Hi 👋 Bradley here. I created this tumblr to document my Pokémon adventures. Let this post be a little introduction of sorts. As of this post I have already played all gen 1,2 and 3 games. I created a living dex for gen 1 and 2. As you might know when gen 3 came out on the Gameboy Advance you couldn’t move your gen 1 & 2 Pokémon to gen 3. So I had to start my living dex all over when I started Fire Red & Leaf Green. Lucky for me tho I did play the gen 1 & 2 games on the 3Ds. So I transported my gen 1 & 2 living dex to Pokemon bank. I still haven’t moved them to home yet because I am waiting till I get to gen 6 so I can get some ribbons on some Pokémon. I beat Pokémon crystal in 2021 so I think I completed my gen 1 & 2 living dex around then. I don’t know exactly when I beat Fire Red. It could of been right after I beat Crystal or when I beat Leaf Green. So either 2021 or 2022. I beat Sapphire, Ruby, Leaf Green, Emerald and Gale of Darkness XD, Pokémon Violet and Pokémon Scarlet in 2022. This year in 2023 I beat Colosseum and got Ho-Oh.

I remember when Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl came out and I was trying to beat Brilliant Diamond when the Pokémon company announced they where going to shut down the eshop on the 3Ds. So I stopped playing Brilliant Diamond and went straight back to gen 3. In a panic and fear of losing all my Pokémon I played through all the gen 3 stories. As of this post I have a gen 1 & 2 living dex minus Mew & Celebi. I’m half way through gen 3. I am on Slaking at the moment. Now I know Pokémon Bank is free. I am just worried for how long will bank continue to work? One day they can decide to shut it down like they did the eshop. I took a pause on my gen 3 living dex for now. Because the new DLC came out for Scarlet & Violet. I beat the Kitakami DLC for Scarlet. I just need to finish the Pokédex. I also need to play the DLC on Violet. Before Scarlet and Violet came out I was trying to finish my sword DLC. I got Kubfu that is now Urshifu. After I beat the scarlet DLC my friend wanted me to evolve his glarian Slowpokes he caught from Pokémon Go to glarian slowbro and glarian slowking. I was able to evolve one of his glarian slowpoke to glarian slowbro. But I had to start crown tundra to evolve his other glarian slowpoke to glarian slowking. Which I did not to long ago. I saved at Calyrex and have yet to catch him.

With Detective Pikachu Returns coming out this Friday

I been playing the first one for the first time and I’m currently on chapter 5. I hope I can beat it by the time it arrives at my doorstep.

Tonight I am playing Pokémon Scarlet. I found a shiny Grubbin in an outbreak. I evolved it to Charjabug and I am ev training it for the 7 star Hisuian Decidueye raid that is suppose to happen soon. My favorite twitch Streamer PKMNCast made a sweet chargabug raid build that I’m copying.

Buy ya I am currently doing 3 projects right now.

1.) Trying to beat Detective Pikachu

And once I do I will be playing the sequel.

2.) Then after that I might finish the sword and shield DLC Crown Tundra

3.) Then Finish my Gen 3 living dex minus the ones that are unobtainable of course.

Pokémon White 2 (used) Funny thing about this one is when Pokémon X came out I wanted Rattata so bad because I had one in my blue version. I remember when I was a kid the kids in elementary said Rattata sucked. So I caught one and put it in the daycare and when I beat the whole game I came back for it. I can’t remember if it was level 100 or I trained it a little to get it to 100. But anyway I ended up beating the whole elite 4 with it. So I bought a used copy at GameStop cause I was told you can get Rattata in it. I didn’t even start a new game. I continued on Daniel’s save and looked up on YouTube where you could catch one and the first one I saw I caught with a master ball.

I recently bought my friend a Switch Light with a micro SD Card. I also bought him Pokémon Violet, Pokémon Let’s Go Eevee, Pokémon Sword, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Legends Arceus. It doesn’t seem like he’s into it but whatever. Whenever he wants to play will play. I’ll just have to journey this journey alone.

If I could go back in time I would tell that kid who told me Pokémon isn’t cool anymore that he’s not cool anymore and continue playing Pokémon.

Poké Ball: First introduction to Pokémon:I used to watch little bit PokeAni as a kid (even after my mom was mad at me because of it, since she hated Pokemons for some reason I’ll never know), and I had no idea that there were Pokemon games until my brother borrowed Pokemon Diamond from our cousin and then I was like ‘whoa what is this game?’ and that’s when I fell in love with Pokemon. :’D

Great Ball: Favorite Pokémon game:Hmm…Well this is kinda hard one to answer since I love pretty much all the Pokemon games I’ve played, but I think my favorites are Platinum, Sun/Ultra Sun and HeartGold (Pokemon walking behind you is best thing ever) I also love PMD: Explorers of Darkness. :)

Ultra Ball: Favorite Pokémon type: Dark and Fairy types. I also like Ghost, Psychic and Flying types. :’D

Master Ball: Favorite Legendary Pokémon: Definitely Latios. I just love it so much.

Level Ball: Highest level Pokémon you’ve ever raised: Well uhh…I have probably raised something like 15 or 20 Pokemon (overall) from lvl 1 to lvl 100 and like 5 of them are Tyranitars. Mostly I raise my Pokemon at only level 50 since then I can use them at Battle Spot and Battle facilities. :’D

Moon Ball: In the Pokémon games do you prefer morning or night:Definitely nights since I love Dark and Ghost types, and they appear more often during the night. :)

Friend Ball: Favorite rival/companion: BARRY. He’s so precious and I love him from the bottom of my heart. And Gladion! I love him too! (What is this thing with blonde boys being so pure?) Also Green/Blue/Gary (whatever you call him) is one of my favorites >v

Love Ball: Favorite Pokémon: Azumarill and Tyranitar.

Heavy Ball: Least favorite Pokémon: So Landorus, Tapus and Ultra Beasts are Pokemons that I hate with burning passion, thanks to the rating battles. Haha…

Sport Ball: Favorite side activity in the Pokémon games (contests, Pokéathlon, etc.)Well Pokemon contests and Battle Frontier are my favorite activities in Gen IV. And in Gen VII I love spending my time in Battle Tree and Alola photo club. :)

Premier Ball: Favorite shiny Pokémon:Probably my favorite Shiny Pokemon are Charizard and Mega Gardevoir. I don’t have either one of them thought, since I’m not really into shiny hunting. :’D

Repeat Ball: A Pokémon you’ve raised more than once:Tyranitar. I have raised three of them in Gen IV, one in Gen V, and two in Gen VII. And five of them are at level 100 lol

Nest Ball: Favorite Region: Sinnoh. Definitely Sinnoh. :D

Luxury Ball: If Pokémon were real, would you travel alone or with friends:Most likely I would traveler alone, but I would also traveler with my friends, if we’re heading for a same town or city. And of course I would never be alone, because I would have my Pokemon by my side. :’D (God I wish they would be real)

Heal Ball: Favorite Pokémon merchandise:I literally LOVE that Pikachu plush I bought for myself (because I needed to treat myself lol) and IT’S SO CUTE. It “talks” when you press it’s tummy and also it’s cheeks light up and it’s ears twitch and it’s so cute. I love it!

Cherish Ball: Best Pokémon memory:As I mentioned earlier, my mom hated Pokemon for some reason, and I wasn’t allowed to watch it as a kid. But one day I was watching TV alone and suddenly Pokemon started. And I had almost watched the whole episode, until my mom came to that room and she was like "What I have told you about watching Pokemon?” and then I knew I was screwed up, but then I tried to cover it up by telling her that “I thought it was a commercial”. And she didn’t believe me for some reason…:’D

Park Ball: Worst Pokémon memory:Probably when I was bullied for liking Pokemon and almost stopped playing completely because of that. Those were awful times…But luckily I didn’t stop playing. Pokemon is one of the reasons why I am still here tbh

Dream Ball: Dream Pokémon Team: My current main team is my dream team actually. :’D It has all Pokemons I wanted to have in it: Azumarill, Excadrill, Latios, Togekiss, Gengar and Salamence. (I also love Tyranitar, but sadly there can only be 6 Pokemon in my team, so I needed to leave her out…) I use that team on rating battles, even though they might not be the best ones to use there. But honestly, what’s the point of battling, if you don’t use Pokemon that you love? Exactly. :)(I also call my team Glitter Squad lmao)

Pokémon Platinum Version (ポケットモ���スタープラチナ Poketto Monsutā Purachina?, lit. Monstros de Bolso: Platina) é um RPG eletrônico da série Pokémon desenvolvido pela Game Freak e publicado pela Nintendo para o Nintendo DS. É a costumeira versão melhorada do jogo anterior da série, Pokémon Diamond e Pearl no caso. Foi lançado em 13 de setembro de 2008 no Japão e em 22 de março de 2009 na América do Norte e na Europa.

O jogador controla um personagem criança de gênero e nome selecionável em sua aventura pela região de Sinnoh; que começa ao receber um dos três pokémons iniciais – Chimchar, Turtwig ou Piplup – do Professor Rowan. O pokémon mascote dessa versão é o lendário Giratina, que tem um papel central no enrendo do jogo. Sinnoh Sunday 9/24

We’re hosting Captain Lana’s Platinum Nuzlocke tonight at 8:30pm ET! Join her as she fangirls her way through Sinnoh and tries not to kill too many party members (RIP Muffin & Cocoa). Suggest nicknames, gameplay, and additional rules. Also, other mods will be there wondertrading various shiny BR pokemon with a timer! So it’ll be fun. :)

What’s a Nuzlocke, you ask? Basically it’s playing a pokemon game with self-imposed rules that make the game more challenging. Some rules include:

Any Pokémon that faints is considered dead, and must be released or put in the Pokémon Storage System permanently. :(

The player may only catch the first Pokémon encountered in each area, and none else (though duplicates can be ignored).

Players must nickname all of their Pokémon for the sake of forming stronger emotional bonds.

A black out/white out is considered to be "game over", even if there are Pokémon left in the PC (though for the sake of streaming a cohesive game we’re not going to do this one.)

Etc.

Some rules that we’ve implemented based on chat member suggestions:

A Pokemon that has died can stay in the party as a “zombie pokemon” but but if it dies again, it is permanently dead

Zombie pokemon can only use 1 move -- the last move it made before it’s first death.

Zombie pokemon can be brought back to life if it evolves OR wins 20 battles with it’s 1 zombie move.

A small rough sketch of Napoleon smiling turned into a study of Nijike’s coloring style and how this artist handles color and light. It’s a very pretty way of depicting it, and it’s one of my favorite coloring styles… but when it comes to executing it, I have to think about where the light hits.

I tried it with my drawing app’s watercolor brush and added in the crayon-like texture for the lines.

Here are some of my silly doodles from the TPP Lore Discord server! I didn’t want to delete them, since I really like them.

I came to the server to learn more about the lore, and I learned that the new host’s name was Yuu.

They described him as a pop-star who was very flashy and fashionable. He has a pretty face too, so it reminded me of Lil’ D, a fashionable host from the X run. I wondered what it would look like if they met, so I made this:

First, we have Yuu showing Lil’ D his outfits. D seems very shocked, but impressed!

These outfit designs were created by “Tranzi72,” a creative artist in the TPP fanbase. Yuu’s first outfit in the upper right was inspired by the designs of Plusle and Ampharos. The second outfit across from it was inspired by the designs of Tropius and Typhlosion.

Of course, I imagined that D would love the outfits. So much so, that he would hug one.

The topic of Pokémon inspired outfits came to mind, and I remembered that I tried to make a Mega Charizard X outfit once.

There were many designs, and I can’t believe that this was something I considered:

Grumpy D in a Charizard X pajama onesie. With guest stars Reese and Yuu, laughing their heads off at how ridiculous it looks…

Reese, from the Gauntlet Blaze Black 2 Run, and Yuu, from the current Grand Colosseum Run, are considered to be one of the more fashionable hosts.

But of course, one could never forget the man who started this whole fashion thing… Napoleon, from the Platinum run!

If Yuu, D, and Reese manage to become fashion buddies, why not let Napoleon in the group? He’s as good as them (or maybe even better).

We joked around that he would host a fashion show just to bet on the winners. I think he would secretly bet the most on D, just because he’s family.

D would be very grateful for his cousin betting on him (once he finds out, that is). Napoleon’s shy younger brother, Pepe, would be watching from afar, supporting D. He’s very proud.

Wow, this picture was really grainy… But this was my very first fan art for Twitch Plays Pokémon! I always smile at the reasoning behind Pepe’s color scheme.
