is the Inbox Guardian a friend of yours who makes sure that before you read the asks that there are no spoilers in it? i've been wondering for a while :)

That I am! I have a log in for this blog and the sideblog @inboxguardian so that I can proactively comb through the asks and other notes for spoilers. So far I’ve caught 7.

When I do catch spoilers I screencap the ask and save it in a folder to show Nick later when it’s not a spoiler anymore, but then it’s deleted from the inbox so he can’t see it himself. I also try to help out with other aspects of the liveblog when I can. I used to help edit chapters and I redid the layout for the blog and the tag page since Nick didn’t know how to and I vet the new Cardcaptor chapters in case CLAMP wants to be sneaky and slip in a TRC/TWC reference that might spoil him.

I consider him a good friend and the liveblog makes me and so many other people happy that helping out where I can just seems like the right thing to do.

omg ive loved TRC and TWC for ages and i started HQ!! last year and got fucking obsessed and i came here from iwaoi art and i was looking through your Tags page and saw TRC and TWC! i get so happy when i follow someone for a big fandom and see that they also love CLAMP. i cant believe that the CLAMP fandoms are so small :(

Oh man, I really need to catch up on TWC, but TRC just broke my heart into a million tiny pieces (in a mostly good way). My friend actually read it very recently and all the feelings came bubbling up again when she liveblogged it to me. I think it’s because most of their works were published/aired a long time ago when manga/anime wasn’t this popular? CLAMP has some amazingly creative worldbuilding and storylines, and I’m amazed at how they can do anything from sweet and touching to ripping your heart right out of your chest :’) I got into them through Angelic Layer and then Card Captor Sakura... and boy, was I not ready for X. I remember reading School Detectives, Clover (which also gave me TONS of feelings) and Wish (and I found out recently that it was sort of based on JJBA? and there’s a shippy JJBA doujin... definitely explains the MC’s hair, omg...)I’m not that active in the TRC fandom BUT there’s definitely a die-hard core, especially if you ship Kuro.fai (and I mean, by CLAMP standards they’re pretty much canon).They have something called the Kuro.fai olympics yearly and write some amazing stories!
