— his eyes are filled with admiration for her as she steps over the two bodies. he watches as she closes in on him. he’s never met someone so approving of this side of him. who knew what he was, and why he was. she was the safety.

with one swift move, he takes his hand to remove the mask, his lungs breathing in the fresh air. he inhales deeply before exhaling. dropping the mask onto the ground before him. his eyes; never leaving lizzy. he only offers an expressionless smile towards her before he lefts up the knife and begins to stab the body before him.

Over, over, over, over and over. until the organs were exposed. his hand reaches inside, locating what he searched for before ripping it out. studying it briefly before looking up at lizzy, gently tossing it at her.

Lizzy hadn't seen this stuff yet. As much as she adored this boy, and his creative lust for blood, she still didn't know how far he went with his work.

Stepping over two bodies, Lizzy admired the patterns of blood splatter across every surface, the victim's faces frozen in eternal horror and agony. A little laugh escaped her softly from the back of her throat, pink lips curved into a subtle smile of satisfaction.

Pierce had always preferred... more traditional methods to his killings. Sure, the killing curse was convenient. But it wasn’t fun. It made the whole thing quick and easy, and impersonal.

No, Pierce wanted to feel the life drain from the person. To wrap his hands around their neck and watch as they took their last breaths. To bury a knife deep in their chest and listen to them whimper and gurgle. 

Being in prison prevented him from that human contact he craved so much. That feeling of a man trapped prone beneath him as he carved into his flesh. So the minute he escaped, the first person to cross his path was unlucky. 

He took his sweet time with this one. By time he was finished, the person was barely recognisable. 

He got to his feet, his chest heaving with heavy breaths, and tilted his head to admire his handiwork.

There was a sound deeper in the alley - the skittering of a stone across pavement. Pierce went rigid, his grip tightening on his bloodied knife and turning to the shadows.
