. When you finally met those golden eyes, your anger briefly paused. The confliction was clear - Rex, like you, was struggling to maintain his composure. The tears were there, the tired wrinkles in the corners of his eyes, the confused and frightened dip in his brows.

"Whatever you plan on doing," he spoke quietly, practically forcing the words through trembling lips. "Please, think what it will do to you."

You swallowed though it did nothing to ease your dry throat as you croaked, "I can't let this go, Rex. He sent you to kill your own brothers. H-He made me so full of anger and rage I couldn't even sense them-"

Rex shook your head and grasped your hand before you could consider pulling away. He held your shaky, cold fingers in his gloveless, warm palms, pleading eyes burrowing into yours with enough pain to make you second guess your decision.

But it was final and Rex knew this, even while pleading for you to change your mind.

"This will put you down the wrong path," he warned, voice cracking. "General- bee, please..."

It hurt to tear your hand from his. It stung like a thousand needles, tying guilty knots in your stomach when you yanked your fingers from his warmth. Your throat constricted when his eyes flashed with betrayal. It took everything to keep yourself together as you swallowed down the lump in your throat and blinked away the tears in your eyes.

To mask this pain, your expression hardened and your words left your lips far harsher than you intended.

"General Krell will die for the crimes he committed. You either stay out of my way or I will make you."

The thread snapped. Rex's face shadowed with pain before suddenly falling, relaxing with a mask of indifference that frightened you more than your rageful thirst for revenge. He took a step back, tongue pressing against his cheek as he forced a firm nod.

"If that's what you choose, so be it."

He hesitated before turning, glossing his eyes across your face with a final inkling of pain before shaking his head and pivoting. Walking into the fog, he approached Fives and Jesse; their expressions pained as if they had heard the entire interaction.

No-one stopped you as you turned, pulling the lightsaber from its hilt on your back. They didn't call your name, no effort to stop you from spilling blood. In a way you were thankful, relieved by their understanding that there was nothing to prevent you from giving Krell his well-deserved punishment.

But there was a piece of you that still held onto your side of the thread. That little sliver of hope gripped onto the string with white-knuckled fingers, screaming for you to stop, to turn around, to look at Rex and apologize. It struggled against the black tide that threatened to swallow you whole, digging into your fingers and drawing blood with each step that drew you farther and farther from your friends, from Rex.

The double-ended lightsaber ignited with a flash of blue.

There was no going back.

Not anymore.

Clace, because they made me believe in love again, they gave me hope again, because they had so many chances to give up and walk away but choose to never give up on the other and love each even when it's not easy, because even tho they started out with a rocky relationship, they made it into something healthy, they always respect and support each other, because they aren't just lovers, they are best friends and a team, they bring out the best in each other and cause you can't have Clary without Jace and you can't have Jace without Clary, I could go on and on

2) your top 3 characters and why you love them so much

1. Jace fucking Herondale

He is dear to me for so many reasons, he represents me in so many reasons, we both try to lighten the mood when we can cause we don't like negativity or the ones we love being sad, because he gave me hope when I needed it, when I was trying to figure out what I was even doing here?, He showed me you can heal after being used for years, he showed me that I am worth something, he and me struggle with self hatred but he showed me a road to loving yourself isn't easy but is worth it, he showed me an abuse victim can get a happy ending, he showed me to let my gentle side out again after years of being afraid of it being taken advantage of, he showed me it's okay to not be able to hate your parents even if they hurt you so much you can't really have a relationship, like Jace I feel worthless and not enough a lot and try to hide it with a lot of fake confidence (don't @ me I know it's not healthy) in the past there were characters I related to in ways but Jace was like reading about myself in moments and I related to him so deeply it was shocking, I could write a whole book about Jace but we'll leave it here.

2. Clary fucking Fairchild

This girl, where do I begin? She is small like me and makes me feel represented in that way, we both are fiercely protective of our loved ones, we both can go from 1 to 100 in a second, we both believe in what's right and will fight for it, we both see the horror and the beauty in things, like her I get underestimated all the time, we both love art (I can't draw or paint but I do love it) , I related to her on a deep level too and loved this girl from the beginning, we both have to yell to be heard and get called bossy for it, we both love a certain blonde, like Clary I get looked at as a fragile doll a lot and people are stunned when they find out I can be thrown around, we both struggle to reach things, we both are surrounded by giants, we both wi fight you if your talk shit about the people we care about, but most of all we are kind. I could write a whole book about Clary as well and why she's my goddess.

3) Alec Lightwood

It was hard to pick only three but I wanted to choose Alec because like him, I was once sheltered and afraid of coming out about my sexuality, we both are extremely protective of our younger siblings and when they get hurt or we can't be there for them, we blame ourselves, like Alec I want to see things change, like Alec I had to become a shield for my siblings, like Alec I try to see the good in people.
