With the news of a possible Nope sequel, I feel it is time to dump more insane ramblings at 1 in the morning. Specifically on an idea/possible theme(?) that’s been bouncing around with my head for a bit. Note that this is all just an idea I came up with personally; I’m sure that whatever Peele ends up serving up will slap.
What if Jean Jacket did have babies at some point before the film, or laid eggs or whatever before its death? What if all that aggression and territorial behavior wasn’t just self defense? And what does media eat up more than baby animals (and child actors)?
The general idea is that after the events of the movie, Jean Jacket’s corpse brings a lot of attention to the Haywood ranch, the photo ends up on Oprah, blah blah blah, the ranch’s business kind of improves but not entirely, but the photo makes enough money for OJ, Em and Angel to recover from the whole event without OJ having to jump back into running the ranch again. The three are ready to put all the UAP shit behind them, until the dead body sitting on their property attracts the attention of an infant UAP, the last piece of Jean Jacket’s legacy. It would also be a fun parallel to the events of Nope; Jean jacket kills OJ and Em’s father, Em and OJ team up to kill Jean Jacket, leaving its baby on its own, round and round it goes.
This UAP lacks Jean Jacket’s aggression and hasn’t learned to attack and eat everything that perceives it, but is ultimately not something that should be kept as a pet anyway. It causes havoc around the ranch, but ultimately ends up endearing itself to the main cast in its own unsettling baby murder roomba way. Coined “Jorts” or something related to jeans, OJ, Em and Angel are basically stuck playing stand-in nanny until Jorts can fly off on its own and find its own turf without domesticating it, and keeping the hungry eyes of the network from sniffing out what they deem as just another piece of media to be consumed.
Maybe some scattered Jean Jacket history would be thrown in as well, like some weird parallel to the Haywood siblings with legacy and stuff (I personally think it’s a descendant of the Roswell UFO that was killed or just died, similar to how the Haywoods are descendants of the black jockey on the horse). The hypothetical sequel would probably have some unsettling but kind of cute moments as the main trio tries to wrangle Jorts and keep it from becoming another spectacle for the press to eat up. Maybe a whole bunch of UAPs see Jean Jacket’s now-free territory and think “it’s free real estate” and start wrecking the gulch again. Maybe we’ll get Star Lasso Experience 2: Electric Boogaloo UAP Dinner Party Edition. The trio ultimately ends up releasing Jorts back into the wild where it belongs. Nature is cruel and cannot be tamed, but it still has its moments of beauty.
I’m honestly okay with either outcome of whether or not Peele does make more movies about the Nope universe. Each potential setting opens the door for another interesting way to explore the potential terror the UAPs can bring down upon humanity, but if he chooses to expand on the main story, then I’m down for that, too. I am thinking about an AU/event in another part of the world involving my own UAP, Blackjack, so I’m not one to talk.

finale review (aka the mysterious absence of alex manes)
I wanted to start this off by saying media affects me deeply, so I definitely would not be sitting here writing this if I was just a casual viewer of shows. And I try not to let this happen often, but I woke up this morning feeling deeply troubled. I know “it’s just a show” yadda yadda but for me, and I know it’s the same for many of you, the characters of Roswell mean so much more to me than people I just tune in to see for an hour every Monday and then forget about the rest of the week. Especially Alex Manes. This finale just made me feel some type of way about the writing in this show and I had to find an outlet before I exploded. No personal attacks on anybody involved with the show, especially the cast, will be made because that’s just shitty and I don’t believe in that. My frustrations lie with the writing.
So to start off...Alex’s whole plotline this season has revolved around Deep Sky and Michael. It was really exciting to see him be involved in something that only he was uniquely qualified for, because that was something that was severely lacking in previous seasons. It also presented us with the potential of seeing him finally be involved with the main plot of the season which was saving Max and defeating Jones. When they isolated him a bit in the first couple episodes, I was okay with it because I was hopeful it just meant he would be brought into the fold in later eps and obviously a secret organization isn’t someplace you would invite your friends over to casually. But last night, the PERFECT time for Alex to finally be a part of the big group scenes, he’s sidelined. Again. And it’s even more frustrating because it was on his own turf. He’s the one with the Deep Sky connection and the knowledge it takes to plan dangerous missions when there are civilian lives at stake that only an experienced soldier would know. And it’s not just Alex that was pushed to the side last night. I know people have their own opinions about Maria, but I find it desperately hard to believe that Liz would leave her to fend for herself like that and not even return her calls or let her know that Jones was on the loose. We keep getting TOLD that Liz, Maria and Alex were best friends in high school but those friendships aside from Liz and Maria get mere crumbs on screen. They tried to sell the narrative so hard in 2x06, yes THAT ep, that Maria and Alex were and are thick as thieves but they get one two second reunion scene when Maria wakes up from her coma and the rest of the time... Zero, zip, nada.
I'm just tired of the telling and not showing as well as storylines that don’t pay off or make sense. I love Liz, but the average viewer is not going to care so much about the science and quite frankly most of the time it’s confusing af and really hard to understand. Obviously, a plot is needed to steer the show but the character-driven eps are where Roswell really shines. Because I truly believe the people behind the show understand the characters really well, it’s so evident with the beautiful ways in which they’ve written Rosa and Isobel especially this season, but all of the stuff that usually gives this show its spunk was kind of pushed to the side in this huge buildup to defeating Jones. Only for them to kill him in a standoff that probably lasted the length of one commercial break. I just remember it being 8:42 PM yesterday and being clueless as to how they were going to kill him AND wrap up all the characters in 18 minutes.
Now, back to Alex. Lol. It was just very hard to believe that Alex was on a snack break or something when Jones broke into Deep Sky looking for the Lockhart machine and tossed his boss and Kyle out the window. And he missed his bleeding, barely-can-stand-on-his-feet boyfriend too? Here’s a more believable situation and the one I expected because they set it up this way within the very same episode. Maria stitches Michael up, she drives him to Deep Sky, while Michael calls Alex to give him a heads up and to not play the hero. Some banter and angst and worry for their soulmate that Echo has been allowed to have every step of the way would’ve been nice. Jones appears and him and Alex have that long-awaited confrontation. I don’t know, someone please write a fix-it fic because I just cannot wrap my head around it. Love you, Heath, but he got more screen-time as a guest character than Alex did last night as a main. The Lockhart machine has essentially been Alex’s baby since the beginning of the season and yet he wasn’t even the one to choose to protect it from or relinquish it to Jones. ALSO, I would have normally loved the Alex and Max interaction because it’s been long overdue with the amount of times Max has used it to reverse UNO the cards on Michael, but it just felt like another way to use Alex to prop up other characters. Another big scene he missed was when Michael straight up was about to be beheaded by his own dad like. “I’ll sit this one out” is not in Alex Manes’ vocabulary. He just TASED Jones. And Max and Kyle showed up, so I don’t understand why Alex, who was just with them, wasn’t there too.
In conclusion, I want to believe so badly that Alex is part of this big family that they’re building but I guess we’ll have to wait for another season to see if that holds true. I’m glad they’ve brought Kyle and Rosa more into this #squad but even last night was just Kyle getting dumped on over and over. Sorry, but I’d have to disagree with you Chris, but Malex was not held to the same level of importance as Echo.
P.S. I like Kybel, I’ve always believed they were endgame but I do not like when wIw and mIm ships are seen as secondary to the het ones. Even in the last scene we saw of them, Isobel and Anatsa seemed like an afterthought to a ship that aren’t even together yet. I hope they’re not just going to get rid of Anatsa off-screen, because ending them before they’ve even got a chance to begin in favor of Kybel feels so wrong. If this were the case, I’d even wish Anatsa was not introduced as all, because then the CW would be painting this picture that sapphic love interests are dispensable. I want Anasobel to have their shot at love and not have that overshadowed by Kyle’s pining. Like it’s a disservice to Isobel, Anatsa AND Kyle.
Anyway, I look forward to all of the fix-it fics coming from all of you talented authors. Bless your hearts, you make this fandom go round.
...Now I’m off in search of a finished show that I can vet before I start watching so I can accurately manage my expectations and not have an “oh how far we’ve fallen” discussion with myself after every season finale.

Time for replies!
These be for @princesspiratecat, @jennamaxon, @criquette-was-here, @nimitwinklesims, @eulaliasims, @greatcheesecakepersona, @alienbirthqueen, and @niamh-sims...
princesspiratecat replied to your photoset “Tree’ing a bit. :) Mostly to break up the monolithic terrain texture...”
This actually reminds me of where I live, Lake Arrowhead in Southern California when it's dry. Except I don't see a lake.
alienbirthqueen replied to your photoset “Houston, we have a terrain. :D FINALLY! OMG, what a ginormous pain in...”
this is so gorgeous!! it reminds me a lot of northeast california/nw nevada, which is where i grew up of course haha
Yeah, it’ll work pretty much for any desert-y place in North America. Like, anywhere from the Okanagan Desert in Canada, to the less mountainous parts of Montana down to New Mexico and west to the more interior parts of California, Oregon, and Washington in the US, and then down into interior northern Mexico. Mostly my inspiration for the look of the place is the Great Basin (so Alienbirthqueen is right on!) and Chihuahuan Deserts, though. Not so much the Mojave or the Sonoran because those are generally flatter (and lower in elevation and therefore much hotter/drier) and the vegetation is different. Like, there’re no saguaro cacti, which is the signature plant of the Sonoran, of course. But the Lake Arrowhead area (or the Lake Tahoe area) can work, too, given that I’m adding pines to break up lot-view textures. :) In that, it resembles my home turf in SW Colorado, as well.
Except yeah, no water. The place may or may not have some on-lot water, though, which wouldn’t be big enough to be a lake. I’ll imagine it/them to be springs magically stocked with fish. But I haven’t decided on that yet. I mean, I DO like to build my fishing spots, but I’m trying to go for some authenticity here, trees notwithstanding. ;)
Anyway, basically any higher desert area that’s not a “sandy” place will do, at least with the season set-up I’m giving the place. (Which of course can be changed to make it whatever anyone wants.) It has spring and autumn...mostly because I like to use season-enabled trees/shrubs so that there’s a visual change with the seasons. I get kinda visually bored, if you will, otherwise. :)
jennamaxon replied to your photoset “Tree’ing a bit. :) Mostly to break up the monolithic terrain texture...”
Rest rather green - much better in the second pic. For a moment, I thought you were frowning at the rubbish cart
Well, if we’re being all green and environmentally-conscious, rubbish is bad, right? :) But no, just frowning at the uber-green trees, I’m afraid.
criquette-was-here replied to your photoset “Tree’ing a bit. :) Mostly to break up the monolithic terrain texture...”
Oh, this neighborhood makes me want to create this type of climate setting too! Somehow it feels like a place from a good old 90's road movie. Love the new texture for the pines. Looks way better!
Well, that would certainly be different for you! All your neighborhoods and pics are so green and European and pretty. Which isn’t a bad thing, of course, but I’d be very interested to see what you’d do with a more desert/wasteland sort of environment....
nimitwinklesims replied to your photoset “Houston, we have a terrain. :D FINALLY! OMG, what a ginormous pain in...”
Cool cool cool! It looks so much like your photo!
That’s what I was shooting for. But I tell you what, it was hard! I couldn’t figure out how TS2 decided which terrain images from the terrain default to paint where. It just seemed kind of random, and in some of my attempts, when put into TS2, the terrain was only using 2 (of the four) images in the terrain default, which looked really weird. So in the end, I put in an existing terrain, and then redid the road structure and resculpted most of the hills and such. Then, I still had to edit the terrain default to rearrange the images to suit this particular terrain to get it to look how I wanted. So it was more complicated than I’d envisioned. I could’ve probably put more time into figuring out what was going on with all that, but I just wanted to get ‘er done so I could start building.
eulaliasims replied to your photoset “Aw, c’mon, you didn’t really think I wouldn’t do rocks, did you? :)”
oh, this looks fantastic. I love the scrub--that's always something I've felt some desert neighborhoods need. it adds a lot!
niamh-sims replied to your photoset “Houston, we have a terrain. :D FINALLY! OMG, what a ginormous pain in...”
That looks fantastic! I love the scrubby scrubs- perfect for that environment!
Yeah, for this kind of desert -- the American kind, as in all of North and South America -- there’s gotta be scrub. Pretty much the only American desert that doesn’t have scrub is the Atacama in S. America, since it’s like the driest place in the Americas. :) But even it has some scrub in places. I mean, this ain’t the Sahara or Arabian deserts!
The lack of scrub really, REALLY bothers me in Strangetown, since that’s obviously supposed to be inspired by Roswell, NM. I am still going to play that neighborhood one of these days, but it has to undergo major terrain/deco renovation before I’ll be able to look at it without screaming bloody murder. :)
greatcheesecakepersona replied to your photoset “Houston, we have a terrain. :D FINALLY! OMG, what a ginormous pain in...”
Lovely! Now all that's missing is the Breaking Bad van :)
HAH!. Yeah, I’ve never watched that show (though it’s on our list to watch), but I know that it’s set in New Mexico, though I don’t know if it’s actually filmed there, so...yeah. :)
nimitwinklesims replied to your post “You sound like such a cool person! It's really nice to hear about...”
I often have a hard time keeping the classical composers apart (I'm embarrassed to admit), but Smetana's Ma Vlast always makes me cry -- it was played at my Czech grandfather's funeral... It's heartwarming to read that you like the Czech composers a lot. I'm Dutch but because of my děda I have a fondness for Czech things as well. Also, sort of related, I have played Händel's Harp Concerto at one point (when I was still taking harp lessons).
Yes, Ma Vlast is one of the best pieces of music ever written. IMO, at least. :) I’m not a person who’s into patriotism/nationalism, but I do tend to love music that has a concrete feeling for place, both physically and emotionally, and Ma Vlast has both. It’s why I love stuff that incorporates folk music from a particular country or area, because of that sense of place and time, and the Eastern European composers tend to do that really, really well, which is why I find myself drawn to them. Aaron Copland did that well, too, for American themes. Appalachian Spring (with its incorporation the Shaker “Simple Gifts” song) and the Billy the Kid and Rodeo ballet music and whatnot. Great stuff. I think that this is why I was ultimately drawn to film/TV scores, both in terms of performance and my own compositions. Film scores are designed to have a sense of place and character and sometimes history about them. So I guess it’s not surprising that that’s where I ended up spending more time, professionally speaking.
That said, for all that I am a classical musician, I’m not a walking compendium of knowledge about all of classical music. Certainly not now that I’ve been away from school/academia for *cough* like 30 years now! I have forgotten much of what I did once know, but frankly my knowledge was always pretty specialized. I know much about the body of work of specific composers in whom I have an interest, but much of the rest...I don’t care to know about it, frankly. All the baroque stuff? Meh. I mean, there’s bits of it that I like -- Handel wrote lots of good stuff, for instance -- but much of it just sounds all the same to me, and I’m just not interested enough to know more. Like, while I appreciate his technique and innovations and all that, I just don’t much like Bach’s music, for instance, and I took/take a lot of ribbing for that, but...I like what I like, and the rest of it I’m content to ignore. Which is pretty much my attitude in general, when it comes to music. *laugh*
jennamaxon replied to your post “You sound like such a cool person! It's really nice to hear about...”
The Fantasia on a Theme of Thomas Tallis is an outstanding piece of music. Real hair on the back of your neck stuff. If you like 20th C English choral - my recommendation would be Holst's The Evening Watch. I heard (and sung) it first at college. I was breathless after the first listen.
You know, Holst has a lot of good stuff that no one seems to know about. :) If the average person knows any Holst at all, their knowledge tends to begin and end with Mars and Jupiter from The Planets. Which is a shame. I need to listen to more of his stuff, myself, now that you mention it.

there is a part of ender that misses her home town . she’s so far away from what she knew , from her family , from her old friends ; although she adores her life now there’s a part of her that wishes , by some miracle , that she could be closer to her home turf . if she could pick up roswell and plop it next to her childhood home she would do . at times ender feelings out of place here , like she doesn’t belong , but other times she wouldn’t change a thing , despite the occasional loneliness . she moved away to attend college and loves the friends she has made , the found family she gathered , but there’s always the seed of doubt living in the back of her mind .

$1.3M Buckhead modern is lavish, brazenly different, and surprisingly 15 years old
Bordering woods off Roswell Road, this 2004 four-bedroom capitalizes on its serene setting
Atlanta modern-home zealots unafraid of really standing out in what’s otherwise an idyllic, forested setting could be intrigued by this new Buckhead offering.
Emanating postmodern vibes since 2004, the four-bedroom property is nestled at 3911 Land O Lakes Drive, between Roswell Road and Ga. Highway 400, just east of Chastain Park. And it’s definitely a statement piece.
Neighboring homes generally lean more traditional, though there’s a sprinkling of other styles, including this updated midcentury modern next door, separated by the woods.
Speaking of, the 3,698-square-foot house capitalizes on its proximity to so many trees, via the atypical layout, the multitiered (and partially turfed) backyard and decks, and huge windows so common in contemporary architecture. Keeping so much white stucco clean in such a setting, however, must be challenging.
Curved, wood-clad walls off the foyer lead to the heart of the home.
In various places, the interior harkens a high-end spa, with no shortage of interesting wall-coverings. One highlight is a finished garage with cabinetry so sleek it could be mistaken for a swanky kitchen.
The property hit the market at $1.3 million in recent days with Ansley Atlanta Real Estate, for a breakdown of $351 per square foot.
Records indicate it last traded for $565,000 in the economic tarpits of 2011, obviously prior to substantial updates.
Fireside living room with big nature views.
Curving lines and blonde flooring continues in the updated kitchen. Textured walls of the main dining space are visible beyond.
The master bathroom’s textured pillars, sitting area, and large windows.
Eye-catching wall-coverings continue in the master bathroom, which boasts a coffee nook.
Terrace-level living spaces include a guest suite.
The deck off main-level living spaces, with views of trees.
The multitiered backyard, with outdoor bar at right and playground on turf, bordering woods, at left.

alright so both @afirethatcannotdie and @alivingfire tagged me to do this first lines of twenty fics. i don’t have 20 1D fics yet so we shall see if i have enough wips to fill this out (i’m not gonna expose you guys to my other fandom fics haha). i’m pretty sure all the writers in this fandom i know have done this...if not feel free to!
1. Louis circles his fingers around his glass-- his one permitted alcoholic drink. (breathe into your well, abo)
2. Harry’s face is sweating. (show me how the fire works, dirty dancing au)
3. They all expected that Harry would leave. (run me like a river, crime fic)
4. There’s a knock on the door. (a body wishes to be held & held, abo)
5. Harry comes home to an empty house. (head head heart, sub harry fic)
6. Harry had an inkling something was off when his mum started planning his birthday party. (tall tales for summer, nobility au)
7. Louis notices Harry’s fascination with his nipples by accident. (so that’s a thing)
8. “He's staring at you,” Niall says as he passes behind Louis, quickly disappearing into the kitchen before Louis has a chance to ask what he’s talking about. (like vines (we intertwine), roswell au)
9. Louis wakes up from pressure on his bladder. (strawberry moon, bodyswap)
10. The first thing Louis notices is the rumpled sheets. (stillness is the move)
11. Harry spots Louis Tomlinson as soon as he walks into the party. (lemon eyes, wip)
12. The first time Harry Styles sees Louis Tomlinson in the flesh he’s wearing a loose black t-shirt, sleeves rolled up on the sides, collar slipping low over his collarbones as he steps out of a beat up van. (warped au)
13. “Aren't you a little young for a bodyguard?” (bodyguard au, probably abandoned)
14. Harry’s sighs through gritted teeth as he eyes the pristine row of treadmills. (gym au, dead in the water)
15. “You’re so beautiful,” Louis said and Harry’s breath caught, stomach pulling in under Louis’ hands. (rimming fic for nina)
16. “It’s time for your dates, little freshmen,” Poppy yells out towards the parking lot. (dazed & confused au, dead in the water)
17. There’s really only a handful of occasions during which Louis will get up before Harry and wake him up. (surf and turf fic)
18. “Now I know you’re all going to say this is cheating, but what you don’t realize is this just means Louis gets to pick everything.” (youtuber au, idk what’s happening with this)
19. “Is this Westwood?” Harry pulls at one of the shirts in Louis’ closet, fingering the red buttons. (rich louis au, abandoned)
20. Harry’s supposed to be meeting Louis outside the library but the only people around are two guys making out against a mailbox. (when harry met sally au, abandoned.)
i feel like these are decently varied...but what do i know. my actual writing is quite repetitive i think, my tics just show up more in the meat of the text rather than first lines.
#i was gonna work more on lemon eyes tonight but i've lost motivation woops#i'm gonna go be sad instead#writing stuff#writing memes

Dog Days
There are few things I love in this world more than spending time with my dog. One of our favorite things to do is spend time outside whether that be playing fetch in the backyard, going for a hike on a nature trail, or socializing at the dog park. This post is for all my fellow dog parents out there who want to find the best spots in Atlanta to take their pooch this summer. I’ve narrowed it down to a few of my favorites and want to share them with you all!
First, I want to share our favorite nature trail. I live in East Cobb so on days we want to stay close to home but still get outdoors, we hit the trails at Cochran Shoals on the Chattahoochee River. There is so much beautiful wildlife and scenery here and it’s just a short drive from home. We love these trails because there is always a moderate crowd which makes me feel safe. The trails themselves are very well maintained, wide, and offer lots of shade which is perfect during the summer. We usually walk about 3 miles on this trail and always have a great time.
After a tiring walk, we love to go relax on an outdoor patio at a dog friendly restaurant. Our favorite area is downtown Roswell. Roswell is great because there are so many food options, so you have plenty to choose from. There’s Ceviche for Mexican, Zest for sushi, Grand Champion for barbeque, and many others. There is always a great crowd in Roswell and plenty of dogs so your pup can socialize.
Lastly, I want to share about our favorite dog park. If you haven’t heard about Fetch ATL… look it up NOW! This is an awesome place to socialize with friends while letting your pup mingle with other dogs. This park incorporates two of my favorite things: dogs and cocktails. It is located near Ponce City Market and a short walk from the Beltline. Fetch does all kinds of events throughout the week such as ladies night, movies, fun contests, and more. The dog area is completely turfed which is cleaner and doesn’t get muddy after storms. They also have special staff members dedicated to “bark patrol” meaning that they pick up pet messes and make sure all dogs play nice so the owners can enjoy themselves. My favorite part about this park is that before your pet enters, you must show vet records to prove that they have been vaccinated. My pet’s health is my number 1 priority, so I love that Fetch makes sure all dogs are vaccinated and current on flea/tick preventative. Fetch really goes out of their way to make it a fun experience for you and your dog. If you liked this post, I hope to see you and your pup at some of our favorite dog friendly spots this summer!

Single Review: “One Day at a Time” by American Aquarium
American Aquarium has traversed a lot of ground thus far on the first couple singles from Things Change (out on June 1st via New West Records). The reformed alt-country/rock outfit still helmed by BJ Barham has explored new territory and revisited their standard sound, injecting a new flare into it. And now, the third song in advance of the group’s forthcoming release feels more like something that would have been complimentary of Barham’s solo record of 2016. “One Day at a Time” is a minimalistic song, one led by the prominent though gentle picking of Barham’s acoustic guitar, accented only by some airy notes from the pedal steel guitar and on occasion some light keys. That allows Barham’s most potent skills to shine the brightest: his remarkable abilities as a songwriter and storyteller. This track is one of his most personal to date – and he’s never been one to shy away from dealing with his demons through his music, getting quite introspective in this case as he glances back at his career as a performer. Barham addresses his habits that developed, coming to use alcohol as a “crutch”, a means to be able to perform, while also reckoning past behaviors, not just with his addictions, but also some of the songs he wrote.
“…I'd kick, I'd scream, I'd curse the names of the girls who walked away. You see, the man left holdin' the pen controls how every story ends and truth becomes a martyr for the sake of the song.” The second verse is so powerful due to the overwhelming amount of truth that it holds and demonstrates an immense amount of personal growth given that he has apparently reassessed some of his works in retrospect. “…I guess it comes with the job: Hail! Hail! Rock 'n' roll!” he gruffly croons at another point, practically resigning himself to the fact that those risks were basically inherent to the line of work before making another bold and insightful declaration, “You see, songs fulfill a human need to sit back and watch another man bleed. So, for a moment, we don't have to feel sorry for ourselves.” The title “One Day at a Time” is a self-explanatory one, the basic gist of it being that you need to take things one day at a time, especially when recovering from addiction; Barham continuing to guide everyone along to the point he is currently at in life, having finally found a person whom he wanted to share his life with, still striving to be the best person he can possibly be. “…I'm just gettin' along, rightin' these wrongs. One day at a time.” In the end, “One Day at a Time” is an outstanding song about redemption. It’s about accepting that directly or indirectly your actions affected the lives of others – family, friends, ex’s – and wanting to fix that. Maybe not exclusively through making amends, but at least by adjusting your life and rising to be a better person. Poignant when it needs to be and marked by an uplifting silver lining quality, it’s another stunning example of what an exceptional musician Barham is, this single just highlighting his magnificent talents as a lyricist and singer. Traits of his that only grow more impressive with the passing of time.
