A small rough sketch of Napoleon smiling turned into a study of Nijike’s coloring style and how this artist handles color and light. It’s a very pretty way of depicting it, and it’s one of my favorite coloring styles… but when it comes to executing it, I have to think about where the light hits.

I tried it with my drawing app’s watercolor brush and added in the crayon-like texture for the lines.

I feel like Pearl is the type to say stupid things. Sometimes. It’s one of the few things that the brothers can agree on, but Leo just thinks Pearl says dumb things all the time.

Pokémon Ultra is a terribly crude hack of Pokémon LeafGreen. The maps are nonsensical as well as the dialogue, and it really feels like you’re going through a glitched video game world.

But at least we got the most memorable starter Pokémon, some slime thing we nicknamed Lull.

MORE DOODLES FROM THE DISCORD SERVER??

Yeah-

I had the urge to make a Pepe emote for the discord lore server, and it just spiraled out from there.

Here are some of my silly doodles from the TPP Lore Discord server! I didn’t want to delete them, since I really like them.

I came to the server to learn more about the lore, and I learned that the new host’s name was Yuu.

They described him as a pop-star who was very flashy and fashionable. He has a pretty face too, so it reminded me of Lil’ D, a fashionable host from the X run. I wondered what it would look like if they met, so I made this:

First, we have Yuu showing Lil’ D his outfits. D seems very shocked, but impressed!

These outfit designs were created by “Tranzi72,” a creative artist in the TPP fanbase. Yuu’s first outfit in the upper right was inspired by the designs of Plusle and Ampharos. The second outfit across from it was inspired by the designs of Tropius and Typhlosion.

Of course, I imagined that D would love the outfits. So much so, that he would hug one.

The topic of Pokémon inspired outfits came to mind, and I remembered that I tried to make a Mega Charizard X outfit once.

There were many designs, and I can’t believe that this was something I considered:

Grumpy D in a Charizard X pajama onesie. With guest stars Reese and Yuu, laughing their heads off at how ridiculous it looks…

Reese, from the Gauntlet Blaze Black 2 Run, and Yuu, from the current Grand Colosseum Run, are considered to be one of the more fashionable hosts.

But of course, one could never forget the man who started this whole fashion thing… Napoleon, from the Platinum run!

If Yuu, D, and Reese manage to become fashion buddies, why not let Napoleon in the group? He’s as good as them (or maybe even better).

We joked around that he would host a fashion show just to bet on the winners. I think he would secretly bet the most on D, just because he’s family.

Wow, this picture was really grainy… But this was my very first fan art for Twitch Plays Pokémon! I always smile at the reasoning behind Pepe’s color scheme.

For anyone that’s following, I’ll be reposting my old art that I originally posted in Reddit- I didn’t know that TwitchPlaysPokémon (TPP) could exist outside of Reddit (since it’s a niche thing), but I was wrong!

I’ll also be posting any new art I’ve made here.

Art posted here might have some disturbing imagery or concepts (the lore people make about TPP can get tragic at times).

His Guardian

“Icarus is always getting into trouble in Hisui, whether it be jumping off cliffs, running headfirst into Pokémon and angering the voices. I like to think that he’s a rebellious but fun loving kid that just wants to be free of the modern day’s restrictions.

After seeing what Hisui is like, he’s happy to be free and have fun in ancient times where he doesn’t have to trudge through the monotony of school and homework in the modern day. He can just chill in nature or have crazy adventures, bonding with his Pokémon friends.

…But he does miss home sometimes, he’ll admit that. At least he has Arceus as a ‘guardian angel.’
