HRE #exhaustmanifold #upgrade and #turbo upgrade for the #Abarth500 #Abarth595 #Abarth695 #Abarth124 #alfaromeogiulietta #abarthgrandepunto HRE Series by Hiller Abgastechnik. After more than one year's development time, we are almost ready to present the HRE series for all Abarth FIRE engines with #tJet and #Multiair. The HRE upgrade manifold is CAD designed, with FEM and CFD simulation, then tested over and over on the flow bench. HRE 1446 BW (billet wheel) turbocharger upgrade based on the Garrett GT1446 For all Fiat 1.4T Multiair / T-jet engines: One of the targets of this project, is to maintain the original look of the components inside the engine bay, while upgrading the performance. Therefore, the only possibility to in achieving such, was to modify the OE / standard turbocharger so everything else, could stay in their original locations. We have mastered this in working with our partners. Our HRE 1446 BW Turbocharger is designed to be a direct retrofitting unit on the car's equipped with the OE Garrett GT1446. The changes made to our HRE 1446 BW are so comprehensive that we just couldn't help but have to explain what might look physically original to the eye, by listing a few: - Compressor side impeller - Exhaust side impeller - Waste gate / turbo actuator The HRE 1446 BW gives much better response to boost compared to the original Garrett GT1446, and is in the performance range of a Garrett GT2554R. Coupled with the HRE exhaust manifold upgrade, we are finally able to come up with a solution that could properly spool up our HRE 1446 BW, with response in low revs similar to the OE Garrett GT1446 setup, to suit the character of the Fiat FIRE 1.4T engines. Our turbo, the HRE 1446 BW, while working together with our HRE stainless steel cast exhaust manifold, can provide a healthy, linear and manageable increase in performance to approx. 250ps or more, while keeping the engine compartment looking original, with excellent quality you could only expect from "100% made in Germany".
