Ronaldo at a Christmas Market

Ronaldo really hates Christmas. He’s not fond of anything even vaguely related to the holiday and he tries his best to avoid all of it. The idea of attending a winter market? It’s something that makes his skin crawl.

Someone would really have to force him into doing so or they would have to appeal to him by saying that John really wants to go with him and Draluc. After all, when it comes to John, Ronaldo gets a little weak. John’s a good kid, after all, and he really wants to make John happy…and maybe prove to John that he’s just a little bit better than Draluc, okay.

He’s grumpy the whole time they’re heading there and Draluc’s needling about his behaviour, his attitude, and the fact that Ronaldo is single for Christmas really doesn’t help. He’s going into the situation with the attitude that he’s going to hate the Christmas market, it’s all going to be trash, but that he’ll make John happy and then they can leave. He’s really looking forward to the leaving part.

But when Ronaldo gets there, he’s going to find it a little hard to keep all that ‘ugh, this sucks’ behaviour going. He’s honestly pleasantly surprised by it all, but he doesn’t want to admit that he is.

All the pretty Christmas decorations and the lights display? Yeah, he can’t keep his eyes from returning to them again and again and he’s a little enraptured by them, but that doesn’t mean anything. He’s not a fan of them, nope, not at all.

He finds himself kind of engrossed in all the different types of booths there are. When he lingers over the booths, really scoping out all the cool things offered, he’s simply looking for a gift for John.

He really appreciates the effort and craftmanship of people selling handmade Christmas ornaments, wood-carved toys, handmade quilts and blankets, knitted mittens and socks. Ronaldo isn’t someone who is naturally gifted at things like that and it always really impresses him to see what people are capable of creating. While he might still be trying to hold onto his bitter attitude towards attending this Christmas market, he can’t help himself from genuinely complimenting the wares on display.

He’s careful with his budget for the most part, but he is likely going to pick up a few things. He won’t gift them to people on Christmas, instead giving it to them before Christmas or after Christmas, just as random ‘I saw this and thought of you’ kind of gifts that he won’t let them make a big deal of.

There’s so many food booths. So many. The smells of all these different foods mix and mingle with the smell of fir boughs, the chill of the night air, and he just can’t seem to fill himself up. Most of his money are spent getting delicious hot cocoa and trying all this yummy food. He spoils John with as much food as he wants too. He tells Draluc he won’t buy the vampire any food, no matter what, but ends up getting him something anyway.

When Ronaldo runs into his friends at the winter market, he simply can’t keep the bad attitude or hatred towards the idea of a winter market up anymore. He relaxes into the evening, albeit it getting a little frustrated at the chaos and commotion that always comes with time around his friends.

Seeing Fukuma there does scare him a little though, especially since Fukuma seems to be buying some sort of stretching rack from a table of medieval torture devices (seriously, who decided to give that vendor the okay?)

draluc: nonbinary, ace. he's just so stupidly gnc and haven't really shown any sexual desires outside of watching drinking blood from neck porn?? i don't think he wants to actually fuck anything. ronaldo: bi. with a leaning for men he's trying to ignore by obsessing over boobs. comphet moment. men be fighting demons and the demons are bisexuality.

handa: gay, ace. even outside of my headcanon damn this man is accidentally written hardcore closeted gay with his ronaldo "hate" crush. he's shown to be pretty non-caring with sexual stuff and we are ignoring the mommy complex thing he said when lewd talk hypnotized him unless we inteprent it the same way as dungeon meshi izutsumi seeing the succubi turning into her mom she's never even seen because there is no sexual attraction so we're shown something else instead.

hinaichi: pan, questioning gender. you've heard of malewives get ready for the femalehusband. she has a complicated relationship with her womanhood but she doesn't hate it so she's just, questioning.

sanzu: bi. her ronaldo obsession is kind of very in your face but i think she'll notice something after hanging out with hinaichi :-)

fukuma: aroace. he's just not interested in all that. there are more important things in his life like cats and work.

hiyoshi: pan. he likes to party and it doesn't matter with whom.

sagyou: no label. he doesn't really think about what he's into and what he's not and what he is etc he just exists.

senya: trans. she's a trans woman and is very strong about it since most seem to not aknowledge this due to her appearance.

satetsu: bi. he prioritizes personality over attraction though.

maria: lesbian. women :)

tsujigiri: bi. leans a bit more towards men. he doesn't really have the time for relationships though because. well you know being a fugitive. unless.

kantarou: pan. doesn't really care about the label in the end but just chooses to go with this.

Adam Headcanons

As might be expected, given what happens in the show, Adam actually has a thing for really strong people. He has a little bit of a kink for people who take control and likes being ordered around a little more than he should.

He just wants a strong dommy mommy type partner to step on him, even just in a fantasy way.

However, he’s also really attracted to kindness in a person. One of the strongest ways for anyone to turn him off, even just from a friendship perspective and guarantee that Adam won’t want to be around them, is if they treat service/retail workers like sub-humans or are purposefully rude to people who would be viewed as ‘lesser-than’.

Adam is aware that he’s handsome and he’s not above using his looks to appeal to people or to get him something he wants.

He’s actually really into fashion. He likes looking put together and he keeps up on men’s fashion trends. While he has his own set sense of style, he appreciates other styles and types of fashion, both gendered and non-gendered. While it’s not his thing, he really likes the trend of masculine looking people being comfortable wearing dresses or skirts, really leaning into the contrast.

He likes androgyny and wishes he could pull it off better.

He wants to start working out but he gets intimidated every time he goes to the gym. He has no idea where to really starts.

He keeps going to Ronaldo for advice, thinking that they’re good friends now. Sometimes the advice is simple things, like needing date ideas or wanting to know how to better integrate into the human world. Other times, like when Adam wants sexual advice or to talk about things in that sphere, Ronaldo physically kicks him out and tells him not to come back. Adam always does.

He’s got a really good nose and can quickly learn to tell people by their scents. If someone he knows is meeting him somewhere or going to visit him (or if he’s going to visit them), he’ll know they’re there before even seeing them because of their smell.

Because of this quirk of his, he is very, very picky about his own scent. He showers twice a day, uses only particular brands and scents for his shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair pomade, etc. He does have a cologne he wears, Prada Carbon, that he really likes for its mild, clean scent.

Surprising a lot of people, he actually has a huge love for metal music.

He likes winter a lot and he collects snow globes.

He’s very clean as a person. On top of that, he does actually enjoy cleaning, doing laundry, and taking on household chores. He finds them relaxing and getting to see the beautiful, clean rooms after he’s cleaned gives him a great sense of satisfaction.

The only part of being a vampire he doesn’t like is needing blood. While it’s delicious, and he enjoys it, he knows that it makes others afraid of him at times, which is the last thing he wants. He genuinely wants to live in harmony with people.

Acchan Headcanons

She really likes the hospital but sometimes she wonders what it’s like outside the hospital.

She asks Transparent Lower-Half a lot about the world outside. It’s her most requested bedtime story, actually – just stories about the world outside the hospital.

She actually really loves all her extra eyes and her unique appearance, but the eyes on her chest tend to dry out easily. She needs eyedrops to help keep them moist in the dryness and dust of the hospital.

Her hair is actually really soft and silky.

She doesn’t sleep with her ribbon in but takes it off. She washes it every night and ties it by hand in the morning.

She has a slight lisp at times and struggles to pronounce some words, such as spaghetti. She can’t do tongue-twisters at all.

When she gets really excited, she’s prone to bouncing up and down on the balls of her feet.

Some of her favourite games are hide and seek and tag.

She also really likes card games and turns out to be really good at them.

It makes her sad that everyone’s scared of her at first, because of her appearance. She wishes people would get to know the real her, because she wants nothing more than more friends.

Hook Spider Shot Headcanons

He wasn’t really popular in high school, but he had a decent, though small, group of true friends. Because of this, he’s really come to believe that it’s not how many friends you have in life, but the quality of your friends. While he definitely wants to become popular, he’s going to be happy as long as he has one true, steady friends.

He still looks up to Senya somewhat and Senya acts as Shot’s confidante and mentor a lot of the times.

He thinks dreadlocks really cool. One of his neighbours when he was a kid had them and, to him, this neighbour was the coolest guy ever, though a lot of the adults in the neighbourhood thought the guy was a thug and kind of ostracized him. Still, the guy was nice to Shot and Shot started trying to emulate him. Him growing out his hair and sporting locks started in high school as a way to really show his respect to the man, who moved away around this time.

He’s actually got a good relationship with his family and calls his mother at least once a week to catch up.

He likes to think he’s a feminist.

He has a little bit of short man syndrome and wears his cowboy boots because they have a little bit of a heel. He also makes sure his posture is pretty good, because it gives him the aura of more height.

He actually really likes yoga as exercise, along with tai chi. He finds both forms of exercise relax him.

He’s terrible at video games and gets frustrated by them quickly for the most part. However, he really likes hearing Draluc talk about them and reads his articles.

He buys The Ronaldo Chronicles and displays them on his bookshelf to support Ronaldo.

He only likes strawberries when they’re used in dessert. He doesn’t like just eating them by themselves.

He definitely has just eaten dessert for breakfast, lunch, and supper on really stressful days, just to make his day better and happier.

He’d make his own White Day chocolate.

He’s more popular, as a hunter, among men rather than women.

He has a pet tarantula named Ziggy Stardust.

And yes, that means he’s a fan of David Bowie.

He prefers shorter partners.

He’s kind of messy at home and doesn’t really clean a lot. He only gets serious about cleaning if he is going to be having someone over, especially when his parents are coming to town.

He’ll be really slow at bringing a partner home to meet his family. It’s not because he doesn’t love his partner or because he isn’t proud of them. It’s because he thinks his family is crazy and is worried they’ll scare away his partner.

For example my brain went straight to: Yamamoto is the type to put ketchup on Pasta and get instantly banned from the entire country of italy.

These do not have to be only italian crimes. As a german for example I feel my toes curl outwards when I hear of "sweet Pretzles", and i know for a fact that sticking your chopsticks into rice is not just rude, but a straight up taboo in japan.

So I wondered if you could think of anything. Doesnt have to be KHR related.

You are right! This is definitely a fun idea to think about! I’m sorry it took so long to get the reply out to you, but thanks so much for the request and for allowing me such freedom within it. Also, totally not feeling called out by the ketchup on pasta comment. Totally not…for what it’s worth though, a bag of pasta and a large bottle of ketchup costs about $10 where I live, so it’s cheap and does a lot of meals, which is good for when you’re a broke bitch but still want to live. I hope you’ll enjoy some of the thoughts I have on each of my current favourites or focuses from a variety of my fandoms!

From KHR, two words – blue steak. Because it’s certainly one of Bel’s favourites. His steak? Yeah, he wants it to have just been mooing like, two seconds ago. He wants the steak and the pan it was cooked in to have had just the barest, briefest hint of a romance. They barely kissed, in other words. The level he eats it at isn’t just rare, but even below rare, and it sometimes kind of grosses other people out. Of course, Bel being Bel, he kind of delights in this fact and it makes him even more enamored of this particular ‘food crime’.

From K Project, I think Fujishima eats Kit-Kats without ever breaking any of the bars. He just unwraps the top part of the Kit-Kat bar and takes a big bite out of it.

From Servamp, Tsurugi eats with his hands a lot of the time. Unless it’s absolutely inconceivably to eat something with just his hands, like hot soup, he’s probably eaten a dish using solely his hands before. He does know utensils exist and he’ll use them, only sometimes when it’s a more casual setting, or most of the time when he’s in a public setting, he just vastly prefers eating with his hands.

From Iruma-kun, Sabnock has eaten hard-boiled and soft-boiled egg with the shell on. More than once. He doesn’t even really see much a difference in eating it whole or peeling the shell off besides that there’s more flavour and texture with the shell on.

From Bungou Stray Dogs, when Dazai really feels like pissing people off, or is just extremely lazy, he makes tea completely incorrectly. He’ll just pop a teabag in a cup, run the tap water until it gets really, really hot, and fill the cup and ta-da, tea. He makes sure to let everyone around him know how delicious it is while he drinks it. He also reuses teabags…just never for his own cup of tea.

Rock from Nanbaka definitely puts ketchup on his eggs. He also kind of really digs French fries dipped into ranch dressing.

Togano from Eyeshield 21 is just kind of really guilty of forgetting to season any food he cooks. Despite what people think, he can cook more than just cup noodles, but all of his cooking is pretty unsatisfying and bland, though he doesn’t really understand why, which is why he eats prepackaged foods or takeout so often.

From The Vampire Dies In No Time, Satetsu really likes mayo. He’ll eat just mayo sandwiches – just bread and mayo. He also enjoys it on rice, but he only indulges that guilty pleasure when he’s alone.

Charles Bernard from Jujutsu Kaisen scrapes off the frosting from Oreos and throws it away because he thinks it tastes gross. He then just eats the chocolate parts of the cookies, but instead of chewing them, he kind of just lets them slowly dissolve in his mouth.

In another Oreo related crime, Fenrir Godspeed from IkeRev would eat Oreos with honey mustard unashamedly.
