he leans agains the table, and crosses his arms, still grinning at her --- if this is an apology for the way she’d nearly taken his head off, her brief incapacitation won’t stop him from revelling in it. after all, it’s a rare time that either of them find it within them to apologize to one another --- unless they’re made to.

for another long moment, he stands there, the picture of smugness, and then arthur’s grin softens --- just enough that morgana might notice, but not many others. they know each other well enough by now anyway.  ❛ glad to see you’re on the mend. ❜

character I first fell in love with  :  baby  merlin’s  instinct  to  just  roast  arthur  is  not  only  iconic  but  a  reason  to  pop  the  will  you  marry  me  question. 

character I never expected to love as much as I do now:  morgana.  the  world  has  done  her  wrong  &  she  will  get  everything  she  deserves.  i’m  sorry  but  the  finale  never  happened.  

character everyone loves but I don’t  :  arthur  ?  imagine  you  were  born  &  given  a  powerful  af  warlock  to  protect  you,  did  not  benefit  you�� to  not  know  you’re  codependent  on  him,  &  you  still  die  anyways.  i  love  him,  but  son.  we  need  a  talk.  

character I love but everyone else hates  :  i  will  forever  have  feelings  about  morgause.  love.  her.  to.  death.  the  scene  where  she  was  like,  “you  will  know  when  i  am  threatening  you.”  then  later  mind  controlled  a  soldier  to  take  that  sucker  out.  me,  kris  jenner’s  voice  :  you’re  doing  amazing  sweetie.  

character I used to love but don’t any longer  :   uther.  i  lied,  i  never  loved  him,  but  i  want  the  world  to  know  my  forever  distaste  for  the  man  that  never  knew  he  was  a  villain.  gross. 

character I would kiss  :  percy,  the  gentle  giant.  i  could  live  in  his  arms  that  need  no  armor  forever.  

character I want to slap  :  uther,  then  i  would  want  to  get  beheaded  as  a  witch  because  i’m  that  kind  of  person.  

a pairing I love  :  gaius  &  alice.  ahhh,  they  were  too  pure  for  this  world.  my  heart  was  shattered.  also,  pretty  sure  the  round  table  is  code  for  being  in  a  polyamorous  relationship.  do  you  see  how  they  all  look  at  one  another  ?  

a pairing I hate  :  literally,  i  somehow  ship  everyone  in  this  show.  but  to  be  fair,  the  writers  wanted  me  to.  i  am  but  a  victim.

winter was unforgivable that year. the cold ATE at everyone’s fingers, food became rare even with the palace reserves and people were on edge. all these things that made arthur all the more worried and afraid when uther fell ILL. it’s only the cold, gaius has reassured him. he will be better when the warm comes around. the prince wanted to believe him but his father lay motionless for days now and even though he was breathing, arthur worried that he would not wake. it had become a habit now: every morning after breakfast and before he had to step in as both prince and king, he went to his father’s chambers and sat by his side for a while.

that morning he felt particularly small. gaius had informed him of DEATHS in the lowertown because people didn’t have enough protection to the cold and arthur felt at a loss with what to do. he wasn’t ready for this, he had no idea how to handle any of this. tears stung at his eyes and he swallowed hard in an attempt to be strong just as an arm wrapped around his shoulder. he needn’t turn to know who it was. there was only one person in this castle who could be so quiet and would dare such an intimate gesture. without a word, he too wrapped his arm around her waist and leaned his head into her side. he didn’t need to tell her anything, morgana always knew everything— she always saw right through him and even if it usually irritated him, he was grateful for it today.

my all-time ultimate fave character:  rebekah,  god,  literally  my  favourite  character  ever.

a character i didn’t used to like but now do:   davina.  i  mean,  sometimes  i  didn’t  like  her,  but  for  the  most  part  she’s  a  character  i  grew  to  care  about.

a character i used to like but now don’t:   cami.  i  used  to  like  her  more.  it’s  more  like  i’ve  become  indifferent  to  her,  more  than  disliking  her.

a character I’m indifferent about:  tbh  i’m  indifferent  to  most  i  only  care  strongly  for  rebekah,  klaus,  elijah,  and  kol  ?  but  freya.  or  cami  nowadays.  yeap.

a character who deserved better:  davina.  (  also  rebekah  tbh,  although  i’m  quite  happy  w/  her  being  at  saint  tropez  )

a ship I’ve never been able to get into:   i  never  shipped ha/ylijah.  i  don’t  dislike  it,  i  just  never  shipped  it.

a ship I’ve never been able to get over:   i  used  to  ship  marcel/rebekah  but ...  you  know.  things  happened.  i’m  going  with  klaus/elijah/rebekah  if  not  bc  i  don’t  really  have  a  lot  of  ships  from  this  show  and  i  love  those  three  more  than  anything.

a cute, low-key ship:  josh  and  aiden  were  cute.

an unpopular ship but I still enjoyed it:  i have  absolutely  none  tbh.

a ship that was totally wrong and never should have happened:   the  closest  i  have  to  this  is  freya  with  keelin ?  i  just,  freya  held  her  captive,  using  her  for  the  venom  and  ?  i  personally  can’t  ship  it.  i  wish  i  could  because  the  representation  is  great,  but  i  can’t  considering  how  it  started.

my favourite storyline/moment:   oh,  okay,  i  have  something.  remember  when  rebekah  was  plotting  to  take  nola  out  of  pettiness  back  in  s1,  yes.  yes,  i’m  going  with  that  one.

a storyline that never should have been written:  i  still  have  issues  with  the  ‘rebekah  calling  mikael  in  1919′  bc  it  doesn’t  really  make  sense  for  rebekah’s  character  at  that  time.  i’m  not  going  to  rant  about  it  but  yeah,  that.  also  i  wished  they  hadn’t  killed  davina.  i  get  why  it  happened  but  i  wish  they  hadn’t  killed  her.

my first thoughts on the show:  i  was  lowkey  intrigued  and  curious  to  see  how  it  went ?  bc  i  adored  the  origi/nals  from  tv/d.  so  i  wanted  to  see  what  they  did.

my thoughts now:  i  watch  when  bekah  appears  bc  of  her   (  and  mostly  her  scenes  tbh  )  but  other  than  that  i  don’t  particularly  enjoy  the  show.  i  mean,  i’ve  enjoyed  some  episodes  sometimes,  that  happens  too,  but  in  general  i  haven’t  watched  except  when  rebekah  appears  ever  since  she  left  as  a  main  back  in  1x16.
