idk if you answer asks but i agree with your last post especially being tired of garlaens but still wanting like an ongoing conflict. like maybe they’ll introduce another group in the patches but if it turns out to be more of the ascians i will k word myself (i love the ascians i worry however the devs have literally run out of new ideas sometimes)

See the thing abt the Ascians is that i don't think they still exist as an organization (specially now that Zodiark is GONE) but we also have at least 5 or 6 of them M.I.A. as far as we know.

Emet, Elidibus, Laha, Danny, Iggy and Nabriales are confirmed 100% dead. Loghrif and Mitron were killed but we don't know if Emet raised two new shards to those seats between that and we killing him. Emmerololth was killed when Galuf threw the Isle of Val into the aetherial sea but there's indication another got raised to the position.

But assuming everyone i just mentioned got killed and no subs have been raised into the position that still leaves Altima, Deudalaphon, Halmarut and Pashtarot . Altima and Deudalaphon are the two Gaius took masks from and you could infer they might've died but Yoshida was very coy when talking abt it like "Oh but y'know ascians are hard to kill for good tehe :3c" so i consider them alive.

My point here is that we are for SURE meeting Ascians in the future but i think they might be relegated to side stories and stuff like that and i don't think they'll have the same vibes. Hell the Arcadion storyline seems like some kind of Ascian experiment with souls or some kind of pyramid scheme so we'll probably meet them this expansion but i doubt it will be business as usual. They might even be on the msq again but i doubt it's gonna be the same thing too, or at least i hope so...

"Darling, I assure you I'm all right!" Jervis assured, he placed a hand on your shoulder to slow your movements. 

Jervis has managed to get back to you after an encounter with Batman. He had a black eye and a bleeding gash across his right arm. 

As soon as he sat on the couch you instantly scurried for your first aid kit. 

You were snatching gauze, wraps, and bandaids when Jervis tried to calm you down. 

“B-But you’re hurt!” You argued, as you gestured to his arm that had bled through his green dress shirt sleeve. 

“I know, but it’s okay, I’m here and safe with you.” He cupped the hand that was on your shoulder to your cheek. 

You sighed feeling the adrenaline slowly fade away. When your breath evened out, you began collecting the proper materials to tend to his wounded arm. 

As you finished wrapping up his arm in gauze, you didn’t fail to notice Jervis warmly and lovingly staring at you. 

Once the final strip of gauze was on, you lifted his arm and kissed the middle of the bandage. 

“All right…Now onto-oh…” You looked up at him and took full notice of his swollen and bruised eye.

Jervis’ unafflicted eye darted away from yours shamefully. 

You gave him a reassuring smile before leaning in and gently kissing the tip of his nose. 

The redness from his face soon reddened even more, but this time it wasn’t from the pain. 

You got up and grabbed an ice pack and softly pressed it to his eye. Jervis lifted his hand and concealed your hand with his before squeezing it gratefully. 

"Thank you, my beloved." 

"Don't mention it." You whispered softly, worried if you spoke too loud it may ruin the tender moment. 

You slowly, albeit reluctantly, slid your hand out from under his. Only to bring it back up to cup his cheek as your other hand came up to cup his other cheek. 

You brought his face closer to yours as you brought his lips to meet yours in a sweet warm kiss. 

A kiss full of love and gratitude. Grateful that he made it, he was there, and you were there to heal him. 

You pulled back when the need for air became too great. You still smiled adoringly at him. 

You began fixing his hair slightly so it would stay out of his face as he adjusted the ice pack back on his eye. 

"Is there anything else you need, Jervy?" 

Jervis hummed in a moment of pondering. Before a cheeky grin grew on his face. 

"Perhaps…one more thing…" 

You listened intently. 

"May I ask for one more kiss? I think I'm starting to feel better already." 

You giggled softly before reaching out to hold his face again. "I thought you would never ask."

- definitely lets himself go hungry a lot :(

- he has a reputable image to uphold given his position as not only a member of the ragnvindr clan, but also the heir to the empire of mondstadt's biggest wine industry. he's seen as an idolised hero and the finest eligible bachelor rather than a normal human by most of mond - so when his stoic image is affected by very normal human, loud stomach growls, my boy is humiliated

- hunger plagues him almost constantly with the amount of work he takes on, overexerting himself as well as leaving his poor tum neglected and unfed. his stomach growls throughout the day in protest, growing louder by the hour, but he just brushes it off and distracts himself with the task at hand

- his tummy is noisy. low rumbles emit from his stomach as it gurgles unhappily, the emptiness inside him begging for energy and nourishment. even when he does satisfy his hunger, the upset grumbles are only replaced by those of digestion. his tummy gets particularly noisy when he works as a bartender at angel's share; the smell of delicious food and wine is detrimental to his neglected stomach, his previously avoidable hunger cues now turning into ravenous starvation as tight cramps size his stomach

- it's not often that others notice or point it out, but when they do, he gets v flustered and embarrassed. as the master of one of the most aristocratic clans of mond, he was raised with certain etiquette and expectations, and finds it embarrassing to be seen as needing of anything. he declines any offers for food, claiming to be busy or brushing it off as digestion

- and ofc most ppl believe this! except for adelinde, who raises her eyebrows (but does not say anything for it is not her place), and kaeya, who only holds back an entertained grin at his suffering (and humiliates him further with comments about how the pipes in the building must be broken, or a thunder storm must be approaching mondstadt)

- and of course thoma, who, much to his embarrassment, pats his aching stomach and says let's get some food in here, big guy while leading him to the kitchens - he used to overwork himself too, and so catches onto all the signs of diluc's burnout

- i feel like diluc is one of those people always nagging those he cares about with how they need to eat and look after themselves to function - but he doesn't feel the need to look after himself. he pushes himself and his limits, with work always taking priority over feeding himself or getting enough sleep. so unfortunately for him, he'll continue to stay hungry and embarrassed until he begins to take better care of himself

kaeya

- hunger is something that kaeya is very familiar with, beginning with the neglect in his childhood

- being adopted into the ragnvindr household introduced him to many new things - a warm bed, solid walls, and three meals a day. the feeling of being full. of being safe and loved.

- now, however, kaeya doesn't believe himself safe. even less so does he believe that he's loved, and even if he was, it wasn't something he deserved. none of the cozy aspects of life the winery provided were things he deserved.

- three meals a day dwindle down to small bites throughout the day, replaced instead with far too much whiskey and wine. when the pestering emptiness knotted deep within his stomach grows too painful or distracting, he placates it by throwing down another drink or eating a quick cereal bar, leading to his stomach complaining even louder for something more nutritious

- his groaning tummy doesn't bother him much; it's distracting when he's in his otherwise silent office doing paperwork, sure, and the sloshing of alcohol in an empty stomach feels a bit off-putting when he's on the field, but it's nothing he can't ignore. he usually just ghosts a hand over his middle as he signs off on stacks of forms, absently noting that while it doesn't do much to calm down the noise, the sharp pain in his belly somewhat improves under the touch

- the racket his hunger can create does bother him in official meetings however. insistent gurgles reverberate through his distressed stomach, almost deafening in the quiet, uptight atmosphere of the favonius meetings and conferences. it's only then that he garners any sense of decorum about the matter, pressing a palm into his belly and murmuring small apologies with a shy blush as he tries to ease his tummy rumbles

kazuha

- kazuha goes hungry pretty often - he's a wanderer after all, and food and rations are not the easiest to come by, let alone materials to start a little fire for cooking. he gets cold quickly when he's hungry, and begins to daydream of different foods as he treks on. his hunger pangs becoming more painful, but somehow he's unable to stop - rich mondstadt dishes, spicy inszuman meals, sweet, decadent desserts

- he has a bit of a sweettooth; even when he has eaten enough to keep him powering on through the day, his mind turns to chocolate and sweets, which are difficult to come by unless visiting big cities and bustling ports. he hasn't tasted the sweet sugar or rich coco in so long that the cravings are impossible to shake off, and his tummy starts to feel empty again already

- when he's tossing and turning and unable to sleep with his empty, aching stomach, he tries to subdue the hollow pain with distracting belly rubs. he presses a hand hard into his stomach, rubbing deep, pressured circles in an attempt to ease the cramps deep within his stomach

- he tries to keep it to himself. he doesn't like to trouble other people with his problems - on top of that tomo's a big guy, and definitely has gone hungry during his travels much more often. if he heard kazuha complaining about something so miniscule, he'd doubtlessly be annoyed

- unfortunately, kazuha is an open book, and tomo can tell the minute he starts to daydream about sweet desserts, eyes big and glassy and stomach grumbling quietly, limbs shaking from the cold. when they cuddle up to fall asleep, he reaches over and replaces kazuha's hand with his own. he gently rubs his small tummy, aching and groaning beneath his hand, sometimes pressing small kisses to the soft skin. the shorter boy leans in to the touch in search for relief; from the sharp pain, from the cravings, from the cold that the lack of food has let seep in. when he wakes up in the morning, the hollow pit in his stomach the first thing on his mind, he feels a little guilty that tomo is always the one to take care of him. carefully removing his hands from where he fell asleep holding his tummy, he sets out to find breakfast for the two of them

cyno/tighnari

- tighnari is a huge advocate of self-care and nourishing yourself. as a forest ranger, he understands organic life more than the majority, and has a strong appreciation for the beauty and strength that can come from simply looking after it correctly

- (treat yourself how you would treat a plant, he tells cyno. and your flowers will grow strong.

i come from the desert, cyno tells him. cacti do not need nourishment.)

- unfortunately tighnari's love for nature often leads to him becoming distracted by his work. time seems to fly by as he cures the forest of the remaining effects of the withering zones; reviving the vegetation, inspecting how each species has been affected differently, safely cleaning up any remaining withering substances, as well as standing his own against the monsters it attracts. it's harder than it first appears, and he often underestimates how much he needs to eat on these days as the laborious work eats up all of his energy. his stomach is quick to remind him with the growing vibrations of hungry rumbles.

- tighnari occasionally getting distracted by work is one thing. cyno is a whole other story; the mahamatra has been drowning in paperwork with all the changes to the akademiya. his own hunger is often a reminder to check up on his partner, and tighnari finds himself visiting cyno more than usual during the weeks he does withering clean-ups; always with food in hand. just in case.

- just in case with tighnari always turns out to be i called it, and it's no different with his assumptions about cyno. when he visits, the mahamatra has often fallen asleep half way through a form, head on the desk and drool on the corner of his mouth. if his body cannot gain energy from food, it must find other ways. other times, he finds him on his way back from a confrontation in the desert, hand on his stomach and scowl on his face, squinting past the stars that dance in his vision and the city that spins around him

- each time, tighnari gently wakes him up with a tummy rub to smooth out the tight cramps of his muscles seizing up, or takes his hand to steady him and leads him back to his office where he feeds him small bites. he resists any teasing or i told you sos - cyno gets moody when he's hungry, and he doesn't want to be a victim of any silent treatment or petty comments

alhaitam/kaveh

- hunger isn't something alhaitham is used to. he's a calculating guy and can predict just about anything his body will need depending on what the day is expected to bring. his meals are routine, made to both fuel and nurture him

- kaveh leaps at the chance to bitch about this (anything alhaitham does differently, kaveh will find a way to bitch). he accuses him of being bland, of being psychotic, of having no love in his life and being an empty shell of a human being - food was made to eat with joy and excitement. not to fuel yourself.

- despite his words, alhaitham notices that kaveh doesn't seem to eat much, whether it's joyfully or routinely. the silence in the study as they both examine and work on their respective materials is broken only by low, guttural rumbles of a starving stomach. alhaitham used to make mean comments - have you had anything today other than alcohol? and no wonder you so easily lose your temper at everybody who loves you. these days, alhaitham bites back any petty comments. he reminds kaveh to eat numerous times throughout the day, and if he still won't stop neglecting himself, there must be a bigger issue at hand. perhaps being kind and gentle, something kaveh cannot do for himself, is the only way to get this idiot to look after himself

- often, kaveh lets the hunger to persist for so long that it has pivoted from pain to nausea. even if his pride would let him accept anything the scribe offers him, the dizzying sickness stops him from being able to stomach anything. reluctantly, he comes to alhaitham and asks if he has any medicine. knowing what this really means, he only gives him a told you so look before putting down his book patting his lap. kaveh clambers up and makes himself comfortable, blushing the entire time. alhaitham keeps his hands light as he rubs gentle circles into his upset tummy, softly chiding him for not listening to his body

- you're already a tortured artist, he says, frowning to himself as he feels the sharp edges of ribs and a concave stomach beneath his hands. let's try to abstain from adding 'starving' to the repertoire just yet

- once the nausea has somewhat subsided, alhaitham cooks something small and palatable for his sensitive stomach. something that they can eat together with more regret than joy, the blonde hanging his head low in shame as his plate is served up. despite his embarrassment, he still manages a small thank you each time, his quivering tone and big eyes indicating it is for much more than the food in front of him

my BESTIE. she's a marksmanship hunter + a huntmaster :) she wields thori'dal because i can do whatever i want. teehee. she's transfem and bisexual and a horse girl. dw about it

she's very, uh, stable? i guess? firm and grounded, more logical than emotional. she's very gentle, though, which is why she works so well with her horses. she's honest and forgiving, though not to the point of being spineless. she didn't have strong feelings toward the horde until uh. well. You Know. and now she's more distrustful than she feels comfortable with. she's an amazing tactician and a great leader, though sometimes she's a little more cautious than her position demands, and sometimes it saves her ass. depends on the day. :)

she grew up learning skinning/leatherworking from her father, who was a talented leatherworker working in darnassus. her parents were relatively overprotective, so she wasn't allowed to go out hunting with her father for a long time, despite her keen interest in it. she'd work with him in the shop though, and has a great love and respect for the craft. eventually, when she got older, she finally talked her parents into letting her go, and she honed her skill with the intention to eventually take over for her father.

unfortunately, uh! both of her parents died in the fire. so . she had to do that earlier than expected.

she also had a childhood friend named maven (seb's oc!) who had a huge crush on her, and they were very close. she never realized she had feelings for him until she found him washed up on the beach as teldrassil was burning, nearly dead and horribly wounded, and everything came crashing down on her so so bad. it makes me so crazy. i love them

ooooh girl who died and came back wrong for realsies. she's a blood death knight (despite looking like a frost dk lol she's taking after her dad!) and a deathlord. she wields the maw of the damned. you just so happened to ask about a couple of my champions LOL

she's a butch lesbian and should be much beefier than she is in game. she was killed and subsequently raised as a dk during the attack on silvermoon. she was in her late teens, and completely lost her memory, becoming a mindless soldier. she was adopted by koltira (hence the last name) shortly after he broke free from arthas, and then was adopted by thassarian by extension. she was scared, and the two of them took pity on her and took her in.

in her former life prior to becoming a dk, she had a bit of a romance going with a girl in silvermoon who survived the attack (one of my other ocs who is less developed and isn't listed on the carrd. her name is auridel though!). linestelle completely forgot her because she lost her memory, but auridel Did Not forget her, and actively hates her because she thinks she ran away and left her, instead of, yknow, Dying And Losing Her Memory. they were kind of toxic yuri. auridel is rommath's apprentice now if that gives you any idea as to Her character KJSHDKDHSKD

personality-wise, linestelle doesn't really have much of one anymore. she lost a lot of the personality she had before losing her memory, so nowadays she's kind of flat-affect most of the time. she used to be hotheaded and some of that comes out when she fights, because she's Super easy to rile up in a fight, but outside of that she's rarely emotive and tends to keep to herself. if you knew her before, she'd hardly be recognizable now. the only person who can get her to smile, even a little, is thassarian. with bad dad jokes. :) the only time you'd find her laughing is if she's tearing a zombie apart or something.

oh, also, she looks after invincible now. they're friends. :)
