How did it get this way? At hoco, I am running for my life. Until they arrived, we were all dancing and laughing.

30 minutes ago...

"OMG GIRL YOUR DRESS IS PRETTY," your friend shouted over the loud music. There were a lot of people, so you were relieved to see your friend. "Thank you," you said, clinging onto her as people pushed by. You were somewhat nervous considering it was your first hoco. The music was pleasant, and the theme was old Hollywood, so it wasn't too horrible. Everyone was having a good time.

As time passed, you began to enjoy yourself and even began dancing with your friends. It felt nice. "Hey, I'm going to the bathroom," you stated before walking away from your friends. When you eventually made it past the crowd and to the 2nd floor of the school building, where the bathrooms were.

Something feels off, you think. It's quiet. It's extremely quiet. "I still need to pee," you muttered aloud to yourself. Going to the closest bathroom, you found something frightening. Blood. The stalls, the walls, the mirrors, and the sinks were all covered with blood. It appeared like a bloodbath. You didn't want to glance down when you noticed a bloody sparkly high heel in the mirror.

As you continued to look at the restroom, tears streamed down your cheeks. Think. You have to call someone and go get someone. You tripped over something as you ran out of the bathroom, trying to pull your phone out of your handbag. Your phone flew across the floor when you collapsed. Shit. Looking to see what you tripped you…

A body.

You cried loudly before getting back up to run again. You were getting near to the steps when you heard a series of screams. Then there were shots. What should I do? you wondered. Going downstairs would be a waste of time. There are too many people, and you don't know how many attackers are inside.

Think.

A side door. On the 2nd floor, there was a stairwell leading to a side door. You began to sprint again, this time making sure to grab your phone. You came to a complete stop when you approached the side entrance. In the hallway, there were two people. You couldn't see them clearly until one of them said anything. "Thank you for getting me out there, it is like a massacre." She was crying and struggling to catch her breath. Lilah. But who is this guy?

"It's ok, not a problem" . Hinata. Two of your best classmates in the school. You were relieved and decided to approach them to tell them about the side entrance until Hinata pulled out a knife and began stabbing Lilah. He stabbed and stabbed until her screams were inaudible, before inserting the knife into her throat. Pushing it in so that it can come out the other end. She collapsed against the lockers. Hinata reached into his pocket for a tissue and wiped his hands and face.

You closed your mouth to keep from screaming and began backing away slowly. You could feel your heart beating and your tears pouring quicker. He's in the way of the side entrance. What should I do? You were attempting to back up gently, especially since four other individuals had arrived to assist Hinata. They all appeared to be older.

You were so focused on the group that you forgot about the lockers behind you. You had backed up into the lockers. Making a lot of noise. All five of them glanced at you for what seemed like a long time before you bolted in the opposite direction. Run. Then you heard their footsteps taking off as well. Run faster.

How did it get this way? At hoco, I am running for my life. Until they arrived, we were all dancing and laughing.

When you arrived at the steps, you were sobbing uncontrollably. Fuck it. You ran downstairs. You were sprinting as quickly as you could. Your heels didn't make it easy. Going along many hallways till you came to a door. You were relieved to see another side entrance on the first level. You stopped hearing their footsteps and decided to take a breather before jogging to the door.

When you arrived at the door, you took a moment to consider whether you wanted to see if anyone was still alive or if they were all dead. A single glance wouldn't hurt. What if your friends were still alive, or if they were only injured? You heard something when you started walking away from the door again. Like a door opening.

Oh shit.

Y/N a poor nursing student dealing with mental health issues decided one night to try to get her apartment in shape. Curiosity got the best of her when she saw a distressed and bloody guy behind her complex. Watching as a group kills said guy. Becoming a liability, wasn’t on Y/N bucket list. She is now faced one of the most powerful groups in the world. Wow, what one look through a window could do for her.

One powerful group now has to deal with a liability that will be harder to just “kill off”. She ain’t like the others, people do know and people will come looking for her. Maybe they will just need to use her nursing skills.

Different types of conditioning for different whumpees is really interesting because it changes their fear responses! Like

A slave whumpee that was conditioned to keep their hands in front of them or else they'd get whacked in the arm with a cane. Their reaction to realizing they're not doing it is to flinch and grab their arm.

A living weapon whumpee that was trained to stand stiff and tall, or they'd be slapped in the face. Now when they catch themselves slouching, they squint and stiffen, clenching their jaw so they don't accidentally bite their tongue when they're slapped.

A prisoner whumpee freezing up and going still when a door clangs. if they blended in, an angry guard might pick a more defiant prisoner to make an example of.

A pet whumpee that was conditioned to pretend to be happy and cute, and was kicked across the floor when they didn't. When they're caught being upset, they skitter to the other end of the room and protect their ribs and face.

The right-hand-slave of the king or cult leader that had to look amazing and represent the kingdom or they'd be whipped that night. If they do something awkward, they go cold and swallow, fearing punishment later.

Just wanted to make something for the AU because I love it with all my heart. Like, I love Sun and Moon in this, the plot, too. It's just amazing, dude. Can't wait to see how the story goes!!

My rambling under the cut-

First of all, I just wanna apologize for how long it took me to finish this qwq

I'm no professional animator and I made a ton of mistakes in the process of making this-

I've always liked crime/detective shows since I was little so I think that kind of explains why I love this AU so much XD

I tried to get as much of the AU into the animation as possible. There are also some unintentional and intentional references to the comic Meg made last year (ex. Sun tugging on his glove, etc.)

When I said I was gonna 'fix' older frames I actually meant "redraw almost the entire animation". Why? My style has changed a lot ever since I started this project. The first half looked so poorly drawn compared to the second half, and there were some scenes that I didn't like or didn't make sense.

I still have the old frames saved and oh boy... you CAN see the big difference and improvement... there are some I posted here some time ago that do not appear in this now. There are some scenes I did leave there, I think it's noticeable which ones because of the style
