Art for my fanfic A Masquerade in a House of Mirrors! This was a huge challenge to get right, and it took me SO LONG to do, haha. Who would have known being the artist for your own fanfic could be so taxing, but it's so rewarding, too. Please consider checking it out! I don't know a lot about perspective or comics or thumbnailing in the long run, but it's been really fun to kinda push myself out of that comfort zone and really try a lot of things!

So, finally saw the DnD movie.

Very fun. Very funny. Was delighted by the references, less so with the predicability and pacing.

I knew exactly where it was going at every second, but couldn’t wait to go along with them.

A delight of a film, one I can imagine watching again and again.

Also, there was one shot in this film that has me very seriously questing my aceness because I got slammed in the goddamn chest and I’m a little scared.

Considering very seriously a remake of this video now I’ve actually seen the source material.

A redesign of the Contessa from Sly 2: Band of Thieves. I replayed the trilogy recently (still going through Sly 3 atm) and while a lot can be said about the games for good or ill, I always sort of felt like the Contessa could've been a bit... more spider-y? She just reads as a drider with crab claws, and it always sorta threw me off compared to everyone else. Not to say it's bad, but just that there was a non-cohesive element to her design compared to the rest of the game, in my opinion.

I couldn't decide what color to make her gloves, so I'm sharing all three options: white (to match her skirt), yellow (to complement the red), and the original red (to preserve the original design).

I love how fanfics have Edgin being cautious/caring of Xenk's hair, it's so endearing omgg.

One fanfic had Edgin grab the back of Xenk's neck instead of weaving his fingers through his hair, as to be careful to not snag his locs when he was receiving Xenk's *ahem* service.

Another fanfic had Edgin towelling Xenk's wet hair with the proper method after a flood and he rinsed his locs with diluted apple cider vinegar because of course Edgin knows curly/loc hair care with his daughter and dead wife having curly hair.
