Chocolate Muffin Drama

A/N: So i'm on the olympic chocolate muffin tiktok and then this appeared lol. Everyone is aged up, sports/countries are not specified (except for Vil, Rook, and Rollo), and Yuu/Reader is a female

Everything starts when Ace wants to get breakfast at the Olympic dining hall and his eyes land on Yuu eating about 10 chocolate muffins

Yuu literally has crumbs on her face and the chocolate filling (or sauce? Idk) on her fingers. She looked like a hot mess that someone from the German team showed up to "clean the potato"

Ace is both surprised and confused

Later on, while sitting in the audience for a sport, he watches Yuu destroying the opposing team. Gold medal worthy, in his eyes

Ace rn: "is that the same girl who devoured those muffins in one sitting?"

Yes, yes, it is

Anyways, Ace is SMITTEN by Yuu and is determined to win her heart

How does he do it? He grabs a muffin at the dining hall and tries to give it to Yuu, but she is not there.

He comes back the next day to find out there are no more muffins! (gee I wonder why???)

Plan B: give it to Trey

Ace: I need you to tell me what ingredients are used to make this muffin

Trey: okay....

Eventually, Trey cracks the code to the muffins and even writes down the recipe for Ace

If only all's well, ends well

Meanwhile, a muffin thief was currently bringing the muffins back to the Village

Ruggie drops off his stash to Leona (while also taking one or two for himself. Leona pretends to not see it) so he can give it to Yuu later that day

See, Leona has been doing this for a few days now, but he waits until Yuu gets her servings before taking the rest to avoid suspicion

Yuu caught Leona's eyes at the same event Ace went to

He would have gone for more had a certain Frenchman not sat by him

Leona: there are other seats, ya know?

Rook: au contraire! These are the best seats to watch Madame Trickster perform!

So Leona repeats the process and basically plays hide and seek with Rook while Ruggie works.

He ends the day by being Yuu's prince charming (literally) and gifts her the muffins

He knows about the redhead who is trying to recreate the muffins.

It would be bad if the recipe got stolen...

Except, it wasn't Ruggie who took it. It was a bat

Lilia is grinning like he won the lottery. He saw how the muffins became viral on MagicTok and he just had to make some to share to all of his fellow athletes

(Little did anyone know that Lilia would accidentally end the Games if he succeeded)

Luckily, Silver is there to save everyone

He recognized the muffins from the dining hall and Malleus mentioned his new friend loved them

So he goes out to the nearby shops/places in Paris to buy the ingredients, unaware of a group of six guys currently on a goose chase to find a recipe

(tbh idk if the athletes can explore the city but let's pretend they can)

Silver has never met Yuu, but according to Malleus, she was a nice person.

Malleus suggests that Silver makes Yuu some muffins (it's a miracle he was able to at the Village). Silver gives some to her as a thank you for befriending his brother

What he doesn't know is that Malleus is trying to set the two up, so he talks about Silver when he's around Yuu and recruits Sebek to stop Lilia from adding his "secret ingredient" to the muffins

Bonus:

Malleus also drags Silver to Yuu's sporting events, sitting away from Ace and Leona

Except he has his own problem with someone from the French team

Rollo: why must you sit next to me? go somewhere else

Malleus: hush, Flamme, I am trying to get a sister-in-law here

As the Olympic Games are officially starting in a week, I decided to finally sketch some of the designs for my Twisted Wonderland Olympics AU! Next up are Riddle, Trey and Cater.

AU summary

This is a magicless AU where all of the TWST characters are Olympic athletes in the real world. Some win medals, some barely qualify — but all of them live in the Olympic village. The students are aged up here (usually early to late twenties) while the faculty members have no set age and work as sports reporters.

♤ Character introductions ♤

ACE TRAPPOLA — A 21-year-old Italian prodigy basketball player. He's considered to be his team's ace (pun intended) and is great at tricking his opponents, making tons of baskets for the Italian team, and efficiently assisting his teammates.

DEUCE SPADE — A 21-year-old Japanese track and field athlete competing in various smaller disciplines falling under the "track and field" term. He's extremely average at most things other than sprints, often ends up in the bottom 3, and is secretly incredibly insecure about not being the best at anything.

ALLEN ALAGONA (YUU) — A 21-year-old Japanese-Italian gold-winning figure skater competing for his current home country, Ireland, along with his best friend and sports partner Alcestris. He gave up on his original dream — becoming a musician — and is now working hard to be the best male figure skater in the world, hoping to kickstart a career as a musician later on.

♤ Relationships ♤

ACE & DEUCE — Their friendship originally started when Ace posted a picture of himself watching a sprint competition while Deuce made a grimace in the background, causing the photo to go viral and become a meme. Deuce originally DMed Ace to take the picture down and got teased for it, but this teasing slowly developed into a friendship. While they get along well, Deuce is secretly a bit jealous of Ace for pretty much being a prodigy.

ACE & ALLEN (YUU) — Ace is a fan of Allen and views him as a fellow gold medalist. Being open-minded and "eager" to make new connections, Ace simply DMed Allen one day and the two became unlikely friends. Nowadays, Ace also functions as a matchmaker, being the only person to know just how much Deuce likes Allen...

DEUCE & ALLEN (YUU) — Deuce knows Allen as the most famous figure skater in the world and is absolutely stunned by both his appearance and humbleness. The two accidentally meet at a coffee shop during the games one day, decide to have a drink together, and strike up a conversation. Deuce is fanboying on the inside and trying to hide his surprise that Allen genuinely recognizes such an average athlete as him. Allen, however, already knows Deuce due to closely following all Japanese competitions, and has also noticed how incredibly ambitious Deuce is. Knowing Deuce's pain of carrying other people's hopes and never being the best at anything all too well from his teen years, Allen wants to get to know him better... and what starts off as mutual admiration and a celebrity crush on Deuce's side develops into full-blown love.

OK SO first of all, i think figure skating would've been a good way for reader to clear their mind and express their emotions. I see them as a great skater not only in athleticism, but in theatrics as well. When they're on the ice their emotions are no longer theirs, they're feeling what the character they're portraying feels, and so they put on a hell of a show (/pos). On the ice everything you feel is amplified, whether you're nervous or excited IT'S GONNA SHOW, and so their coach has taught them to use their sensitivity in their favor.

As for the athletic side of the sport (duh), there would be days reader would be or the sharpest skater there is or a deer-legs beginner. They really have to concentrate on their movements and their body. Generally, concentrating on your body could be a good way to deescalate from anxiety attacks, but it could also be sensory hell if they're more sensitive. If they hyperfocus on their movements, then they could be an Olympic champion (which we know they won't be…).

Search for Yuzuru Hanyu's programs, that dude represents what i'm picturing.

Now, while it isn't a confrontational sport, the competitive side is TOXIC. Weight expectations, skipping school, jealousy between competitors, the pressure of having to be young and strong, etc. I don't think reader would survive more than their local competitions and once-in-a rainbow-moon a national. I see reader practicing their sport in a small rink in their city, with their coach being by their side since they first started skating (maybe reader and Yuu met on the rink but Yuu didn't care to progress on the sport?? Or what if they've practiced pairs??), maybe the coach sees their potential but knows reader won't get there.

I don't think reader would skate in pairs with other students because for one, you REALLY NEED trust in your partner and reader doesn't even trust themselves, not to mention how often the student would have to touch them in their program. Second, they also have to learn new techniques, which they can do but it's hard when you've been skating a certain way all your life.

OMG WHAT IF YUU SKATES IN PAIRS WITH READER AND MAKES EVERYONE ELSE JEALOUS THAT THEY ARE THE ONLY ONE READER TRUSTS- (this isn't the yuu shipper in me talking, no).

Also, you can buy generic skates but you really need boots adjusted to you that give you the support you need. It would be funny if Sam really had your exact measures, bro truly has everything in stock. Though, skates are expensive as fuck. Maybe not in Twst?

In modern competitions, ladies need a quadruple jump and/or a triple axel to stay competitive, this is mostly due to the Russians treating skaters like plastic cups.

I imagine the competitive sports would be different in Twisted Wonderland since they have magic and all, but i don't think it would affect this one more than the endurance. I think using magic would be considered cheating as would doping be in our world.

So, i think reader would be ahead of the game in Twisted Wonderland. If they've prepared as they would for competitions in our world, they would easily win the money XD if only their anxiety lets them…….

im not a figure skater but every time I go on the ice all my mental chatter ceases and I just... glide, race, focus on the cold nipping. it def helps me which is why im so fond of the idea of reader being an ice skater in her old life.

I like to imagine the first time someone saw 🌀 reader ice skating, they thought they were hallucinating. because what do you mean the usually hunched over, shaking with nerves, barely making eye contact vice house warden of ramshackle just did a triple axel as graceful as a gazelle jumping in the safari. WHY IS SHE TWIRLING LIKE A DRADEL WHEN SHE TRIPS OVER AIR???

I hate the trope 'badass clumsy assassin' sm... but quite literally, the moment mc steps on the ice its like she's a new person. ofc there's days where she's like a newborn fawn learning to walk for the first time, and other days where she's ripping up the ice like a professional- but all her worries go away as he blade slices the ice.

as someone who was in HIGHLY completive soccer (tooting my horn, but I went to an elite training facility for a few years before my mental health really effected me. and was on a showcase team where our only goal was to get into AMAZING colleges via soccer) I want to think that mc was at one point super gong-ho about ice skating. eat, slept breathed it. everything had to be perfect and if it wasn't she would have a breakdown. she didn't care for others because she had a GOAL. until maybe she accidentally hurts yuu (if they're pair skating) and realizes what she's become. and she has a love hate relationship with the ice and will only practice solo as to not hurt anyone. and practice alone because now whenever there's pressure/ someone who she cares about watching her she gets really anxious, self sabotages herself, or even snaps back into her perfectionist mindset.

OR

maybe she's good enough to BE a nationally ranked figure skater if she goes solo but she only wants to do pairs with yuu. or if she is solo she doesn't have the confidence to go national. always finding a way to sabotage herself because of her fixed mindset.

YUU AND MC SKATING IN A PAIR AS A SURPRISE TO THE STUDENT BODY, AND SOMEHOW MAGIC IS INCORPORATED AND IT MAKES THE SPINS AND JUMPS SO MUCH BETTER. IMAGINE IF THEY START FLYING OR EVEN MAKE NEW JUMPS / COMBOS BECAUSE OF THE MAGIC

yoi concept where yuu and reader are given a concept to skate to (eros) and the cast gets jealous seeing them EROS ON ICE???/ or imagine the yurio skate with the black haired guy at the end of the series AHHHHHH

and I actually had no idea ice dancing was different from figure skating!😲 that's actually really interesting ngl, I just thought ice dancing was a fancier way to say figure skating 😭

Alright I won't include the heroes since I am pretty sure they all would be just shooked on what they did pre-overblot and Snow White definitly felt deja vu.

Considering she literally orders people to be beheaded, she wasn't really surprised and in her he deserved punishment cuz yeah. But she did understood that in Twst murder isn't exactly tolerated.

Well he did founded that sorta extrem that Leona tried to destroy Ruggies hand but then he remembered that he did tried to push the blame to the hyeanas so.....it kinda fits.

Also the three hyeanas in question were not happy in the slightest when they heard about it, defintily gave Scar a "bombastic sideye"

Hi! I was wondering if I could get a matchup with a character from twisted wonderland.

My name’s Rachel, I’m 19, and my pronouns are she/her. My zodiac sign is Taurus and I’m an INFP. 

For my personality, I’m really bad at initially talking to people and definitely more introverted. I opt to spend my time alone rather than with people. I do think I’m creative and more enjoyable to be around after knowing me for a while. I’m compassionate and care a lot for people close to me, and I do my best to appreciate them. I’d like to think I’m good enough to be in the olympics but definitely not. :) Other just general things I like doing are baking, and sewing. I’ve found that I try out new hobbies a lot but get tired or forget about them pretty quickly, so the ones that stick are pretty important! I wouldn’t say there’s much that I dislike, but I absolutely hate any bug ever. I’m also not a big fan of fish or seafood at all. 

I honestly feel like my appearance is pretty boring. I have dark brown hair a little longer than my shoulders. It curls up into waves at some parts but is straight in others. I honestly hate how it looks but don’t really have the materials to do anything about it. I have dark brown eyes, and fairly long eyelashes. My skin is pale, I’ve tried to tan before but it doesn’t really work. I’m 5’7 and pretty slim. I have been told by strangers that I could be a model though, so that definitely helps with my confidence. I feel like if I was a color, I would be a muted lavender color. My favorite is pink though. Total contrast to my style/aesthetic, which is very streetwear and kinda grungy. I definitely admire more coquette styles, I just don’t think they suit me well.

Ergo, I like to imagine that he confesses when one or both of you are in danger, such as when you’re recovering after an overblot, or when you get back from some dangerous adventure, and he realizes that losing your friendship over his feelings is better than losing you altogether. And so he tells you, face red but eyes completely serious.  

It’s not necessarily romantic but it’s so dramatic and charming nonetheless.

Yudai is a tanned man of average height and a toned build. His messy hair reaches his shoulders and is a fiery red color, usually put in a small low ponytail. There are gold round glasses that frame his aqua blue eyes. On his neck is a pearl necklace with a purple clamshell attached to it.

Normally he’s wearing a light blue short-sleeved jacket; underneath is a gradient purple tank top with a beach design, complete with palm trees and all. His knee-length shorts are a dark greyish-green in color, and his sandals are dark blue.

Personality

Yudai, to describe him rather simply, is a huge bundle of energy. He’s spirited and bright, being affectionate to those he that likes or admires. He holds a huge passion for adventure and exploration—One that is “mistakenly” called rebellious by his father, according to him. His curiosity leads him into a lot of trouble. On another note, he has a bit of an ego due to his prodigy status.

Despite how kind he can be, Yudai has a temper that can make him incredibly spiteful to those that he dislikes. Calling them names to provoke them, roasting them right in front of their face, doing things that would make them angry, etc. He just becomes aggressively petty. This brat can hold grudges for a long time, you see.

Ironically, he can be pretty overprotective of people he cares about to the point it’s almost overbearing. This overprotectiveness can also lead him to be even more reckless than he already is, such as going straight into fighting without a second thought. I guess he and his dad are more similar than he thinks!

Hypnosis Mic

His mic is blue and handheld, with a spiral wave wrapped around the hilt and a shell around the mic grill.

His speakers take the form of a large open clamshell with a white spherical speaker inside acting as a pearl.

Yudai’s rap ability is…a secret, lol. Let it be a surprise during the rap battle, don’t you think that’ll be more interesting?

Much like Koyumi, he mixes rapping and singing together, often switching between the two. Sometimes when rapping he speaks other languages too, including his native one.

Trivia

As mentioned in the opening post, Yudai is also a TWST OC who’s twisted from Ariel, and the Little Mermaid from the original book as well. His quote is the beginning of the song “Part of your World”.

His birthday is the release date of The Little Mermaid book.

His MC name is a reference to Repun Kamuy, the god of the sea, who’s sometimes depicted as an orca / killer whale.

He’s originally from Hokkaido.

He’s left-handed.

Yudai has a VERY large voice range. His voice can be really high and sound like a girl, it can go incredibly deep, he can hold high notes for a long time, he can imitate other peoples voices, etc. This talent of his is why he’s also a musician and voice actor.

He really loves sea creatures, especially the super scary and mysterious-looking ones.

On that note, Yudai wants to be the first man to ever explore the remaining 80% of the ocean just to see scary sea creatures. He wants to be the first person to ever reach the bottom of the ocean too.

Not only that, but all of Diasomnia will be like “how do you function without magic” since most of them grew up using it. You’ll show them magic-less technology and they might be super impressed.

With the characters you mentioned, I can imagine most of them being true. Epel wouldn’t be scared to fight off most of the animals in your world because he’s probably seen magical beasts that are worse. Then there’s Jack who’s just confused, and then Ace and Deuce are confused about the cow. Vil might think the drama surrounding famous celebrities or beauty gurus is ridiculous and honestly an embarrassment to media culture, but he might like watching some of the reality tv shows. Rook, well, he’s Rook but he might be super interested in archery events like in the Olympics! Trey might be vibing if he ends up in your world but warn him that magic doesn’t work since he might forget and drop something rather than make it float.

Overall they’re a bit confused but they want to hear from you about your world nonetheless. Please talk to them about Disney!

twst characters: idols

who knew you could have so many shower thoughts! i was listening to some music when i began to trail off and think about how the twisted wonderland cast would be as idols. so here’s another shower thought post.

for reference, we are going with each dorm being its own idol group/act that is under one company, nrc. you just happen to be the new manager of all these groups.

NRC STAFF

the senior group. they’re the super juniors of nrc. except for mozus who’s their manager. dire crowley is the member that’s appeared the least on variety shows after the group called for retirement. no doubt the visuals used to be sam and divus. ashton joined after their debut and even though he was older, he was still considered the baby of the group. nowadays they all specialize in helping train new idols and trainees.

DIASOMNIA

diasomnia is the idol group that everyone forgets is an idol group. rather, they’re a band instead similar to day6 and the rose. their music takes direct inspiration from rock. their key visual and leader is malleus draconia, who also is the lead vocalist in the band. lilia vanrouge is the eccentric guitarist who’s bat themed fashion has taken over the alt space. younger members sebek zigvolt and silver occupy the drums and keyboard interchangably. it has stirred a lot of debate within the fandom over who is better at which instrument.

HEARTSLABYUL

heartslabyul is probably nrc’s newest and coolest group. currently they have a pop sound but their leader riddle rosehearts has expressed he wants to branch into different sounds later on in their career. heartslabyul is probably the most idol group out there. all members are trained in singing and dancing. they sound like current day bts. trey clover is their primary songwriter and music producer. cater diamond is seen as the visual of the group and he’s also the most active on social media and hosts the most lives. younger members ace trappola and deuce spade are vocalists and both are treated as the maknae of the group. it’s also very humorous to watch them not get along.

POMEFIORE

pomefiore is a powerhouse of a group. not only are they all beautiful but they’re all extremely talented. all of them are triple threats. pomefiore’s music leans more towards a bubblegum pop sound with a mature undertone. despite being a music group, each individual member has branched into separate solo careers. vil schoenheit, while an amazing singer with immense charisma, is an actor and has been cited to be BETTER as an actor. rook hunt became qualified for being a national archer and is expected to participate in the next olympics. epel felmier has started a career as a social media influencer and a model. some people have criticized that pomefiore is more like a collaboration between soloists than it is a group.

SAVANACLAW

savanaclaw is quite similar to diasomnia in that it’s more of a band than an idol group. the group specializes in pop punk music (sometimes dipping their toes in emo) and due to their similarities, the fandoms of savanaclaw and diasomnia clash about which group is the better one. leona kingscholar is their extremely talented songwriter and singer who plays the guitar. he’s a ladies’ man and women go wild over him. ruggie bucchi is tech savvy and the bassist for the band, often hosting lives in order to let the fans get to know the band more. he is a popular idol due to being transparent about his origins which makes him more relatable. jack howl, the youngest member, is a talented drummer who was rejected by multiple companies before being taken in by nrc.

OCTAVINELLE

octavinelle is a group that puts a new spin on jazz. the smooth songs are songs that everyone can fall asleep too not to mention they’re also really long. octavinelle has the famous leech twins jade and floyd. floyd’s instrument of choice differs depending on his mood but he does specialize in the drums and is very good at it. sometimes he even collaborates with the scarabia duo. jade has been a prodigy in the saxophone since he was a child. the way he can hold air in his lungs is truly amazing. azul ashengrotto is their poster boy and the singer of the band. he truly has a smooth, amazing voice and a charm that a lot of people cannot ignore.

SCARABIA

scarabia is a duo group that stands out for their colorful music videos and their very pop sound and the fact that they’re unapologetic with leaning into their female fanbase. they’re also known as the best dancers in nrc. kalim al-asim is a particularly extremely talented dancer who seems to have an unlimited amount of stamina. how he sings and dances so intensely is truly incomprehensible. jamil viper writes the songs and choreographs the dances but usually will take suggestions from kalim.

IGNIHYDE

ignihyde is a one man show. idia shroud is a soloist and he takes his younger brother ortho with him everywhere to help ease his anxiety. his music is known to be more electronic than pop centric. nevertheless, he’s quite popular due to his shyness. there’s not a lot of information out there and the mystique only adds to the number of fans.

He’ll check your forehead with the back of his hand, giving you icepacks and some special sea remedies that he too used when he was still a young merman back at the Coral Sea.

He wouldn’t be skipping out on classes, so he will list down everything you missed, and he will bring the work back to your place, insisting that he will do the tasks for you as you take your rest.

He would love to come in contact more with you, but all he can do is sit by you with a cup of tea in hand and a book on the other.

Jade would be sure to tuck you in nicely, brushing the hair away that covered your face.

Jamil Viper

The last time you were sick, Kalim bursted into tears thinking you’d die. But in his case, he could actually feel a little panic but always shrugs it off as he cools himself.

Part of me wants to say that Ray/whatever they are now, inserts racism against black people in Genshin/TWST because of a victimhood mentality, which is unfortunately very prevalent nowadays.

On twitter, some asian artists have spoken about how genshin's fandom space there is largely anti-asian, but then on those threads there are comments that are like "ya'll like to ignore anti-blackness which is a bigger problem. We need to address that first!"

It's not an oppression olympics. We can talk about both at the same time. People just tend to ignore anti-asian behavior because Asians are seen as the model minority and it sucks

Unfortunately, I do see this kind of sentiment all over the place, that one group has it "worse" so any and all efforts need to be funneled into fixing that problem first while everyone else has to sit and deal with it.

I received an ask a while back, likely from Ray under anon protection, saying those exact words, that anti-blackness is more of a problem and needs to be dealt with before anti-Asian sentiment. Wrong. Both are equally important and no one gets to put themselves as "higher priority" over others like that.

As for Ray herself, she is 100% nose deep in her victim mentality and as much as I don't like it, the backlash she's getting seems to make it worse. That's not to say I regret this, she absolutely had it coming, but it's the truth. She's only doubled down, multiple times at that, and likely won't stop until she's forced to.
