Tribute to William DePauw, with whom I attended Tulane University for graduate school. The two ceramic sculptures were ones he created during our time there. In the smaller journal (completed in 2003–2004) is an image of a larger sculpture by him from the same time period. Included in the larger journal is a copy of a 2-dimensional work by him also from our time in graduate school.
Book 25: (Re)Writing My History was a reflection on my first 25 years making art journals, but infusing them with images and references to my wife Amanda, an artist and art historian, thereby taking her into my past experiences as an artist.
Book 8: Hot Dog, Now This Is Living, spread 24 (pp. 48–49), 23.5 x 36 x 3 cm (9¼ x 14 x 1⅛ in.).
Book 25: (Re)Writing My History: 25th Anniversary Journal, spread 4 (pp. 8–9), 2021, 28 x 44 x 5.5 cm (11 x 17 x 2 ¼ in).

Still on a high from the @studio_be_ showing at @newcombmuseum at @tulaneu this weekend, but before I release the #pics and #blog had acknowledge one of my mentors in #NewOrleans. The incomparable @reggieart. @tauriacphoto caught him doing what he always does when we bump into eech other. Speaking life into me and making me feel like a superhero. And it was extra cool that it found its way on the #studiobe #ig page. How lucky I am to have the respect of those I respect. Check out his art. #FriendsofQ #2020 #VQ3D (at Newcomb Art Museum) https://www.instagram.com/p/B7jsO3BH68f/?igshid=14m3nczazypkc

NOLA is a home, to many, too many and definitely to me, too me. I saw the sunrise in NOLA this morning and for that I give praise and thanks to the most High. Family and friends, folks and free people of colors, come join me tomorrow evening. I will be sharing my living testimony through anthroposonic sonic prayers. There is a lot to be thankful for and plenty to be done. 🏃🏾‍♀️💐🌳🍃🌍 Repost from @nolagulf • MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!!! THIS THURSDAY, APRIL 7, 6PM ROGERS MEMORIAL CHAPEL, TULANE UNIVERSITY'S UPTOWN CAMPUS New Orleans Center for the Gulf South and A Studio in the Woods invite you to a free Live Performance Lab with multimedia artist Lisa E. Harris. Harris is a 2020 Monroe Fellow and a Rising Resident with A Studio in the Woods. She will perform "Onshore Trilling: When the Earth Sings the Bruise"; a sonic-based research project informed by her time in the Woods and investigative work as a Monroe Fellow. No registration necessary! For more information, email [email protected]. AnthropoSonic was made possible by Newcomb Institute's Skau Art and Music Fund. @tulaneu @tulaneliberalarts @ncitu @astudiointhewoods @lisaeverything @tulaneoma @africana_tulane https://www.instagram.com/p/CcBed8XJ1Lm/?utm_medium=tumblr

Very proud of my alma mater! #Repost @tustep.tulane with @repostapp ・・・ Today, some of our members went on a volunteer trip to Animal Rescue New Orleans. This no-kill shelter relies largely on volunteers, so the dogs and cats were pretty excited to see us! #tustep #tusteptulane #tulane #tulaneu #onlyattulane
