Hobby: Taking friends onto flights

Personality: A mild membered and sweet jabberwocky who lost his parents as a child. A rare type of beastfolk who was protected in the forest through his parents sacrifice. He is very self sacrificing as he can only be killed by the vorpal sword(does not know if he has a long lifespan due to every jabberwocky being slain before the age of 30). The big brother of the Forbidden Forest who tries not to intimidate others as he tries to make friends.

Unique Magic: Frabjous Day: Turns into a jabberwocky (full "dragon" form). As he gains more control over it he can partially turn. He tries not to use it when possible though sometimes his UM goes off by itself.

Is the first child of the forest

Is the reborn version of the first jabberwocky slain by Alice (of many generations)

Ex boyfriend of Catherine Shire

The first time he lost control of his UM was when he was 14 where he changed form and caused the gash scars down Catherine's back.

His parents sacrificed themselves to turn into "statues" to protect the forest from possible invaders

Often returns home to visit these "statues" and talk to his parents

Is very close to Jensen Byrde (jubjub bird)

Is a great big brother those he was forced to grow up around 5 years old

Was alone in the forest for around 3 years (until Rose was abandoned in the forest, Altair got lost in the forest and Jensen escaped his cage)

Has a habit of kneeling down to talk to people shorted than him

Will cover those shorter than him with his wings when it's raining

J.J.'s Dragon form

J.J., being a dragon fae, has the ability to transform into a dragon. Even though he's based on Jabberwocky, I wanted to combine the Jabberwocky with the idea of my other favorite dragon design. Sombron from Fire Emblem Engage:

So J.J's design would take the claw like tail, the hood of the head, and the wing design while still keeping everything else from the "Alice in Wonderland live action" Jabberwocky design:

When would this form of his be seen? During the first book, when they're fighting Riddle and J.J. flies in to handle Riddle's overblot monster, getting it separated from Riddle in the process so the others can handle him better. While everyone's trying to figure out how to deal with Riddle, they hear a roar in the distance:

And it freaks everyone out as they see something black flying towards them, only to have the thing tackle Riddle's monster instead.

Well, if you took my advice and played hide-and-seek in Ignihyde and found it there somehow, I would name it depending on how it acts.

If it’s more playful and has zoomies a lot name it after @botboy-3000 - Ortho Jr.!

If it’s more of a scaredy cat but also secretly a sweetie and a cuddle bug, name it after @gloomyronin - Idia Jr.!

That being said, if you did manage to find a kitten in the Ignihyde dorm… I’m pretty sure Idia will fight you for ownership of the cutie. 😹

I just realized that if Azul ever found out about J.J.'s UM, he would not leave him alone for a chance to have it. The only ones that know his UM are Heartslabyul and the 4th years. The ability to rebound any magic thrown at you and bounce it back is very dangerous. It's acutally kinda funny cause there's three UM's at NRC that rebound magic.

You have: Deuce: His is a counter where he can release the magic he was hit with and deal a greater amount of damage back.

Floyd: His is a rebound where the magic can bounce back but shoot off in a random direction.

J.J.: His is a reflect where he can 100% bounce the magic back at the caster. EX: If Riddle hit him with "Off with your head", J.J. can reflect it back to where Riddle has a collar on him from his own magic.
