Stiles, with his loyalty that does not waver, even when it should, that does not demand the same in kind--this boy who walked into a pool of gasoline without hesitation to reel his person back over the edge they were teetering dangerously over, this boy who refuses to sit out the fight when there are lives on the line, who gives and gives because it is right and ignores what he is owed until he no longer expects to be given it, and wouldn’t know what to do with it if he was. 

His sin is that, because he does not demand what he is owed, he does not receive it, so his heart breaks a little at a time while he insists “I’m fine”.

You’re the least talked about of the eight sins, lost due to translation and how few people actually have it: loyalty.

And—curse her entire bisexual ass—she’s gonna do it. She’s gonna tap that less than six hours after rolling out of bed with the potential woods witch, and she’s not even sorry. She’s gonna tap that so hard. “Right.” She gives her best sly smile. “I suppose that means you’ll wanna see the maybe-haunted body part in question.”

Hunger lights up his eyes and curves his mouth. “That really would be for the best.” The last few feet of space between them disappear, and one hand cups her jaw. “Latin rites work best when said at closest possible proximity.”

I see that second gif, and all I can think are that he and Peter had a fashion fight--Peter tore up one of his flannel shirts, so Stiles took a bunch of the shredded pieces and sewed them over one of Peter’s cardigans.

@twothumbsandnostakeincanon While I totally agree with you that “better is subjective” would’ve been a totally on-brand thing for Peter to say in response to that, I actually like what he says here better? Specifically because what he’s referring to is something that the Sheriff would know, being a cop--human beings are creatures of habit. It’s a truth that gets a shit ton of criminals caught, because they do things on autopilot without thinking about it. 

Peter basically just admitted, indirectly, to being human. And also, to being flawed. In that slantwise way of his, where he never actually said that at all.
