Better Late than never
Hi friend, how are you? It's been a while, and I haven’t been on here much because I've been depressed as usual. You’re probably asking right now, "Are you off your meds again?" and of course, the answer is YES! I’m always off my meds.
I feel like I don’t have much to write about—or I do, but I want to make a YouTube video about it, so I’m not going to do too much writing right now. Just know it’s juicy! I don’t know why I haven’t done it yet. Maybe because my bedroom is an absolute mess, or that my tripod is literally sitting in a Gatorade bottle. That’s probably not helping or whatever.
I’m so unserious about my YouTube, which is why it’s not going anywhere. I saw this quote that said something like, "Just write and see what comes of it." And it’s working—I mean, the proof is in the pudding because here I am, writing. I think I may have found a quote that will motivate me on my YouTube journey. As I’m writing, I’m realizing what this post (or maybe the next one) will be about: how the small, almost insignificant things can really motivate you to live your dreams. Okay, maybe I need to work on that title, but you get the point. Something as small as "Just write, don’t worry about the spelling or grammar, just write." And if you’re reading this, you’re probably like, "Girl, DUH," but it’s really not that easy when you’re hypercritical of yourself.
I’m always so focused on what I’m doing wrong, never about what I’m doing well or how I can get better at the things I’m already good at. Being insecure is such a weird experience, and I don’t want to look back and hate the life I lived because I never bothered to try to live my dreams. Nothing was ever "perfect enough," or I always thought I needed one more thing to get things just right... But things are right right now, boo.
