pairing stats - adam du mortain x detective regina bishop from the wayhaven chronicles (by @seraphinitegames)
i was inspired by this ask and wanted to show side-by-side stats of my detectives with their RO. as you can probably tell from some of the overlapping stats, that these two butt heads a lot.
[Nate x Cassie] [Mason x Ria] [Mason x Brooklyn] [Felix x Harley] [LT x Lyra]
the gorgeous art of adam du mortain was commissioned from @commander-sarahs-art and the beautiful art of my detective was commissioned from @kimchi-toast. please commission them if you can, they were amazing to work with!

POV you're specialist agent M, you've just gotten back to Unit Bravo's warehouse after a mission and you climb up to the roof for a quick smoke

My memory might be failing me again, but I think some at some point mentioned that it would be funny if ub was so popular in the supernatural community that people made edits of them lmaoo. If people made edits of your detective, what type would they be? (Has your detective gotten along enough with them for them to even make those edits?)

A didn’t break any of the detective’s furniture this book, because they were too busy breaking the detective’s heart.

I like to imagine the vampires as the same heights no matter what, which I've realized in combination with Kira being 5' even makes for a pretty entertaining height difference

woman (reading)
attachment theory, chapter 3 The Wayhaven Chronicles Nate Sewell/Holland Townsend rated M
May, This Year He'd first seen her in the archives library; he'd been seated at one of the long tables, engrossed in an eighteenth-century diary (the observations within were detailed and meticulous, the writing dense and overly florid) when he'd looked up, drawn from his reading by a soft noise somewhere near the middle of the room.
The sound came again.
This time, he heard it clearly for what it was: a quiet curse, punctuated by a heavy sigh.
There, seated a few tables away, was a woman, her golden head bent over a stack of old books, chin resting lightly on the palm of her hand, her gaze fixed intently on the open folio in front of her. He wondered what was in it that it should have such an apparently deleterious effect on her mood.
He stared at her profile for a long moment. The early afternoon sun slanted through the large, south-facing windows, bathing the room in a honeyed glow, the shafts of buttery sunlight reflected in her hair, the color almost white-blonde where the light hit it.
