Sooo about sea dragon YN. Let's just say I'm obsessed already lmao

idk if it was already mentioned but seahorses have a huge habit of traveling while their tail wrapped with their mate's one to not lose each other in the current. They actually are so romantic creatures if I'm being honest. (Yn too smal to wrap their tail fully around Clip but still tries? It's just cuteness attack on both Orca man and us 🥺)

Another example is what sea horses couple will every morning engage in ritualistic dances to greet each other, moving through intricate, rhythmic sequences of twists and twirls for minutes to hours on end. They engage in this to unsure their bond, help syncing their reproductive cycles and verify each day that their partner is both still fervently committed and, frankly, alive. (I can't get out of my head the image of amused Eclipse watching leafy YN dancing for him first thing in the morning)

Leafy seadragons can clump together in a group that looks like a floating mat of seaweed if there's too much danger. So imagine nervous YN trying to hide from other predator by clinging to Eclipse while trying so hard to imitate some sort of seaweed stuck on him or smt lol

That's so cute—seahorses are the romantics of the sea!!! Y/N wraps their around Eclipse for cuddles and to be pulled by his stronger, faster swimming. (Eclipse never gets over it—he loves how they cling to him so tight!)

Dancing rituals are so sweet! Eclipse considers singing to be an intimate and bond-strengthening gesture, so each morning would be filled with Y/N's dancing and Eclipse's lullabies! They're quite the couple at first light.

Oh my gosh, Y/N changing to really, really pale yellow and dark, verdant green in an attempt to blend against Eclipse's black and white markings while holding onto him is adorable. Seadragon Y/N is very nervous and tends to cower when they feels there's too much danger. Eclipse would chuckle and whisper that there's no need for them to be afraid—he won't let anything or anyone hurt them.

Birthday Chapter TWAY (Jushiro/F!Reader)

I tried my best to make it to his birthday time. I'll update more of the story slowly.

You and your roommate have been doing great for a few weeks. He’s respected your boundaries and cooks for you—not only dinner but lunch and breakfast. It was a perfect change of pace for you. He said he was a teacher, but you hardly see him grade papers at home. Perhaps it was just as your mentor had said, “Don’t bring your work home; enjoy life.”

As you were walking home, you had picked up a present. If you recall correctly, his birthday was on December 21st. You had to research on your own in case he was a felon. But his rep sheet was clean. Good things do come to you at times. 

While pondering whether you should buy him a birthday cake, you already ordered a light green one. You weren’t sure he would even want to celebrate his birthday with you. But, you constantly find yourself happiest when returning home from work. You always looked forward to going home now that you had a new roommate. 

When you arrived home, there wasn’t much going through your mind, but you had prepared to return to a cold, dark flat. As you opened the door, you were greeted by bright lights and your roommate cooking what smelled like a high-quality dinner, as usual. 

You were shocked but smiled, clearing your throat a little, “I’m home.” It wasn’t your routine to do so; it was more requested by your roommate, who stated that it felt more homey like that. At least it wouldn’t scare him like the first few times you came home from work. 

You watched him turn towards you as you closed the door behind you. His emerald green eyes lit up with joy. " Ah, welcome home! How was work today? Dinner’s ready; I’m just preparing some dessert.” 

Where was he a few years ago when you were looking for a roommate and stumbled upon your toxic ex? You smiled, “The past is the past; at least he’s here now. " Did you come home early? That must have taken you a while to make, and it was such high quality!” 

He was urging you to sit and helping you put your bag down, hang up your coat, and put away the cake you bought for him, but he didn’t pry into it or look at it. “It was an early release. It started to flurry, but now it stopped, did you see?” 

“Ah, no, I’m also not a fan of snow. " To be honest, you were stuck inside doing paperwork for a new assistant because your boss required you to get a new assistant if you didn’t want that promotion. You gave it to your work buddy for that. You also took the time to retrieve the neatly wrapped birthday present you prepared.

He spoke as you were getting ready to wish him a happy birthday, “Did something happen that you’re just not a fan of snow? Is it too personal for me to ask– is this for me?” his eyes lit up as he accepted the gift, “can I open it?” You nodded with a smile. Watching him open it so carefully as if the gift wrapping itself was part of his gift, made your heart skip a beat. It was a light green tie that went well with his plaid outfit that he sometimes wore to work. “I love it, thank you very much.” 

“Happy birthday,” you responded, moving over to also offer him the cake. 

“Thank you, let’s enjoy it together.” 

“Let’s,” you were glad that the topic of your disliking snow was overlooked. But you had a feeling that the two of you would revisit it. But that’s an issue for the future.

shi qiang disgruntled scientist just trying to build this fuckass cool knife thing gets invited to the military by this loser cop who sort of looks like hes twenty minutes and a harsh word from crying. loser cop talks him into getting into the frontiers of science to infiltrate it and follows him around a bit cos loser cop doesnt want him to commit suicide. shi qiang is completely immune to all the talk. every time they talk about turkeys hes like lmao i love turkey! his vision starts going weird and they try to manipulate his mind. he just takes a nap every time. he doesn't take photos and other than his cool knife thing hes really not that inquisitive. maybe they make the smoke from his cigs do weird things and hes like no way off the shits! anyway. back to work. the countdown appears in front of his eyes and he nearly crashes his car out of surprise. loser cop comes to check on him and hes like oh hey youre police right! someones tryna murder me by making me murder myself. this is your problem now. wang miao listenes to everything hes going through and has the existential crisis for him. shi qiang ends up comforting wang miao through it. they still end up in exactly the same position but shi qiang gets to wear the silly clean room suit

I saw an ask about harpy yn teaching lil orcas baby penguin calls and Eclipse abusing it

But penguins do have calls specifically for their partner. Couples locate each other with unique calls on breeding ground or among crowd.

So the image of Eclipse using baby penguin chirps makes it so much funnier if he didn't knew there's a calls specifically for mates. And will harpy yn even tell him? Maybe one day coming for a baby chirp to snap in confusion like "why do you continue using the baby sounds when there's a mate one??? "

Oh my gosh?!!?

Harpy!Y/N gets fed up with him abusing the baby call and snaps one day, saying "Stop using that! I will teach you a call just for us, okay?!?!"

Of course, Eclipse is more than eager to have something for just the two of them, but he doesn't know that it's actually a thing for harpies. Y/N keeps that little tidbit all to herself until years down the line when Eclipse somehow learns that, wait, it's very normal and expected for harpy couples to share a unique call and he just looks at Y/N like "You didn't tell me that."

"Well, you were annoying me at the time, and then it just slipped my mind."
